Phoenix Esports, which was established soon after Rahul “t1to” Sridhar and Tejas “Rex” Kotian were benched from Global Esports’ lineup in late November 2019, is about the add former Entity Gaming champ. According to sources close to Phoenix players, Chinmay “PoKI” Mehta is all set to re-unite with his former 2EZ Gaming teammates.

22-year-old triumphed at recently held ESL India Premiership 2019-2020 Winter LAN Finale in Delhi with Entity Gaming. However, prior to the event, TalkEsport had reported that Entity Gaming is heading towards a roster overhaul after its outing in Delhi. The organisation has bid farewell to Karan “Excali” Mhaswadkar and Chinmay “PoKI” Mehta earlier this week.

Phoenix Esports has swiftly acquired Chinmay’s service. Harsh “firedup” Jain will depart to make way for Chinmay. Sources further suggested that Harsh is a phenomenal player with fine raw skills however the squad wanted to add more firepower into the lineup while firedup is likely to step aside and gain more experience.

Phoenix Esports’ lineup for upcoming Counter-Strike season in the subcontinent will be:

  • Rahul “t1to” Sridhar
  • Tejas “Rex” Kotian
  • Saharyar “BaDman” Shaikh
  • Sahil “pashasahil” Pasha
  • Chinmay “PoKI” Mehta
