Tamil Nadu Government approves ordinance to ban online gaming

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s cabinet has approved an ordinance to ban online gaming within the state. According to government officials, the ordinance will be put into effect after getting approved by Governor R.N. Ravi.

A few months ago in June, M.K. Stalin announced a committee that was to be led by the former Judge of the Madras High Court, Justice K. Chandru. The committee was built to investigate the bad effects of online rummy as numerous people were falling into a debt trap by losing money on online games.

While the committee submitted a report to the Chief Minister within two weeks, School Education Department investigated the impact of online gaming on children and also took public opinions. Based on that, the Law Department constructed a draft ordinance.

The share price of Nazara Technologies also took a hit by the selling pressure as the Tamil Nadu government passed the ordinance. The share went down over 2 percent.

Electronic Arts recently launched the latest iteration of their flagship soccer game, FIFA. This new title debuted as FIFA 23 is now live as players having EA Play subscription can enjoy it via early access only. Here is how you can play FIFA 23 using the EA Play card.

EA has been marketing the launch of FIFA 23 in a very interesting way as every EA Play subscriber can play the game but the mode and duration varies. The official launch of the game will be done by 30th September and players owning the Ultimate Edition can access the entire game by 27th September.

Apart from this, every EA Play subscriber can currently play the trial of this game for ten hours from 26th September 2022. This allows the users to try the latest FIFA title and the interested ones are joining EA Play subscription, ultimately completing the marketing goal behind this campaign.

How to download and play FIFA 23

For now, every subscriber can fully download the game but their play time will be restricted to 10 hours. If you are looking to play FIFA 23 using EA Play, follow the steps given below to download the game and enjoy it:

  • Preload FIFA 23 on your playstation
  • Choose FIFA 23(trial) from your game library and click on three horizontal lines besides it
  • Select View Product and then click on Trial

After completing these simple steps, you can unlock the 10 hour trial of FIFA 23. A similar system is followed on XBOX as well. Here are the steps.

  • Search FIFA 23 and download it
  • Directly install and open the game to access 10 hour trial

First trailer for HBO’s ‘The Last of Us’ is out.

HBO published the first official trailer for “The Last of Us” on Monday, giving viewers their first look at the post-apocalyptic TV series. The first episode of the show will air in 2023.

“The Last of Us” features a hardened survivor named Joel, played by “The Mandalorian” star Pedro Pascal, as he travels across a U.S. destroyed by the cordyceps fungus. Along the journey, he travels with Bella Ramsey’s Ellie, who helps locate a cure for the zombie-like plague that has ravaged humanity.

The announcement of the new trailer took place on September 26, also known as Outbreak Day inside the “The Last of Us” community. According to the first version of the video game, the cordyceps fungus started to spread over the United States on September 26. The Last of Us day is an official fan celebration.

People that contract the cordyceps fungus and become afflicted mutate into shambling monsters known as clickers. They have an insatiable appetite for human flesh and their faces grow spores that look like mushrooms, and they get infected.

Valve is banning more than 300,000 players that cheated in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive as part of a VAC ban wave as part of its ongoing crackdown on malicious actors in the game.

CSGO is a popular shooter game that has lured millions of gamers. However, increased popularity spells hackers and cheaters who ruin the experience.

Paired with CSGO’s free-to-play status, the game is riddled with cheats, and Valve ignores it. On the other hand, the developer is now taking action against malicious actors and has banned thousands of hackers.

A new study from CSGOstats.gg has shown that the developer has banned over 304,000 cheats in just three months. This information was released in the report. This is one of several significant efforts to remove hackers from the game.

The online multiplayer game CSGO has a significant cheating problem that is frequently overlooked. Consequently, the number of hackers in CSGO has obviously risen over the years. Valve is finally taking action, according to Steam data.

According to CSGO numbers, the developer has been banning as many as 9,000 hackers every day. The constant pace has resulted in around 304,655 bans in the past three months. When taking into account the decline in CSGO’s player base that occurred in 2022, that is a really large figure.

While many have gone on to other games, others who still enjoy CSGO are forced to leave owing to blatant cheaters.

How Many People Are Playing CSGO Right Now?
