Pewdiepie pledges $100,000 donation for Lebanese blast victims

PewDiePie is well known for his charity work, having donated to several noble causes in the past, the Swed has stepped forward to donate $100000 to Red Cross Lebanon to help with Tuesday’s devastating blast.


 The unfortunate event was caused by a little less than 3000 tonnes of ammonium nitrate stored unsafely since 2013. The explosion leveled the surrounding area killing around 137 people and injuring about 5000 more. Immense damage is caused to homes and business established in the vicitny of the blast.

In PewDiePie’s latest video called “I Got Cancelled Again..”, Felix addresses the heat he has been receiving from the community in the past few days over his leaked Spotify playlist, after reacting to memes about the same, he concluded the by promising to donate $100000 to the Lebanon Red Cross.

PewDiePie was under fire recently for having a music taste that doesn’t comply with his fans, artists have spoken out asking Pewds not to listen to their music, but that didn’t stop him from caring about the conditions of the people in Lebanon.

This month’s collection will go to Red Cross Lebanon and for September, Felix promises to donate again to Blue Ocean addressing similar issues, as he precisely is correct on the fact that this matter deserves the utmost importance.
