Team Solo Mid leads on the Day 1 of the All-Stars Invitational 2022

Recently, Nodwin Gaming in association with LOCO an Indian free online live streaming and esports platform announced the launch of the All-Stars Invitational event. Featuring India’s top 16 BGMI teams.

This is the first-ever LAN event that took place after the COVID-19 outbreak which features a massive prize pool of 50 lakhs INR.

Today was the first day of the event where Team Solo Mid secured the number one spot in the overall standings. The team scored a total of 67 points out of the five matches played.

Team XO finished at the second spot with a total of 60 points followed by Revenant Esports with 56 points. Each team played five matches where Team Solo Mid, Team XO, Revenant Esports, Skylightz Gaming, and 8Bit took one chicken dinner.

BeyondTheSummit to Host Eastern Europe DPC Online Qualifiers for Stockholm Major

Valve has confirmed that it’ll be partnering with tournament organizer Beyond the Summit to host the upcoming Spring Tour for the Eastern European Dota Pro Circuit ahead of the Stockholm Major 2022. The news comes after the event was indefinitely postponed by Valve due to the ongoing Russian invasion of their western neighbours.

According to a Tweet by Valve, Beyond the Summit will be organizing a set of online qualifiers starting April 27th that will decide the three qualifying teams for the Stockholm Major in May 2022.

Beyond the Summit has later confirmed the format for the Eastern European DPC online qualifiers through a Tweet.

Starting April 27th, eight participating teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket, with the top two teams qualifying for the Stockholm Major. 

Teams that finish 3rd-6th will then compete in an additional bracket to determine the final team to qualify for the major.

Division I teams are set to compete from April 27th to May 2nd while Division II teams will compete at a later date.

The Stockholm Major 2022 is set to be the first Dota 2 major to allow a crowd in over two years since the COVID-19 outbreak. The event will kick off on May 12th and will continue till May 22nd, with the winner taking home a lion’s share of the whopping $500,000 USD prize pool.

Complete Team List for PGL Antwerp Major 2022: All 24 Teams

PGL Antwerp Major Europe RMR Group B has ended, bringing an end to two weeks of qualifiers for the Major. 24 teams have been decided that’ll battle it out for a $1 million prize pool starting 9th May with the New Challengers Stage in Antwerp.

8 Teams will skip the first stage as they directly qualified for the Legends stage from the RMRs as the remaining 16 will battle it out for 8 more spots in the New Legends Stage.

The ordeal started with the Americas RMR starting off first, which included the North American and South American Region and had 6 spots up for grabs . This was followed by the Asia Pacific RMR, which had 2 contender spots on the line.

The best of the lot, the European RMR was saved for last as there were 16 European spots to play for. The European RMR was divided into Group A and B with 8 teams qualifying for the Major from each group.

The Americas RMR was filled with amazing storylines, as well as heartbreak for teams. The best of the lot would be a first Major for an Argentinian team in the form of 9z, who beat paiN Gaming to qualify for PGL Antwerp.

Fallen’s Last Dance – Imperial, a team which was criticized heavily for relying on the old guard of fallen, fer and fnx qualified for the Major as well, over teams like Evil Geniuses and 00Nation. EG missed out on the Major, after rebuilding their roster for 2022 as they lost to paiN, Liquid and 9z.

The Asia Pacific RMR, saw a Mongolian team – IHC Gaming qualify for the Major. This would be the first representation of a 5 man Mongolian squad at a CSGO Major. The second spot was taken over by Renegades, after beating Tyloo in an epic comeback.

The European RMR had quite a few upsets, with teams like MOUZ, OG and fnatic missing out on a spot. OG miss their 2nd straight while fnatic miss their 3rd straight major. Turkish superteam, Eternal Fire managed to qualify to become the first Turkish team since Faceit London 2018 to play at a Major.

 In the second group, things went slightly more the way they were expected, even though there were upsets in the form of G2 losing to Anonymo. The international roster did eventually qualify, winning all their games from there on out.

Cloud9 will be returning to CSGO with the signing of the ex-Gambit roster, and make their appearance at their first CSGO Major since IEM Katowice 2019. They qualified as Legends from group B, meaning they will skip the first stage of the Major.

One of the changes that has got many Valorant players upset is the massive nerf to Sova that’s set to be introduced alongside patch 4.08.

Valorant Episode 4 Act 3 Nerfs Sova’s Shockdart & Drone

While many players are looking forward to the release of Fade as Valorant’s newest Initiator, Sova fans are quite worried about the Agent’s future in the meta.

Valorant 4.08 will bring massive nerfs to Sova’s Shockwave and Drone that might make Fade the better option as any team’s primary Initiator.

From what has been revealed so far, Sova’s Shockwave damage will be reduced from a maximum of 90 to 75, which means that unless a player manages to land both Shockdarts at the exact location of an enemy, it will no longer be enough to kill them. 

It goes without saying that this will heavily reduce Sova’s impact at all stages of the game since the dual Shockdarts will almost never be enough to kill armored opponents unless they’re already damaged.

The duration of flight for Sova’s Drone has also been reduced from 10 seconds to 8 seconds. Additionally, targets that the Drone manages to mark will only tick two times instead of three, which is quite a significant nerf to say the least.

Furthermore, Sova players may also need to change their current lineups for Shock Darts since the Agent will also undergo a viewmodel change when equipping the ability. From patch 4.08, Sova’s left arm will be covering the bottom-left part of the player’s HUD when he equips his Shock Darts, making some existing lineups that rely on lining up the HUD with certain textures impossible to make. Sova mains aren’t very happy about this change, and many players have been vocal about this change being unnecessary.

It’d be interesting to see how the professional players manage to adapt to the nerfed Sova, or whether they’ll shift towards the new Agent Fade. It’s safe to say that the latter will be dominating the pubs for the next few weeks unless the nerfs are reverted by the devs.

Upon hitting the ground, the orb will turn into a nightmarish entity that will reveal the location of enemies caught in its line of sight. Enemies can destroy this entity. RE-USE the ability to drop the projectile early in-flight.
  • Seize (Q) : QUIP an orb of nightmare ink. FIRE to throw the orb which will plummet to the ground after a set amount of time. Upon hitting the ground, the ink will explode and create a zone in which enemies who are caught in it cannot escape the zone by normal means. RE-USE the ability to drop the projectile early in-flight.
  • Prowler (C) : EQUIP a Prowler. FIRE will send the Prowler out, causing it to travel in a straight line. The Prowler will lock onto any enemies or trails in their frontal vision cone and chase them, nearsighting them if it reaches them. HOLD the FIRE button to steer the Prowler in the direction of your crosshair.
  • Nightfall (X) : EQUIP the power of Fear. FIRE to send out a wave of nightmare energy that can traverse through walls. The energy creates a trail to the opponent as well as deafens and decays them.

Valorant Fade Release Date: When Does Fade Go Live?

Fade is set to be released alongside the Valorant Episode 4 Act 3 update. As confirmed by the Riot developers, the update will hit the live servers on April 27, 2022.
