Amazon Prime Day: Amazon to offer more than 30 free games, including Mass Effect Legendary Edition to Prime Gaming Subscribers

The annual 2-day sales event, Amazon Prime Day, will officially kick off on July 12th and run through July 13th. While the event is a few weeks late this year, Amazon plans to make it bigger than ever for gamers and plans to offer various games and gaming-related deals starting June 21st leading upto the biggest offers on the Prime Day. 

As part of Amazon Prime Day, the e-commerce giant will start offering early deals starting tomorrow i.e. June 21st. Amazon plans to offer upto 25 games for free to Prime Gaming subscribers which will include titles like Metal Slug 2,  two King of Fighters, etc. Similar to previous events, for a limited time daily a new game or games will be available to claim for free.

The early deals will run until the actual Amazon Prime Day event where Amazon will offer bigger titles such as Bioware’s Mass Effect Legendary Edition. As for other titles, some leaks suggest that Prime Gaming subscribers will be able to claim two racing games — Grid Legends and Need for Speed Heat, as well as three Star Wars games — Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, and Star Wars Republic Commando.

Aside from free games, prime users will also get discounts on gaming peripherals and accessories. It is rumored that Amazon will offer its Luna controller for $39.99, a $30 discount from the usual $69.99 price.

For those unaware, the Luna controller is part of the Luna Cloud Gaming bundle and offers a near-zero latency input while gaming. This promotion will be available starting June 21st and run until July 13th.Â
