The North American organization, 100 Thieves is going to pull out their team from CSGO. What’s the reason behind such a decision?
According to Nadeshot, Founder & CEO of 100T, the CSGO scene will become heavily Europe-centric due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, some players won’t be able to stay in North America anymore due to travel bans and visa issues.
100 Thieves started playing CS in 2017 after signing Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles, Henrique “HEN1” Teles, and Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe. After that, 100T missed ELEAGUE Major Boston due to immigration issues. Because of that, the whole lineup failed to appear in the tournament. Although 100T turned around in 2019 after signing the Renegades’ lineup, they struggled in 2020. They didn’t even appear in the top 10 rankings in 2020.
Therefore, we won’t see 100T playing the next ESL Pro League and the other tournaments. What do you think of the reason behind Drake powered 100T’s CSGO departure? Let us know in the comment section below.
