How to View Fortnite Replays?

Review Your Matches and Learn from Your Mistakes

Many gamers may not realize that they can watch match replays in Fortnite. The game includes a built-in feature that allows players to go back and review the entire match from different perspectives and angles.

This functionality is crucial for developing strategies and enhancing gameplay skills. In fact, most professional players take advantage of this feature after matches to analyze their opponents.

Coaching teams also utilize Fortnite replays to train their players and point out any mistakes made during the game. This process helps both coaches and players to refine their strategies and improve their performance in future matches. With that in mind, here’s how to access replays in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.

How to Watch Replays in Fortnite?

How to View Fortnite Replays

Follow the steps mentioned below to watch replays in the latest update of Fortnite:

Step 1

To get started, launch the game and head to the “Careers” section. It’s easy to locate, right next to the tab displaying your current V-Bucks balance. Once you’re there, click on the “Replays” option to see all the recent matches you’ve played.

Step 2

In the “Replays” section, you can choose which match to watch again. Keep in mind that replays may become corrupted or outdated when a new season starts. You can play an Unsaved Replay, but it’s a good idea to save it if you think you’ll need it later. When you’re ready, just click on any replay to get started.

Step 3

Once the replay is loaded, you’ll be able to watch Fortnite replays. You can look at the action from various angles, spectate other players, and access map details like player locations and their density at specific Points of Interest (POIs).

As mentioned, this feature is extremely helpful for analyzing matches and gaining valuable insights for improvement. For casual gamers, there’s also plenty to enjoy beyond just analysis.  You can disable the HUD to take beautiful screenshots without any user interface.

Depending on your game settings and the capabilities of your GPU (like the RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti), you can even capture 4K screenshots.  Lastly, watching replays in Fortnite can assist you in identifying and reporting hackers. It can be tough to spot them during a match because of their cheating — this footage can then be submitted to Epic Games for their banning.
