Call of Duty: Mobile will be concluding its Season 13 in the next few weeks and like last time, the developers have promised to launch a preloaded beta version testing before the new update is completely released. In a community post addressing several issues, COD Mobile team has confirmed the release of Season 14 Public Beta Test.
A Public Beta Test application is a user-limited game in which several new features are added and some changes are made to COD Mobile and players get a chance to try this build and report back to the developers on their review of the game’s functionality and stability. For a title like COD Mobile, releasing a stable patch is very important.
The last seasonal update of COD Mobile was scrutinized for having innumerous bugs and glitches so this time, developers might implement a longer period of beta testing to make sure that glitches are not added to the game with Season 14 update.
The COD Mobile team posted a community update some days ago and in this post, they have confirmed that a new public beta test build will be out soon. It was also mentioned that it is not “normal kind[update] focused on testing modes, weapons, maps, and normal seasonal content.” This statement might suggest that COD Mobile is changing the ways in which the testing phases were taking place till now.
Earlier, the public build was only accessible to a selective few, based on first come first serve basis. When a designated amount of registrations were completed, the testing was closed publicly. If the team is making some changes apart from adding new features, it suggests that the approach of beta testing will be slightly or completely changed.
The release date for this public beta testing phase has not been revealed but similar to last season, players can expect to see the test build a week prior to the global release of COD Mobile Season 14.
