For that reason, the popular Twitch personality Dr Disrespect also called Twitch a “sh*t platform”.

Dr Disrespect has posted a tweet on his official account. However, he didn’t mention the reason behind it.

In June 2020, Dr Disrespect received a ban on Twitch. However, this year in March the dispute got solved by both parties. The reason is still unknown as no information was released.

Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond coming to FIFA 23

0

Apart from hundreds of authentic football, we may also get the fictional football manager Ted Lasso and his team AFC Richmond in FIFA 23. The popular comedy TV series Ted Lasso was released back in 2020 where he was the manager of an English football club named AFC Richmond.

Ted Lasso had recently teased his FIFA 23 debut on Twitter while EA Sports has replied with an emoji.

Look out, Mario! You’re not the only pixelated man with a mustache who never knows where the tube is taking him…

If you take a look at the image above, you will see the Ted Lasso actor Jason Sudeikis standing surrounded by FIFA’s facial capture system. The developers use this system to digitize an incarnation of a person to use in the FIFA series. EA Sports FIFA has also replied to the tweet with an emoji which makes the rumor more evident.

Are we going to see Ted Lasso and his club AFC Richmond in FIFA 23? Only time has the answer.

Update

EA Sports confirmed the collaboration with Ted Lasso officially.

Global Esports Secures Valorant Franchising Spot: Report

0

Update: Global Esports has created History as one of the few Indian Gaming Company to be selected to participate in an entry into the Prestigious Valorant International league.

According to various sources who spoke with TalkEsport, South-Asian Organization Global Esports secured their Valorant franchising slot earlier today for the Asia Pacific League.

The structure of the Valorant season 2023 has already been disclosed to the public. Riot Games will shake things up by implementing a franchising structure into the professional circuit of the game, which will cause a commotion. As a result of this reorganization, the international arena will be broken up into three primary regions: the Americas, the EMEA, and the Asia Pacific.

Global Esports is one of the most well-known teams in Esports and is also one of the favourites to be accepted because of its prominence in the South-Asian environment.

Global Esports have notably bagged a plethora of regional tournaments, toppling some of the heavyweights across B-events. Bhavin “HellRangeR” Kotwani and his men recently made it to the VCT 2022: APAC Stage 2 Challengers only to be further denied from progressing onto the Stage 2 Masters held in Copenhagen.

As per our sources, the team underwent a media shoot where they confirmed their milestone with Riot earlier today.

Since the beginning of the year 2020, Global Esports has been actively competing in VALORANT, transitioning their team from Counter Strike: Global Offensive to Riot’s first-person shooter. As mentioned, the team has played out several regional tournaments, not to forget the Valorant Conquerors Championship 2021 where they beat Velocity Gaming 3-2 in a nail-biting final.

Previously, we had seen Riot Games reveal the roadmap for next year’s Valorant Champions Tour. In case you haven’t had the time to check it out yet, VCT 2023 will feature three regional leagues that only a select few ‘partnered teams’ will be able to compete in, with the first International Split starting in March 2023.

Teams that failed to secure partnerships with Riot Games can still participate in the upcoming Valorant Challengers Circuit 2023 to stand a chance to participate in the VCT 2024 season.
