Rockstar Games have been fairly generous in the past when it comes to GTA Online as they have repeatedly given away in-game money and other items for free to their players over time. This month is no different as PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting $1,000,000 every month until the release of Grand Theft Auto V / Online on the PlayStation 5.
However, instead of waiting up to 72 hours, players will have to redeem the currency manually by accessing the PlayStation Store either through a browser or the console itself and search for “PS Plus: GTA $1,000,000 for GTA Online” and click on the “add to cart” option. Keep in mind that you must be an active PlayStation Plus subscriber to claim the offer.
This process was a much-needed change as the previous method consumed a lot of time and wasn’t instantaneous as compared to claiming it manually. You can also claim the free currency directly by going here.
Grand Theft Auto V is set to release on PlayStation V later this year with additional features and enhancements.
