List Of PlayStation Plus games for December 2022

Subscription services for video games have grown in popularity recently. This subscription-based business model has gained prominence recently. Everyone saw the actual potential of the Xbox Game Pass after its launch and how it may be a more affordable option for both users and developers. As a result, Sony introduced PlayStation Plus, and here is a list of all PlayStation Plus games for December 2022.

While most games aren’t really interesting, some of them are legitimate AAA blockbusters that would have seriously hurt our budget if we had purchased them ourselves. Owners of the pass receive access to the game for a whole month. Considering that most players can leisurely finish an average AAA story-driven game in a month.

Although Sony is renowned for charging extra for exclusive games, a subscription-based business model might entice many more individuals to purchase a PlayStation. They rely heavily on game surcharges to make up for the loss they suffer from hardware sales.

0

The patch notes for Valorant 5.12 PBE are out, and it is introducing some significant changes to the competitive shooter.

Let’s take a look at everything that has been revealed in the patch notes for Valorant 5.12 PBE.

Valorant 5.12 PBE Patch Notes: What’s New

The patch notes for the Valorant PBE update have been revealed by Riot Games in a Reddit thread today. Here’s what it will bring to the game:

AGENT UPDATES

We’ve increased the point costs of the Agent Ultimates that have large, site-wide footprints. We’ve also made a tuning pass on Agent ability economy.

Damage-over-time area abilities (like Brimstone’s Incendiary and Viper’s Snakebite) now damage enemy utility (read more in the Gameplay Systems Updates), so we’ve increased the health of 1hp destructibles so that they aren’t instantly vaporized—but can still be destroyed by one-shot in most situations.

    • Ultimate Points increased 7 >>> 8

    • Chamber no longer incurs an additional cooldown when recalling his Anchor after teleporting.
    • Health decreased 80 >>> 50
  • Trademark (C)
    • The trap is now range restricted

How these changes will impact the competitive meta of Valorant still remains to be seen.

Valorant Competitive Map Pool Rotation Explained

In a recent announcement, Riot Games confirmed that it’d be removing Bind and Breeze from their flagship FPS Valorant in a future update while adding the now-removed map Split back to the competitive map pool. This has left many Valorant players confused about the ongoing map pool rotation. Let’s take a moment to look at the Valorant competitive map pool rotation and how it works.

Back in June 2022, the developers stated that they would maintain seven maps in the active map pool of Valorant. With the removal of Split, the maps that remained in the competitive map pool are as follows:

  • Ascent
  • Bind
  • Haven
  • Icebox
  • Breeze
  • Fracture
  • Pearl

These maps are currently a part of the active pool, but that’s set to change in the near future.

As confirmed by the devs, Valorant patch 6.0 will mark the return of Split to the game, while Bind and Breeze will be removed. Since the next Episode is also expected to bring with it a new Valorant map, it, along with Split, will add to the five pre-existing maps to complete the seven-map pool of the game.

This has been done to help players adjust to the constantly growing meta of the shooter while not overburdening them with the pressure of learning all the maps in the game.

The devs have confirmed that Breeze and Bind are set to return to the game at some point in the future. The earliest date that fans can hope to see the two maps return is about six months from the release of patch 6.0.

Global Esports To Explore Bootcamp Options Due to Visa Issues

Global Esports CEO Rushindra Sinha has disclosed that Global Esports’ current roster might face Visa limitations if they had to bootcamp in South Korea.

On his YouTube livestream on December 2, Dr. Rushindra Sinha addressed some of the Valorant team’s difficulties. His webcast was titled “Change in plans….. Hurdles,” and he broadcasted it.

Riot Games confirmed the 30 teams competing in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023 in September. The only team from South Asia or India to have successfully secured a spot on this list was Global Esports.

After the franchise team list was released, Sinha went live on YouTube to announce that the club would transfer to South Korea for the VCT 2023. Sinha announced in a November webcast that the organization would shift to its South Korean bootcamp by early December.

Sinha disclosed in this livestream that Global Esports’ professional Valorant players are having visa troubles entering South Korea and that the organization is searching for other bootcamp possibilities. After that, he addressed his audience, responded to their questions, and then disclosed the subsequent step that Global Esports will do.

Sinha mentioned in the 2nd December livestream, “As of the last meeting, we have been told once we apply for the E-6 Visa, which is the Korean work visa, the players will not be able to leave the country for six to eight weeks. It is similar to the USA’s work visa H1B. Once you are done with stamping, you can’t leave or enter the country.”

Citing the current Visa troubles, Global Esports might weigh upon striking off Thailand as their next plausible venue to set up shop. This could be achieved with the help of Skyesports India who recently inaugurated its office in Bangkok. A trip to Thailand was also teased by Mr. Shiva Nandy, CEO of Skyesports.

It was also stated that the team is considering visa-neutral bootcamp options due to travel limitations.

As a result, players would not have to be concerned about obtaining a work visa or anything else while they are practicing for the tournament that will start off the season in Brazil. Sinha also said the team will likely move to its South Korean bootcamp after the VCT 2023 Kick-Off Tournament in São Paulo, Brazil.

