Team LDLC shuts

While the French association’s squads have discovered what’s coming to them of progress — LDLC White won Assembly Winter 2016 and LDLC Blue won Underdogs Season 2 — the organization is better known for its past program, which now plays as Team EnVyUs. nV’s present lineup flew the Team-LDLC standard amid DreamHack Winter 2014, where they crushed Ninjas in Pajamas 2-1 to take the Major title.

LDLC Blue’s chief, Grégory “geekory” Caboche, said in an announcement that the choice to break up the groups was mixed.

“It’s not with trouble that I keep in touch with this message, a remarkable inverse!” he said. “The enterprise ought to end one day, this will undoubtedly happen, simply an issue of time. This adventure in Team-LDLC closes today.

“What Team-LDLC give us is precious. The opportunity to remain nearby this structure was a remunerating knowledge.”

It’s obscure whether the squads will keep on playing as independents. Additionally not specified in the public statement is regardless of whether LDLC’s ladies’ squad, LDLC Female, is influenced by this choice.

TyLoo knocks out Luminosity from DreamHack Malmö

2

TyLoo have knocked out the 2-week-ago champions of MLG Columbus, Luminosity from DreamHack Masters Malmö with a 2-1 triumph in the decider match (16-14 on Cache, 7-16 on Overpass and 16-12 on Inferno).

With the map cache, TyLoo began dominating at the very first two rounds of the half in the wake of denying Luminosity section into the B bombsite during eco rounds. A third-round purchase from Luminosity paid profits and controlled the Brazilians to string six adjusts together – their brightest spell on the guide. After an eco round, TyLoo hit back on a full purchase and took after that up with an insane round from Wu, who won a 1vs3 grip inside B.

The Brazilian group surrendered one more round before taking two in succession, making it 14-9 to support them. After a strategic respite and a triple execute from HaoWen “somebody” Xu, TyLoo went on a fabulous run, winning seven rounds in succession to secure the guide 16-14.

The second map, was Overpass, and the primary half was a finished victory as Luminosity raged to a 9-1 lead tailing some awesome Terrorist play. TyLoo then at long last figured out how to keep down the Brazilians in the wake of calling a timeout, taking an aggregate of four rounds before the end of the half.

Everything came down to Inferno, where TyLoo got out to a 4-0 begin as Luminosity attempted to stay aware of the pace of the Chinese. The accompanying round then went the Brazilians’ way, yet TyLoo recaptured control of the game and kept on racking up rounds till they finished off the final game at 16-12 in their favor.

Team MxB takes the charge to lead India at PGL KeSPA Asia Minor Qualifiers

1

As good as it may feel, India’s one of the top Counter Strike: Global Offensive lineups, Team MxB are ready to take the lead India into the PGL KeSPA Asia Minor Qualifiers after Brutality, D5, Overcome and Scorchers were unsuccessful in putting together.

Team MxB, the semi-consistent roster leaded by Bhavin ‘HellRangeR’ Kotwani are into the quarter finals of the PGL KeSPA Asia Minor qualifiers hosted by SoStronk. The roster which formed not before a week ago managed to eliminate some of the top CSGO rosters of our country with international level skilled players and even gave a tough fight to the UAE stars Riskygaming.

We managed to catch-up with Mohit ‘Spawn’ Wakle, who shared the team’s graceful win over some of the top notch players and the experience that followed with the participation.

Team MxB
Placed 2nd with Mixed MxB at Tranzaneca Gaming League.

Arpita Tewari: Hi Mohit, tell our readers a little bit about yourself and your association with Team MxB.

Hey! Great to be here, this is Mohit from Team MxB, I joined the team recently.. like a week back, been a CSGO player for a year and was formerly playing Condition Zero (6 years+ :P).

Our lineup for the event was Bhavin “HellrangeR” Kotwani, Shailesh “Blackhawk” Dalvi, Akshay “Kappa” Sinkar, Mohit “Spawn” Wakle, Tapan “Yoshimitsu” Potnis.

AT: A week! that’s very least compared to your performance at the PGL Asia qualifiers. You faced and beat India’s current-best lineup, Team Scorchers, was it an extra-ordinary effort from your side or it was just your day?

They were good but maybe it wasnt their day, we got some crucial rounds, we never played the map (overpass) together, nor we had any extraordinary strategy. Our IGL was doing a great job and we were sticking to the basics.

AT: You were playing at a godspeed with some 30+ odd frags, did that change the scenario?

No.. actually it is a team game and we were playing just like one.. we don’t care about the number of kills or scores.. we knew what our bottom-fragger was doing and were happy with everyone’s performances.

AT: You comfortably beat Scorchers, what do you think about Brutality?

They are a great team.. they play great at every level.. just that we had our day.. and yes we wish to play against Brutality to contest our skillset and be certain about how well we give our opponents a rough.. competition.

AT: That’s very sporty! Other than Scrochers, which other teams did you face?

Before scorchers, we played 3 teams, MYC , Accuracy and DNA, where we beat them 16-5, 16-4 and 16-3 respectively, and yes we felt very confident then. 🙂

AT: It was a never-seen journey, I mean, nobody saw this coming from your team at this Minor even when bigger teams were present. Where do you see yourself from hereon?

I actually don’t know, we haven’t  decided anything yet something. we will let everyone know when it is finalized, i think i still lack alot on lan aswell as individual play I need to improve.

AT: What do you think is the key to beating such professionals at this stage, you got eliminated at the door of success, what will you do to improve yourself the next time you play at this stage?

