Valorant players may soon get a brand-new limited-time store similar to the Night Market, as per recent leaks that have surfaced on the internet.
The leaks regarding this new Valorant store were first brought to light by prominent dataminer “valohabercisi,” who shared their findings through an X post.
The feature, internally referred to as “Soup,” appears to function as a special event shop that’s only in the game for a limited time rather than a permanent addition to the main Valorant store. Over the last two updates, Riot Games has added several files and background assets under the “Soup” name, which reveal further information about what the new store might include.
The new Valorant limited-time store includes its own dedicated tab and icon in the main menu, a unique offer type called “SoupOfferDTO,” and support for both individual items and full bundles. It also tracks whether players have viewed all available offers, similar to the Night Market. Unlike the standard shop that rotates daily, this store is designed to open only when Riot decides to activate it.
What sets the new Valorant “Soup” store apart from anything we’ve seen in the game so far is its distinctive “ingredient” system. The leaked code references four specific types: BEEF_STEW, CHICKEN_NOODLE, CHILI, and GUMBO. As per the leaker, players can interact with these ingredients in some way to unlock or generate offers.
Notably, the current Act’s battle pass already leans heavily into culinary motifs, leading many Valorant players to believe Riot has been quietly teasing this feature for weeks.
Needless to say, the Valorant community is excited to potentially see a Night Market alternative in the game, with some players even hoping to be able to trade unwanted skins for new ones using the ingredient system.
