Free Fire is about to launch its next big update and this new seasonal event will be titled ‘Project Cobra’. A major part of this event is going to be the launch of a new character named Shirou and several in-game events will be added along with new skins and exclusive seasonal content. Garena is also celebrating the announcement of being the most downloaded mobile game in 2020 and will hand over free rewards for this big achievement.
Garena Free Fire is a very famous mobile battle-royale title that offers a quirky style of in-game experience with various different elements that make it stand out from the crowd. This game has a wide variety of in-game characters, pets, and utilities that adds a new layer of personalization for each user.

Free Fire Project Cobra New Character: Shirou
After this character, Free Fire is now adding a completely new character named Shirou. The in-game description of this character, according to the advanced server description, is he is “The fastest delivery boy around” and his skill package will be around a similar theme. Shirou will become more appealing to its users as he gets stronger. The visual effects will be enhanced as it gets stronger and several ‘Cobra’ elements will be added to it.
Shirou will be the spotlight of the Project Cobra event in Free Fire but apart from that, a ton of new content is coming to the game. This new update will include a special interface, peak day activities, cumulative login events, and collecting Cobra coin tokens to exchange for Project Cobra-themed rewards.
Clash Squad Mode Changes:
The popular map that was recently added to Free Fire, Remastered Bermuda, will remain in-game for the next update as well. This map could be played in Battle-royale as well as the Clash Squad Mode. Some more changes are being implemented to Clash Squad mode as Free Fire will begin the Clash Squad Season 5 with the next big update. A new ‘Dynamic Duo’ mode will be introduced in Clash Squad mode.
Some minor changes will be made to Training Grounds as well but Garena has revealed that their social system will receive a major revamp this time. This change will make it easier to manage in-game requests while playing matches.
Free Fire Most Downloaded Game Celebration event
Free Fire was recently declared as the most downloaded game in 2020 and to celebrate this huge achievement, Garena has decided to give away some freebies to its loyal user base in the next few days. Players can log in to the game in the time duration of February 4th to 8th and claim several free items.
