T1 on Twitter have announced the signing of David Denis as their new head coach.

Nearly a month after they parted ways with their former head coach Daniel “fRod” Montaner, Korean-North American Organization T1 have signed David Denis who will be stepping in the shoes of the former CS professional.

Denis previously worked at Cloud9 as a psychology trainer where he assisted the League of Legends and CSGO divisions throughout his tenure at the same. At the end of his contract, he transitioned to a performance coach at Team SoloMid where he helped them to scale great heights at the First Strike tournament. He too had a short stint at Gen.G’s along with Evil Geniuses’ professional CSGO teams.

This is the first time ever, David takes up the head coach role as until now, he was a Psychology trainer as mentioned above. More recently, T1 had failed to Qualify for Valorant Challengers Tour 2021: North American Challengers #1 after going down to Andbox in the round of 16. It is definitely a new beginning for T1 as DaZed has reportedly taken up the In-game leading role along with David as their new coach.

With this new addition, T1 Valorant now looks like:

  • Sam “DaZeD” Marine (Captain)
  • Braxton “Brax” Pierce
  • Keven “AZK” Larivière
  • Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham
  • Ha “Spyder” Jung-woo
  • David Denis (Head Coach)
