Sony has revealed Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 console, controller, and console covers ahead of the game’s September 2026 launch. The PlayStation Blog gave the first look at the full lineup on August 11, confirming a Battle Yellow bundle and a separate Adamantium design. The bundle includes a PS5 Digital Edition console, a matching DualSense Wireless Controller, and a game code for Marvel’s Wolverine. Standalone controllers and console covers are also available for existing PS5 and PS5 Pro owners.

Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Console Design
The PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle uses a bold yellow and black color scheme. Sony said the design draws from Insomniac Games’ Battle Reborn suit and claws from the upcoming title.
Claw marks run across the console body on both the yellow and black sections. In some spots, the marks expose a glass panel that lets players see the PS5’s internal fan.
The matching DualSense Wireless Controller carries the same black and yellow finish, with yellow joysticks, a yellow PS button, and yellow-outlined arrow keys. A yellow claw mark cuts across the controller’s face, while the console carries the same mark in black. The controller is also sold on its own, separate from the bundle.
Scottish graphic artist Jock, who worked on key art for Marvel’s Wolverine, contributed to the hardware design. Marcus Smith of Insomniac Games said Jock’s illustrations “have the energy and dynamics needed to capture the kinetic and violent nature” of the character.
PS5 Pro Console Covers and the Adamantium Edition
Players who already own a PS5 Slim (Digital or Disc Drive) or PS5 Pro can buy separate console covers instead of the full bundle. The Battle Yellow console covers are available for both PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro models and carry the same claw-mark design as the bundle.
Sony also confirmed a second design, Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition, for PS5 Pro. It uses the same claw-slashed pattern but swaps the yellow finish for a metallic look inspired by Logan’s adamantium skeleton and claws. A matching DualSense controller in the Adamantium finish is sold separately.
Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 Console and Controller Price
Pre-orders for the Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 console, controllers, and console covers open on August 19 at 10 AM local time. Hardware ships alongside the game on September 15, 2026.

The bundle and Battle Yellow controller will be sold through direct.playstation.com and select retailers. The console covers and Adamantium items are exclusive to direct.playstation.com and select retailers outside supported regions.

Marvel’s Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games, launches on PS5 on September 15, 2026. It follows Insomniac’s previous Marvel titles, including the Spider-Man series, which also received limited edition PS5 hardware.
