EPICENTER Major to take place in Moscow in May 2020

Epic Esports Events company (a part of ESforce Holding) will be the organizer of the fourth Major-class series* of Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2019-2020 season — the EPICENTER Major. The event’s final stage will take place in Moscow from 8th through 10th of May in CSKA Arena.

EPICENTER Major will feature a prize pool of $1 000 000 with the winner taking home $300 000 and improving their Dota Pro Circuit standings by 4850 points to get a spot in the main Dota 2 event of the year — the 10th anniversary The International 2020 World Championship.

16 teams from all around the world will participate in the EPICENTER Major. The event’s group stage is scheduled for 2-3rd May in compliance with the general Major series ruleset. The teams will determine their Upper and Lower Bracket seeds based on their performance in groups. The playoffs will be held in the Double Elimination system, with stage one taking place 4-6th May in a studio format. The final matches are scheduled for 8-10th May 2020 in CSKA Arena (previously known as “VTB Ice Palace”) after a grand opening ceremony.

Dates and the format regarding EPICENTER Major open qualifiers will be disclosed in February 2020. The closed qualifiers will take place from 29 March through 1 April 2020.
