The PUBG Mobile World League, supposedly the second last stage of Tencent’s esports circuit alongside the Pro League for Americas has been postponed. PUBG Mobile released an official statement via their social media handles and made it clear that the health and safety of fans and crew is their prime concern.

the health and safety of players, teams, community fans, partners and staff are the first priority to PUBG Mobile Esports.

The decision to postpone and not continue with it as an online event like PMPL South Asia comes due to many reasons. The Pro League for Americas consists of teams from both, North, as well as South America and playing the event online, would cause major ping issues. Hence a decision to postpone the event till the calamity calms down is the best available action.

PUBG Mobile has not canceled the event but has merely postponed it and have already begun their search for ways in which the event can be initiated at its earliest.

PUBG Mobile Pro League South Asia is all set to kick-off on 19th March as an online event
