The latest Counter-Strike 2 update has introduced interesting changes focused on improving the Demo Viewer, along with changes to Round Backup Rules.
The much-needed update has finally brought major improvements to the demo viewing experience in CS2. For starters, the demos will now have a progress bar allowing a seek function. Free and chase cameras are now enabled for paused demos, and controls will now have click-and-drag mechanics for easier access, which greatly helps with viewing angles.
The second highlight of the update is the change in Round Backup rules, as round backup files now require the -allow_round_backup_files server startup flag at the start of the game, should players need them. Complementing all of these are the micro-improvements and quality-of-life changes that often go unnoticed but play a huge role in making the game more appealing.
