Season Zero of E1 Championship, the premier simulation racing (sim-racing) championship in the Asia Pacific, is flagging off this 19th November 2020 on eGG Network. Races will happen weekly at 10pm (GMT +8), with the final race slated for 21st January 2021.

All races will be broadcasted on eGG Network across all its channels in 8 countries, and will also be live-streamed on its Facebook page.

A roster featuring 22 of the region’s top sim-racers who will compete in a total of eight rounds on RaceRoom, covering some of the most challenging and iconic international tracks, starting with the Sepang International Circuit. The drivers’ physical endurance and mental strength will be tested. Each team has to drive the perfect racing line, as one-hundredth of a second can separate a runner up from a champion that takes home USD$5,000.

Among the participating drivers in Season Zero include some exciting future prospects, such as Malaysia’s Troy Eimann (age 17, National Karter in Rotax Max Asia), Ariff Azmi (age 14, 2019 Asian Rotax Max Junior Champion), and Naquib Azlan (age 20, ERGP Global Edition Runner Up and Malaysian representative in the 24 Hour Le Mans Virtual).

Australia is represented by 14-year old Kalen Chin (2016 ROK Cup Asia Vice Champion, Cadet) while Sri Lanka is represented by 13-year old Yevan David (2018 X30 Karting Asia Champion, Cadet).

The 120-minute long show will be hosted by Daniel Woodroof, with Alex Yoong alongside him as a panelist, while Dez Corkhill will be commentating on the races. Fans can catch all the action every Thursday at 10pm (GMT+8) on eGG Network’s channel that’s available in 8 countries, and on its Facebook livestream.
