Natus Vincere vs Bad News Eagle Match Recap IEM Rio CSGO Major

The CIS Squad manage to remain alive to fight another day at the IEM : Rio CSGO Major 2022.

Natus Vincere has sent Bad News Eagles packing from the ongoing IEM : Rio CSGO Major 2022 and now sits 2-2 in the Legends Stage. They would now need to win their next match to qualify for the Champions Stage of the same.

Bad News Eagles who came into the Major with all of their guns blazing have been eliminated from the Major at the hands of Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and his men. They previously beat former reigning champions FaZe Clan to advance further into the Legends Stage when they were hanging 0-2 in the latter.

Below we have attached a quick recap of the happenings around the Na’Vi Vs Bad News Eagles game along with the Map Veto.

1. Bad News Eagles removed Overpass

2. Natus Vincere removed Vertigo

3. Bad News Eagles picked Ancient

4. Natus Vincere picked Nuke

5. Natus Vincere removed Inferno

6. Bad News Eagles removed Dust2

7. Mirage was left over

Map 1 : Ancient (Pick : Bad News Eagles, Winner : Natus Vincere, Final Score : 16:3)

Bad News Eagles felt constrained by beginning Ancient on the T side and having a difficult time generating any momentum on their assault. Natus Vincere got off to a flying start, going up 9-1 by s1mple terrorizing the Eagles with his AWP which indeed brushed the Kosovars back repeatedly.  As said, it was all attributed to s1mple’s stellar form with his AWP who looked in sublime form only to steer his team further into the Legends Stage. Despite the fact that the Eagles did discover advantages, they typically struggled to utilize them.

Ancient seemingly was a cake-walk for the Na’Vi side as they were able to get the best of the Bad News Eagles by calling dibs on the latter’s map pick in their favor, 16-3.

Map 2 : Nuke (Pick : Natus Vincere, Winner : Natus Vincere, Final Score : 16-9)

Nuke started off with both sides trading rounds back and forth as neither of them showed dominance going into the second map. It was Natus Vincere who claimed the first half of Nuke 8-7 thanks to the Denis ‘electroNic’ Sharipov and his heroics who put Na’Vi in a commanding position every time Bad News Eagles tried to surprise the CIS squad.

Nothing much Bad News Eagles could do in the second half of Nuke as Dionis “sinnopsyy” Budeci and his men looked destitute and listless fighting the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 Major winners. It was the duo of Viktor ‘sdy’ Orudzhev and Ilya ‘Perfecto’ Zalutskiy who locked the Eagles of the bomb sites and clinch the series 2-0 to avoid a shocking elimination.

Natus Vincere now waits for the Day 4 of the IEM : Rio CS:GO Major to conclude in order for their next match-up to be determined.

Cloud9 becomes the first team to qualify for Champions Stage at IEM Rio CSGO Major 2022

The North American-Russian squad has advanced onto the Champions Stage of the IEM Rio CSGO Major 2022 after toppling off Heroic.

Map Veto :

1. Cloud9 removed Nuke

2. Heroic removed Dust2

3. Cloud9 picked Vertigo

4. Heroic picked Inferno

5. Heroic removed Overpass

6. Cloud9 removed Mirage

7. Ancient was left over

Map : Vertigo (Pick : Cloud9, Winner : Cloud9, Final Score : 16-9)

C9 played Heroic in a best-of-three today. With the possibility of advancement to the playoffs on the line, this series offered significantly higher stakes for the C9 roster. Many expected Heroic and Cloud9 to have deep runs in Rio and during the legends stage. The Danish team had just beaten Outsiders 16-9 and Fnatic 16-2 in the Challenger series to get to the 2-0 group in hopes of punching their ticket to the playoffs.

The team was led by Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov, who knew the level of competition Heroic would bring. C9 won nine straight rounds on the T side of Vertigo, the pool’s most CT-sided map. An 11-4 CT half guaranteed the North American side the opening map despite Heroic’s efforts to chart a comeback. The Danes put up more 5 rounds on the board but were denied by Vladislav “nafany” Gorshkov and his men as Cloud9 cruised to a 16-9 victory.

Map : Inferno (Pick : Heroic, Winner : Cloud9, Final Score 16-9)

C9 snatched nine of the ten second-half T-side rounds and clinched a spot in the playoffs with a 16-9 victory over Inferno. All of this transpired in the blink of an eye.

The teams engaged in some force-buys back and forth in the early stages of Inferno, which Heroic won. Cloud9 put together a streak of four after the guns were brought back up, and it appeared as though they may go on to win the half. However, they botched chances against further low-eco buys, which ultimately allowed Heroic to secure a tight 8-7 victory in the first half.

