Nasty Game-Breaking Bug on Icebox is Destroying Ranked Games

0

Game-breaking bugs have continued to haunt Riot Games’ competitive shooter Valorant since the dawn of the title’s release. While these game-breaking bugs and glitches are generally swift to be patched out by the developers behind the title, some of them often go unnoticed and proceed to create havoc in ranked games.

A new Jett Updraft bug has recently been found by Valorant players, and it can potentially wipe out entire teams if the enemy players aren’t cautious enough.

The glitch enables players to get to an otherwise unreachable spot on top of A-site of Icebox, and to replicate the glitch, players have to use agents like Jett or Raze, who can get to higher altitudes at ease.

When on the defending side, make your way to the top of 410 and use your Updraft (or satchels) to get to a glitched spot located above Pipes.

The glitched can be replicated at ease during any Ranked or Unrated games, and if the enemy team isn’t aware of the exploit, can easily end up in an Ace for the Jett or Raze.

It can also be used on the Attacking side to have an advantageous angle that no one will check, but the enemies can easily kill you since you’re not covered from any angles.

Remember that abusing bugs and glitches can get you banned in Valorant, so it’s advised for players to not use it when they’re in a ranked game. If you want to test the glitch out or see it in action, hop on to a custom server and try it out with your friends to get some hilarious reactions from your teammates and enemies alike.

Valorant is a 5v5 competitive first-person shooter developed and published by Riot Games in June 2020. It is currently available to play exclusively on PC, with a mobile version of the game currently in the works.

GodLike Esports reveal their luxurious new Mumbai bootcamp

0

GodLike Esports has upscaled their organization’s facility provision once again as they have built one of the biggest gaming houses and bootcamp in India based out of Mumbai, the heart of Indian esports.

GodLike Esports has been teasing the revelation of this new facility for the last few days as Kronten and their gamers were saying it is a state-of-the-art facility, which turns out to be true after taking a look at it.

The entire bootcamp tour is videotaped and broadcasted on GodLike Esports’ YouTube channel where Kronten starts the tour and Guru, Neyoo, Ghatak and others continue it to the very end.

The new facility is a four-storeyed building with multiple streaming setups, gaming rooms, shoot areas as well as gym, car parking and a chill cafe.

Kronten starts this tour by showing the fully equipped gym with all sorts of equipment needed for living a healthy lifestyle. He also shows the main lobby area where a huge graffiti of “Dilse GodLike” has been carved out on the wall.

The first floor is made out of multiple streaming rooms and accomodation with a special focus on Free Fire and CODM. This floor also has a huge graffiti of Jett from Valorant and the Cobra set from Free Fire.

The second floor is given entirely to the BGMI team as the roster and management live, stream and compete together. The entirety of BGMI operates from this floor. It also has some room for the Valorant streaming setup.

The third floor is called the GodLike arena which has a pool table at the centre with many seating areas and special lighting. GodLike has made this area to make the rosters feel more competitive and energetic during their tournaments.

The last floor is called a chill cafe and this is the relaxation area for all the members as they can eat, play table tennis and do other activities to wind down and relax.

This facility has certainly provided all the members with a fully functioning support where all the players can compete and play to their heart’s content without getting tired.

New CS:GO update reveals Recoil Case

A new case has been introduced to the first person tactical shooter.

Today’s update in Counter Strike : Global Offensive brings a brand new weapon case dubbed as the “Recoil Collection” which features 17 Weapon Skin finishes alongside an exceedingly rare item which may drop a pair of gloves if you’re lucky enough. The 17 weapon skins are spread across the four rarities in the game as the Recoil case is the sixth case to open a glove collection and not a knife.

The collection headlines the USP-S | Printstream joins the M4A1-S and Desert Eagle in the Printstream collection and falls under the covert rarity. The P250 Visions skin has been brought on from the CS:GO workshop, thanks to its design powered by artists @cimota_art and @chrisparraart on Twitter.

Here are some shots of the skins you may acquire from the Recoil case.

A Coaching Bug surfaces in Valorant

0

Yesterday, Theodor “in0X” Bjornsson, The Head Coach for the TSM FTX Academy Valorant team, reported the existence of a Valorant Coaching bug which shows the position of the enemy team in the minimap.

In his Tweet, he shared a video of the team playing a scrim where you can see the yellow dots blinking, which are the positional indicators of the enemies. As you follow the video, you can see that the yellow indicators are quite accurate and can break the game’s competitive integrity.

Right now, there is no indicator of how the bug is triggered and restarting the game does fix it, but the bug has often occurred in scrims and official matches. Ian Harding V1’s Coach also experienced a variant of the same bug during the VCT, but it was only for enemies seen by the team.

As reported by George Geddes, many coaches from EMEA and NA have experienced some variant of this bug.

The most recent one happened at the VCT Playoffs, where NRG faced Faze Clan in the Lower bracket semifinals, where Josh “JoshRT” Lee experienced a variation of the coaching Bug. After immediately reporting the same to Riot, he was asked to restart the game, and the match continued.

Josh has also mentioned that the Riot team has been working on a hotfix for the issue. There is no indicator for why or how one can experience the bug. Still, it has been in Valorant for a while, with the first instance reported by the Akrew Coach Salah, who experienced it for both the official matchups but reported it immediately.

