Riot Games has officially revealed the patch notes for the Valorant 10.11 update, and it aims to bring a bunch of exciting improvements to the competitive shooter.
While the Valorant 10.11 update doesn’t bring any drastic changes to the game, there’s still plenty to look forward to in this new patch.
The most notable changes in the Valorant 10.11 update include the Finisher Cam and updates to Premier mode rewards.
The Finisher Cam, which is a new addition to Valorant, will work similarly to the Spike Cam and will only be triggered after dying to weapon skins with finishers. It aims to reduce the overall visual clutter and related photosensitivity concerns for players sensitive to flashing lights. It’s also expected to reduce performance issues associated with finishers in the past.
Without further ado, let’s check out the detailed patch notes for the Valorant 10.11 update.
Valorant 10.11 Patch Notes Revealed
Below, we’ve listed the detailed patch notes for the Valorant 10.11 update, as confirmed by Riot Games:
ALL PLATFORMS
GENERAL UPDATES
- Added a Finisher Cam, which will trigger for deaths by guns with finishers and function the same way the Spike Cam currently does. We hope this will help combat visual clutter and related photosensitivity concerns for those sensitive to flashing lights, as well as performance issues associated with how your view would sometimes behave during finishers in the past.
CLIENT UPDATES
- Career page menu music has been updated to a remix of Ego by Qing Madi.
SOCIAL UPDATES
- Adjusted the appearance of in-game voice indicators to improve clarity
BUG FIXES
- Agents
- Fixed an issue where the visual indicator for Nightfall wouldn’t disappear for spectators if Fade dies with the ability equips.
- Fixed an issue where area names on Guided Salvo ability maps were too large and overlapping due to decreased cast range. We’ve removed area names from Tejo’s Guided Salvo and Armageddon ability maps for consistency.
- Fixed an issue where Reyna’s Targeting visual for Leer wouldn’t properly display for spectators, allies, and observer perspectives.
- Fixed an issue where Waylay’s targeting indicator for Convergent Paths wouldn’t display properly for spectators, allies, and observer perspectives.
- Fixed an issue where Clove’s Pick-me-up audio wouldn’t play properly for all players.
- Fixed an issue where Chamber’s Trademark didn’t have team coloring applied on the minimap for observers.
- Fixed an issue where Breach’s Fault Line area of effect VFX was not matching collision volume depending on charge duration.
