KRAFTON India Esports has opened registrations for PIC 2026, an open-for-all PUBG: Battlegrounds PC tournament with a ₹25 lakh prize pool. Squads can sign up at pubgesports.in until November 4 at 23:59 IST. The event runs from November 11 to 29 and ends with a 16-team Grand Final.
This is the payoff to Tuesday’s teaser. KRAFTON India promised “a new chapter for PC esports in India”, and a report that night claimed a ₹25 lakh open PUBG PC event was coming in November.
Both of those details are now official. The bigger claim, that India becomes its own PUBG PC region in 2027, still is not.
PIC 2026 schedule and format
PIC 2026 runs in four stages across November. Only 16 squads make the Grand Final.
| Stage | Date |
|---|---|
| Open Qualifiers | November 11 |
| League | November 12-22 |
| Last Chance | November 26 |
| Grand Finals | November 28-29 |
KRAFTON hasn’t shared how many teams move between stages yet. It also hasn’t said whether the Grand Finals are online or on LAN.
The Last Chance stage suggests a second route into the finals for teams that miss out in the League. We’ll add the advancement rules once KRAFTON publishes the full rulebook.

Who can enter PIC 2026
KRAFTON calls it “open for all”, but there are four rules every player has to meet.
| Rule | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Age | 18 or older on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 |
| Location | Live in India and play every match from India |
| Squad | 4 players, plus 1 optional substitute |
| Account | One PUBG: Battlegrounds PC account per player, in good standing |
The age rule is the one to watch. A player who turns 18 after November 11 can’t play, even in later stages.
“Good standing” usually means no active bans on the account. If anyone on your squad has had a ban, check before you register.
How to register for PIC 2026
Registration takes two steps, according to KRAFTON’s post.
- Go to pubgesports.in.
- Create a squad of four players, or join an existing one.
Add your optional substitute when you build the squad. Registrations close on November 4 at 23:59 IST, a week before the Open Qualifiers.
What PIC 2026 confirms from the 2027 region report
On Tuesday, a report from letsgrowesports laid out KRAFTON’s alleged PUBG PC plans for India. Wednesday’s post checks off part of it.
| Reported claim | Status after October 21 |
|---|---|
| Open PUBG PC tournament in November 2026 | Confirmed (PIC 2026) |
| ₹25 lakh prize pool for that event | Confirmed |
| Registrations opening soon | Confirmed, open until November 4 |
| Broadcast on KRAFTON India Esports channels | Not yet announced |
| India as its own PUBG PC region in 2027 | Not confirmed |
| Four 2027 cycles, one international slot each | Not confirmed |
| LAN events in two of the four cycles | Not confirmed |
With three of the near-term claims now confirmed, the 2027 part of the report looks more credible. KRAFTON still hasn’t said a word about it, though.
Why PIC 2026 matters for Indian PC players
Right now, Indian PUBG PC teams don’t have their own official route. They qualify through the PUBG Master Series alongside teams from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Southeast Asia and Oceania, as listed on PUBG Esports’ PMS 2026 page.
PIC 2026 is the first KRAFTON-run PUBG PC tournament built only for Indian players. If the 2027 region happens, events like this would likely become the path to international slots.
The TPP choice lines up with the wider scene too. PUBG Master Series switched fully to TPP for 2026, so Indian teams that grind PIC are training in the same mode they’d face in the region.
KRAFTON India has so far run its esports program around BGMI. BMIC 2026 begins in Mumbai on October 30, and any PC announcement there would be worth watching.
What happens next
Registrations stay open until November 4. Expect KRAFTON to publish the rulebook, stage-by-stage advancement and broadcast details before the Open Qualifiers on November 11.
We’ll update this story with those details, and with any confirmation of the 2027 India region. For the background, read our original report on the PUBG PC India teaser.
