The event with NBA is set to go live in-game on Wednesday, May 12 at 8 AM ET | 5 AM PT, according to leaked intel from data miner ‘ShookPA.’ The duration of the crossover is however uncertain and we could only confirm when the official news comes out.Â
There has not been an official announcement by Epic Games, Although leaked files unveiled exactly how the NBA crossover is set to work in Fortnite.
 As soon as the event goes live, the players around the world will get to pick their favorite NBA team. Once the choice is locked in, gamers then earn points for their franchise by completing their daily tasks.Â
The final objectives of the game have not been released and the players will have to complete all their daily tasks which will earn them the Grand Champion Spray. It is likely that the top three NBA teams at the end of the event will secure some goodies for every player repping their banners.Â