Cloud9 began a calm and systematic offensive in the second period that picked apart Heroic’s CT side, making it impossible for the Danes to continue their resistance into the second period. Casper “cadiaN” Meller and the rest of his team were only able to win one round before Cloud9 ended the map with a 16-9 advantage.

Heroic would now lock horns with Team Liquid for yet another chance toward the Champions Stage of the IEM Rio CSGO Major 2022.

IEM Rio CS:GO Major Day 3 Recap and Round 4 Match-ups : Details inside

It is reasonable to say that nearly no one anticipated what has transpired up to this point, as the fourth round of the IEM Rio CS:GO Major Legends Stage is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 7.

FaZe Clan, the reigning Major champions and now the top-ranked team in the world is the first team eliminated from the Legends Stage. This is the first time a reigning Major champion has gone 0-3 in the next Major, as one of the favorites is out.

FURIA has surfed a wave of euphoria while on the shoulders of their fervent followers to a 3-0 record, ensuring that the Champions Stage will feature a squad that the home crowd will undoubtedly go bananas for.

Cloud9, who started the Challengers off with a record of 0-2, has staged comeback after comeback to drive itself into playoffs. This is the second team that has a perfect record of 3-0.

Every team in Legends got off to a slow start and has had a difficult beginning to their season overall. Team Liquid and Heroic were the only teams to conclude day two and round three with a good record. They will play each other in the 2-1 pool, and the outcome of the match will determine whether or not they advance to the Champions Stage.

In addition to Liquid’s matchup against Heroic, the underrated Mousesports roster will compete against Outsiders in the 2-1 pool. In the meanwhile, BIG, whose ears are probably still ringing first from the loss they sustained in front of their own fans against FURIA, will have another opportunity to advance to the playoffs against Fnatic.

After their crushing victory over FaZe, the Bad News Eagles face NAVI, another star-studded team that has been a former champion, and they will need lightning to knock twice in order to advance to the next round of the 1-2 pool.

ENCE will compete against Vitality, a team that has the ability to win the tournament but is still lacking in the consistency necessary to fully realize its potential. In the last matchup, Spirit will face Sprout, who just kept their tournament dreams alive with a decisive win over NiP in the 0-2 pool of round three. Sprout will be playing in the same pool as Spirit.

Sony is well-known for charging a premium for exclusive titles, but a subscription-based model would tempt many more people to buy a PlayStation. Their business is primarily built on game surcharges to offset the loss they incur from hardware sales.

Liqudi vs Natus Vincere IEM Rio CSGO Major Recap

The third round of the IEM Rio CS:GO Major kicked off with Natus Vincere locking horns with Team Liquid, their first-ever official with Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis who was officially signed into the team prior to the start of the major.

Below you can find the Map Veto between these two teams alongside a summary of how things unfolded going ahead into the day.

Map: Ancient (Leftover in the pool, Winner: Team Liquid, Final Score: 16:14)

Natus Vincere got off to a flawless start going up 8-3 early into the game. Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella and his men felt destitute and listless as the reinforcements set by Denis “electroNic” Sharipov and Valerii “b1t” Vakhovskyi in particular caused Liquid a lot of trouble in opening up sites for the C4 business.

With Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev packing up the North Americans while on a B-site attempt, Natus Vincere found themselves in the driver’s seat and poised to run away with Ancient as they ended the first half 12-3.

After a pistol round and a subsequent conversion, Liquid indeed found its rhythm with Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski taking up the mantle to replicate the same situation for Natus Vincere. It all came down to the score tied up 13-13 as it was Joshua “oSee” Ohm who closed out the game with a kill with his sniper and a defuse to go 2-1 up in the Legends Stage of the IEM: Rio CS:GO Major 2022

ESL removes Sadokist from IEM Rio Major after alleged altercation

ESL has officially removed the Canadian CSGO commentator Matthew “Sadokist” Trivett from the IEM Rio Major talent lineup. He will no longer be able to take part in the Brazil Major.

According to sources, ESL took this decision after Sadokist went into an altercation in the hotel while being under influence which called for the emergency service.

We can confirm that an incident took place last night involving Sadokist. As a result of this, Anders has stepped in to commentate for the remainder of the tournament. We have no further comments and would like the focus to remain on the competition.

ESL

However, Sadokist didn’t comment anything regarding this incident.

Surprisingly, Sadokist was missing from the first day of IEM Rio Major while the popular CSGO caster Anders Blume took over his duty and started casting with Jason “moses” O’Toole. Previously, Anders was working as a Skybox telestrator.

This is not the first time for Sadokist. He was involved in another incident a few years ago. In 2018, Sadokist got banned by Twitch due to inappropriate behavior and the use of racial slurs.
