NiKo and co. start off the series in the worst way possible, while B8 have secured an unexpected victory and are now brimming with confidence moving ahead in the series.

Despite winning the pistol round, the Falcons managed to drop the ball, leading to B8 taking over the game, as the Falcons only managed 3 rounds in the first half of the game. B8, having remained dominant in the first half, secured 9 rounds as the Falcons suffered a disastrous start to their major. While Falcons managed to pull a few rounds in the second half, B8 were far ahead of the game in the first half to win the match comfortably in the second half.
Falcons will now continue their run in Stage 2 of the Austin Major with a loss, and now they find themselves with a need for a flawless run, as more than two losses would translate to another early exit for NiKo.