A similar instant was reported by GenG Jaxsen, where the game designer Penguin commented on fixing the bug.

The existence of the bug is fine for large-scale, Riot Sponsored events where there exists a referee who monitors the voice communications and coaches monitor closely. But in the case of smaller events or events with a large number of participants monitoring coaches becomes tough, resulting in unfair advantages provided to the teams.

With no replay system in Valorant, there is no way Riot can investigate the coaching bug and if the coaches used it at lower-tier tournaments. For now, Riot is working on fixing it, and the existence of Referees at the highest stage of events ensures nothing as such happens.

Ascend Valorant Bench Zeek Ahead of VCT EMEA LCQ

0

Ahead of the upcoming VCT EMEA LCQ, Ascend has decided to bench the MVP of their Valorant Champions winning run, Zeek. The decision is based on the disappointing finish in the current split of VCT EMEA Challengers.

Ascend became the world champion in 2021 after winning the inaugural Valorant Champions with Zeek, CNED, Bonecold, Starxo and Kiles and were top of the world. The year 2022 was a rough start, with them benching Bonecold at the start of the year and later benching Kiles.

The team later got vakk and MONSTERR to complete their rosters. But the results remained the same, with the team managing to qualify for the VCT EMEA Challengers playoff but lost to FPX, ending their tournament run.

The team still has enough points to qualify for the LCQ, and thus the management has decided to bench Zeek and trial a new player ahead of VCT EMEA LCQ 2022.

Aleksander “Zeek” Zygmunt is a Polish Flex player who started his Valorant Journey playing for Those guys and then nolpenki to join G2 Esports in the year 2021. In a Roster Shuffle between G2 and Ascent, Zeek was added to Ascend in place of Koldamenta in June of 2021.

With Ascent, Zeek became the Grand finalist of VCT Masters Berlin and the MVP and winner of Valorant Champions of the year 2021.

Ascend as a whole seems to be struggling this year and have been taking steps to change things, while the team currently has

cNed, starxo, vakk and MONSTERRR as part of their roster, they’d try to find the final puzzle of the piece and compete with the updated roster at VCT EMEA LCQ.

While Zeek still wishes to compete and would be available for any team that is ready to give him a chance. He would be a restricted F/A until his contract expires, and Ascend would be willing to loan him or free him as soon as a team shows interest.

The Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 weekly challenges are pretty enthralling. This time you have to cut down timber pines with a Ripsaw launcher. For that, you must know where the timber pines are in the game. Keep reading this article till the end to find out the timber pine locations in Fortnite and how to cut them down with a Ripsaw launcher.

Let’s find out where the timber pines are located:

Fortnite Timber Pine locations

You can find timber pines at several locations around the Fortnite map. However, to get them in bulk you should definitely visit the snowy area around Logjam Lotus which is located at the top-left corner of the map.

How to knock down a Timber Pine with a Ripsaw launcher?

First of all, you need a Ripsaw launcher that you can find at the Chop Shop located near the north side of the Logjam Lotus. Once you get a Ripsaw launcher, you can easily cut down timber pines.

However, the timber pine that you will cut down can damage anything if it falls down on it. Moreover, if you knock down a timber pine on the top of a mountain, it will start rolling down and will bring down all the timber pines that will come in its path.

KRU beat NiP to Qualify for VCT Masters Copenhagen; LOUD qualifies for Valorant Champions

The runner-ups from the Valorant Champions Tour Brazil Challengers and LATAM Challengers battled it for the last spot at the VCT Masters Copenhagen for South America, where Chilean KRU Esports defeated the Brazilian Ninjas in Pyjamas.

The game was a best of 5 maps where KRU, who had lost to Leviatan in the Finals of VCT LATAM Challengers, took on NiP, who had previously lost to LOUD at the VCT Brazil Challengers Finals.

The game started on Breeze, KRU’s map pick, where the team managed to edge out NiP, winning the half 7-5. But on the attack, KRU showed absolute masterclass, where they lost only two rounds to close the map 13-8.

On Fracture, NiP’s map pick, KRU started on defence and completely locked down the sites on defence, only allowing NiP to get four rounds to win the half 8-4 and then on attack managed to beat down NiP’s defence, winning the map 13-5 with absolute dominance.

With Icebox being KRU’s map pick, NiP was in a desperate situation where losing this map would mean they’re done for. NiP on defence started strong, winning four rounds in a row, But KRU managed to find an answer to NiP’s defence in the fifth round and went on to win seven rounds in a row, where NiP finally stopped the bleeding in the last rounds closing the half 7-5 in favour of KRU.

NiP again started strong on attack, with NiP winning five rounds out of six, But KRU managed to hold off NiP in the next six rounds and win the map 13-7. With this, they won the series 3-0, defeating Ninjas in Pyjamas to become the last team to qualify for VCT Masters Copenhagen.

With Ninjas in Pyjamas now out of the running for Masters, LOUD officially becomes the 5th team to qualify for Valorant Champions based on Circuit points. While Ninjas in Pyjamas now have to battle through the South American LCQ to make it to the Valorant Champions.

With VCT Masters Copenhagen kicking off on July 10, most teams would be excited to play to compete and cement their spots at Valorant Champions. Now with LOUD, we have five teams who have already qualified with five more to go from LATAM, NA, EMEA and Japan.