First of all, fix a roster, practice hard on a lot of things, improve basics .. and with a good team .. maybe we can achieve. first of all need to fix lineup that’s the key.
There are alot of roster shuffle, sometimes they are good, but most of the time arent helpful to our community and the respective teams.

AT: How was your experience overall at this event?

It was a great experience overall.. playing and beating the top team in India surely gives you a lot of confidence to practice hard and be better the next time.. also shootout to the other players and teams.. coming forward and actively participating in these events.. SimpleX.G is one of those good teams which recently formed and are practicing a lot and hard with their lineup.

AT: Well, thank you Mohit for sharing your experience with us, it was great to have you with us. Good luck, practice hard and get better results the next time. Till then, Adios!

Pleasure talking to you, apologizes if I was bit rude. Feels good sharing my thoughts and experience with a larger audiences, Thanks and keep it up. Our community needs more like you. To make an impact further at a larger stage.

Edit: While writing this, Team MxB gave a tough fight to Riskygaming and were defeated by them with a scoreline of 16/10.

Cloud9 roster change, fREAKAZOiD departs, adreN steps in as a stand-in

0

Reported by the team manager itself initially, Cloud9’s fREAKAZOiD is no more a part of the active Counter Strike: Global Offensive roster, he will however remain in contract with Cloud9 till the early 2017 as a part of the contract. Team Liquid’s adreN will be stepping in to complete the lineup as reported by Tres ‘stunna’ Saranthus.

Cloud9 roster change

With no details whatsoever or any controversial upbringing, Cloud9 has announced the departure of fREAKAZOiD from their official CSO roster, this Cloud9 roster change was not foreseen, and comes as a shocker for everyone. The reason of the departure however isn’t yet clear.

We have tried to contact the management to get a clear vision of the picture as of why the change was made, but haven’t got any response as of publishing this article.

Cloud9 roster change

Tres ‘stunna’ Saranthus, in a press release on Cloud9’s official website acknowledged the extended support from Team Liquid and adreN:

“In light of this adjustmenet, the team will be using in Eric ‘adreN’ Hoag of Team Liquid (@TeamLiquidPro) as a stand-in. We would like to thank Team Liquid for this gesture!”

This change is getting a mixed response from the community, a part of it is supporting fREAKAZOiD and wondering if this is related to his personal life, whereas a section of gamers are criticizing him as an individual and human being, and clearly are happy with his departure from the roster. Earlier, he was ridiculed for bullying ‘s1mple’ in his stream during a live match, for which whole of Cloud9 management apologized.

It even can be the role of this incident, which has played part in this unfortunate event, but as delayed it may seem to be, Tres, would have mentioned this in the official release instead he choose to keep this under a hood and ask anybody who wanted to know to email him separately at [email protected].

Final Thoughts

Keeping in mind the name-tag of the segment, Biostar made the Racing B150GT5 a mainstream board for regular users and high-end usage which means, there is not much to tweak other than what’s already available from the manufacturer. If you are a high-end user with no intentions of tweaking or overclocking, this defines the product. For much to grab the attention and added feather to the cap, an extra LED strip is spared in the box which can be connected to the headers. The base clock however, differed while comparing it with Gaming Z170X which had values over 100Mhz of the CPU frequency. But as said, the difference in performance of the board is inconsequential.

DSC00148_compressed

Other than another board look, we could see a re-skin of the UEFI interface, and RACING B150GT5 does likewise accompany a RACING GT programming, which permits us to perform more conformists, incorporating work with the LED setup (Vivid LED DJ). So far we have seen that the LED setup from RACING GT application is somewhat risky in light of the fact that it doesn’t fill in as it ought to (blending between modes, does not spare settings, tossing a blunder at startup) furthermore it is 100% subject to the applications, implying that in the event that you don’t utilize the application, you won’t have the capacity to turn on the LEDs.

We have proposed a few arrangements like the incorporation of the LED setup inside UEFI, yet we were informed that with the present equipment setup it is unrealistic. We do expect an overhauled RACING GT application which will illuminate the “invalid pointer” blunder and will make sparing of profiles inside the application conceivable.

Congressman accused of spending $1300 campaign funds on Steam games

0

Rep. Congressman, Duncan Hunter, from California, a.k.a. The Vaping Congressman, spent $1,302 on Steam Games from October 13 to December 16 according to the filing, a “personal expense — to be paid back.” According to year-end financial disclosure.

The Federal Election Commission submitted a letter to Hunter’s campaign treasurer on Monday asking for further explanation.

The letter also raised questions about a payment of $1,650 in September to Christian Unified Schools of El Cajon, which Hunter’s spokesman, Joe Kasper, said was a donation misidentified as a personal expense.

Multiple transactions made on credit card by his son

According to The San Diego Union-Tribune reports, Joe Kasper, Congressman Hunter’s spokesman, the congressman’s teenage son used his father’s credit card for one game. Several unauthorized charges resulted after the congressman tried to close access to the website.

Kasper said that Congressman Hunter is trying to have the unauthorized charges reversed before repaying his campaign account.

The Congressman’s Spokesman said,“There won’t be any paying anything back there, pending the outcome of the fraud investigation, depending on how long that takes.”

In 2013, Hunter wrote a passionate op-ed for Politico defending the value of video games against their haters. “With fingers pointing in nearly every direction, video games are often, but wrongly, identified as a catalyst for violence.”

Unfortunately, the year-end disclosures do not identify what games Congressman Hunter was accidentally paying for, or why he (or his son) paid so much for them. The FEC has allowed the congressman time until 9th May to respond.
