ESL India announce Rainbow 6 Siege India Series tournament

In a recent facebook post, ESL India management has announced that it will be conducting an all new Rainbow 6 Siege tournament. The ESL R6: Siege 5on5 India Series 2019 is all set to rock the viewers and the R6S community.

Previously, India seriously lacked tournaments focusing on the growing Rainbow 6 Siege (R6S) community here, but the recent announcement of ESL India will undoubtedly fill the budding community with new hopes. The newly announced tournament will have 2 open qualifiers set between 1st to 3rd November and 8th to 10th November respectively which will be dedicated to Indian teams only, the top 2 teams from each of the Qualifiers will battle it out in the massive LAN finale whose date still remains undisclosed. The format of the qualifiers is rather simple, all the initial rounds will be Best-of-One elimination type, with only the semi-finals and finals of the qualifiers being Best-of-Three. There is no such limitations on Operators as long as the players own them, but it is to be noted that Operators exclusive to Season Pass owners are not allowed in this tournament as per ESL rules, Nøkk and Warden are also banned in the tournament.

The registrations for the tournaments is currently live at esl.gg and any team is free to participate in the open qualifiers.
