A Steam achievements leak has exposed data for dozens of upcoming games, including several titles that publishers haven’t announced yet. The information appeared on Exophase, a site that tracks achievements and trophies across platforms like Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and the Epic Games Store. Exophase’s owner says the leak likely stems from a bug in Valve’s API.

What Caused the Steam Achievements Leak
Exophase started adding hundreds of new Steam entries over a short window on September 9, 2026. Many belonged to games still in development, some of which had never been publicly announced.
Mike Bendel, known online as x3sphere and the owner of Exophase, addressed the situation in a ResetEra thread. He explained that achievements meant to stay private became accessible through Valve’s API.
Bendel wrote that it looked like a mistake on Valve’s end, since games with achievements that should be private suddenly became visible through the API. He added that Exophase’s scanner automatically picked them up as a result, and unnamed games are typically labeled using their Steam AppID.
Valve has not issued an official statement on the leak.
Which Games Appeared in the Steam Leak
The leak covers both confirmed titles and a batch of previously unrevealed games. Confirmed releases with newly exposed achievement lists include Persona 6, Kingdom Hearts 4, Gears of War: E-Day, Judas, Control Resonant, Horizon Hunters Gathering, Silent Hill: Townfall, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis.
The list also includes titles nobody has officially announced. These entries point toward a possible Avengers game, a Sea of Thieves sequel or spin-off, a new Balatro project, a Shrek-related game, a new Sonic title, and a Walking Dead collection, among others.

Persona 6 and Kingdom Hearts 4 Achievements Contain Spoilers
The Persona 6 leak is one of the biggest parts of this story. Its achievement list reportedly contains 48 entries, and the game does not have an official release date yet. Some achievement names and descriptions reportedly reference locations, activities, and gameplay systems that Atlus hasn’t revealed publicly.
Kingdom Hearts 4’s leaked achievements reportedly reference Disney worlds that haven’t been officially confirmed for the game. Players who want to avoid spoilers may want to stay away from achievement-tracking sites for now.
The Twin Peaks Entry Remains a Mystery
One of the stranger entries in the leak belongs to an unannounced Twin Peaks game. It currently lists only two achievements: a placeholder test achievement, and one for reaching the Double R Diner, the diner featured in the original show.
There’s no confirmation of who is developing the game or whether it will ever be released. The entry may be an abandoned prototype rather than an active project.
An achievement appearing on Steam’s backend doesn’t confirm that a game exists or will be released. Some entries could be internal tests, placeholders, or cancelled projects. Publishers have not confirmed any of the unannounced titles listed above. Neither Valve nor any of the publishers connected to the unannounced games have commented on the leak at the time of writing.
