Is Apex Legends Crossplay?

0

Several online games are introducing crossplay gradually. Almost every big video game developer is moving towards crossplay as it is an important part of online features. Crossplay basically lets players play like PC vs PS, Xbox vs PC, or PS vs Xbox. Being a battle royale game, does Apex Legends support crossplay? Let’s find out.

After the release of Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment rose to the top of the gaming industry. It is a battle royale game that appears similar to other combat games but differs in a few ways. Players can appreciate the enhanced powers that provide them an advantage over their opponents.

Is Apex Legends Crossplay?

Apex Legends allows users to join alliances and play together regardless of platform. Players from many gaming platforms may join in and enter the arena to destroy adversaries.

However, explaining the game’s advancement mechanism may quickly get confusing. Apex Legends does not allow full Cross progression. It means that you may transfer your account from PS4 to PS5, but you cannot play the game or access your account from another platform.

If you upgraded your account on one console and then transferred it to another, you must rebuild it.

Miniclip Has Officially Shut Down Its Servers Except For 8 Ball Pool and Agario

0

A sad day for millennials as one of the most significant part of their childhood, Miniclip, just went bust and announced that they will be shutting down all their servers except for 8 Ball Pool and Agario.

The news comes after years of decline in daily player count on the site and dwindling revenue of Web Games. An industry-wide push to phase off Adobe Flash player which was a staple to Miniclip’s success in the 2000s only meant the news of inevitable shutdown was close.

A site that was built from the ground on Adobe Flash player and had loads of games that required the plugin to play it was just a ticking time bomb waiting for its end.

Back in April during its March meeting, the UK-based mobile game publisher Miniclip revealed its plan to shut down the web games portal and focus mainly on the success of its mobile games that recently exceeded 4 billion downloads across its mobile portfolio which includes games like Agar.io, Mini Militia, 8 Ball Pool, etc

Miniclip also posted a lengthy FAQ on its support site which explained the shift in the company’s strategy and what it meant for other games and content partnerships. They also went into detail about why handing off the platform to fans would not be possible as “the technology required to make this happen is a proprietary solution to Miniclip”.

Regardless of its early success, the site had a hard time keeping the audience excited enough to visit daily and generate revenue from Web Games service.

With the advancement in mobile games, the already dwindling players count nosedived and now we are witnessing the downfall of an era piece. But nonetheless, the company is now focusing on a better revenue-generating model and we will likely see more successful mobile games in the future.

How To Fix Valorant Version Mismatch Error

0

Valorant players across the world are reporting encountering the ‘version mismatch’ error since the last Valorant update was shipped to the game.

This error isn’t uncommon, though. It has existed in the competitive shooter since its closed beta days and popped up occasionally after its official release on June 2nd.

However, the good news is, this error is nothing to worry about. While it usually fixes itself, there may be times where you find this prevailing for more than a few hours. In that case, you might want to do a few steps to be able to fix the issue.

What is Valorant Version Mismatch error?

The version mismatch error is generally caused by updates to Valorant when players run a client version that’s different from the actual version which the server is running. Riot is generally quick to fix these issues, and it’s quite rare for this issue to persist for over a couple of hours.

How to fix the Valorant Version Mismatch error in 2022?

While your best bet is to wait it out if you grow tired of waiting you can choose to update, or even reinstall the game yourself. To do so,

  • Close the Valorant client and re-launch it, prompting the game to download any newly shipped updates.
  • If you want to re-download the game from scratch, go to the control panel and uninstall the game first from ‘Add or Remove Programs’. Once you’re done, you can visit the official Valorant page here to download your new copy of Valorant.

If these steps don’t fix the problem, then you’re left with no other option than to wait till the update fully gets shipped. This typically takes between 3-4 hours, and may even be shorter depending on how big the update is.

How to defeat the Inkquisitor at Grim Gables in Fortnite

0

Fortnitemares 2022 challenge is here and players have to defeat the Inkquisitor at Grim Gables before the Halloween event is over.

