With the Coronavirus pandemic around the globe and it’s showing no signs of stopping, WePlay! insisted to ”show the strength and unity of the Dota 2 community” coming up with a fully-online tournament called WePlay! Charity Play in this Covid-19 havoc.

24 teams from around the world for a noble cause, to be a helping hand in this fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in which all of us are together. $120,000 and all the donations on streams from the viewers will go right to CEPI and GlobalGiving to help aid.

24 teams in all, the tournament will run throughout the regions concurrently. Each of six major regions Europe, CIS, North and South America, China and Southeast Asia will have four teams playing for a prize pool of $20,000, rounding up $120,000 altogether.
Each group will be single-elimination with best-of-three matches all the way through.