The Halloween event is back in Fortnite and plenty of rewards are up for grabs. Chapter 3 Season 4 has been full of events and players have had a reward at every step of the season where the Halloween event is not an exception.

Defeat the Inkquisitor at Grim Gables during the Fortnitemares event

Defeating the boss can be quite difficult with real players around so going for bot lobbies is always an option. Bot lobbies allow you to make it to the location of the boss easily without having to go through countless battles before.

Once you arrive at Grim Gables, make sure you are armed to the teeth. Quickly arrive at the location before anyone else has the chance to take it down. The Inkquisitor needs to be summoned and is located in a basement beneath Grim Gables.

Make your way to the basement and summoned it by doing the ritual. The place looks creepy as if it was designed for outcast activities. The ritual will take place after you are inside the circle.

Once summoned try keeping as much distance as possible. The fight will take place in a closed area so it can get difficult at times to dodge attacks. The Pumpkin launcher is its primary weapon so keeping distance is of utmost importance.

It can be taken down with a couple of shots in key areas and isn’t too difficult. Upon defeating it you will receive the Pumpkin Launcher and the Mythic SMG.

Sentinels to field SicK as their sixth player

Hunter “SicK” Mims is making his comeback to the team as their sixth man after being gone from the game for a number of months. SicK is the sole member of the original Sentinels roster that is still active.

After dealing with a family crisis and struggling with his mental health, SicK made the decision to step down from the roster in the middle of the VCT NA Stage 2 Challengers. During Sentinels’ VCT NA Last Chance Qualifier run, they fielded Michael “shroud” Grzesiek and Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro.

After teasing earlier in the day on Twitter that it wouldn’t field a sixth man, Sentinels revealed it is instead fielding a “SicKth” guy.

As SicK is now the sole player from the original Sentinels roster still active who signed with the team before the summer of 2020, he will take on the primary role of substitute. Sentinels rebuilt around TenZ after a poor 2022 season, including stand-in performances from shroud and Zellsis at the LCQ.

New head coach Don “Syyko” Muir recruited zekken and dephh, two players who had previously participated in his highly successful XSET project. Additionally, Sacy and pANcada, both formerly of Brazil’s LOUD, were brought in to give the rest of the lineup world championship experience.

SicK has been a member of the VALORANT roster since the Sentinels first appeared on the scene; yet, he was benched for a significant portion of the 2022 season. In May this past year, SicK was forced to be substituted out of a VCT match due to a family emergency.

A month later, he announced that he would be taking extended time off to deal with his deteriorating mental health and would be taking leave in order to focus on getting better.

It is reasonable to anticipate that the complete new Sentinels lineup, including SicK, will compete at the VCT 2023 Kickoff event that will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in the month of February.

Is Fortnite Working on Lil Uzi Vert Skin?

0

Fortnite players around the world are hyped up about the Lil Uzi Vert skin. However, the question is if the developers are actually working on it or not. Even though it could be a good skin in the game, apparently, nothing shows Epic’s interest in that skin.

Apart from that, leakers also have no information about that skin bundle. Then why players are excited about the Fortnite Lil Uzi Vert skin? Let’s find out the answer.

According to reports, a new costume named “Bonejamin” resembles the rapper, who is seen wearing something strangely similar in one of his photos. Despite the fact that this is not an official partnership, the community appears to believe differently. Since its debut on October 18, the community has dubbed this outfit the Lil Uzi Vert Fortnite skin.

Furthermore, several YouTube video makers claimed that the devs had officially introduced a Lil Uzi Vert Fortnite skin which hyped it up more.

Those wishing for formal cooperation can put their hopes aside. Because the game is rated PG-13, adding Lil Uzi Vert will be a poor choice, given that he was charged with various offenses earlier this year. He was accused of assault with a firearm, criminal threats, and domestic violence in February.

Carrying loaded guns in public is not permitted. As a result, putting the rapper as an Icon series skin is out of the question.