Valorant Map Split To Return In 2023

0

Riot Games is ringing in the year 2023 with a whole new map rotation. The much-loved map Split will be returning to Valorant in the update 6.0 that will be released in January; unfortunately, in order to make room for it, two other maps will be removed.

Some of the staples in the collection have been reworked to accommodate the addition of new maps to the rotation. They have had the sightlines surrounding them altered, new angles opened up looking into the spike sites, and new routes introduced to get around them.

The developers also changed the eight-map strong pool by taking maps out of rotation and maintaining a seven-map rotation. Fans were disappointed that Split was the final map to be removed from the rotation, as it was one of their favorites. Despite this, it will be back in action in a matter of time after being put on hold for a period of six months.

Split Valorant

“Split is back! We know a lot of you were sad to see this one go, so we’re very happy to bring this back to you all (with a few updates as well…) Not a lot to add here really,” Riot’s Joe “Pearl Hogbash” Lansford stated.

With the adjustments introduced in Patch 6.0, Split is once again playable in Valorant.

That’s right, Riot Games has announced that the much-loved map will be making a comeback in January, which is when patch 6.0 will be made available to players.

However, the return of Split will result in the removal of Bind and Breeze from both the Unrated and Competitive game modes. This change is necessary in order to make room for Split. They will, however, continue to be playable in the Spike Rush mode as well as in custom games.

“Lots of you wanted it back and it makes sense with the other pool shifts. We’re looking forward to seeing how everyone plays the map with all the new Agents and meta shifts that have happened since Split left the rotation.”

As we have seen in the past, maps that are taken out of rotation are not permanently removed from the game; rather, they do eventually make a comeback. On the other hand, it will be fascinating to watch Riot manage the transition from having just one map on the sidelines to having two of them.

In a new blog post, maps and modes design head Joe Lansford says Split will return with “a few tweaks,” which will be outlined in the Valorant patch 6.0 notes.

Bind and Breeze will be removed from the rotation in exchange for Split’s reintroduction to the Valorant maps pool for competitive play.

Lansford further added, “For Breeze, we believe like this map has some opportunity to develop in terms of agents and team comp diversity, as well as some opportunities for streamlining of the space. And for Bind, it’s really about ensuring that they have enough strategic variety. We’d like to open up play around the teleporters and possibly reconsider how teams execute and defend against executes on both sites.”

Given that Riot Games published Pearl alongside patch 5.0 for Valorant, it would appear that the company is planning to follow a similar release schedule for the upcoming Valorant map, which will arrive alongside patch 6.0.

Although the new map and its release date have not been officially announced by the developer, it seems likely that there will be a fresh fight ground for players to compete in sometime in the new year.

Valorant: Phoenix’ Blaze Ability Will Cost You Lesser Now

0

A massive Valorant patch is coming soon, and while it won’t add maps or Agents, it will drastically change Agent utility. The Valorant Public Beta Environment (PBE) server has been updated with many enhancements that will be tested in the next weeks. Even if only half of them are successful, it might significantly alter the metagame in some way.

The vast majority of the adjustments are mostly a bunch of nerfs, although there are also some buffs included in the update. The whole breakdown may be found below, however, please keep in mind that these adjustments have not yet been made publically.

They are subject to modification based on the results of their test on the PBE. The well-known data miner ValorLeaks provided TalkEsport with the following information, which was brought to the company’s attention:

VALORANT’s exec released the 5.12 Public Beta Environment patch notes tonight, listing a wide list of agent changes that PBE players will test this weekend. In addition to the improvements made to agent abilities, “major game system enhancements” and a minor adjustment have been made to the Spectre.

The rising costs of several ultimates that have “large, site-wide footprints” is one of the primary focal issues that has been addressed by the agent updates. The ultimate cost of Breach, KAY/O, and Viper has increased by one point, bringing it to a total of eight.

Other changes to Viper’s Pit reduce its effectiveness. The five-second recharge period for smoke integrity has been extended to 25 seconds, and the time spent outside the pit has been reduced by around half.

A great number of agents who have abilities that can be deployed will see those abilities acquire a health buff. Cypher’s Trapwire, KAY/ZERO/POINT O’s knife, Killjoy’s Nanoswarm, Raze’s Blast Pack, Sova’s Recon Bolt, and Chamber’s Trademark now have 20 points of health instead of just one.

The most recent recruit, Harbor, will get an upgrade that will make him a more useful agent. The duration of his High Tide water wall has been increased to 15 seconds from merely 12 seconds, and the duration of his Cascade water wall has been increased to seven seconds from five seconds.

The health of Fade’s Prowler has been reduced, the health of Killjoy’s Lockdown device has been increased, the cost of Omen’s Paranoia has been reduced, the health of Raze’s Boom Bot has been reduced, and the cost of Phoenix’s Blaze has been reduced.

Sage’s Barrier Orb now has a longer delay before it begins to fortify, and the healing orb now heals her teammates more than it does herself. Skye’s Trailblazer has a higher cost, while her Regrowth has a lower cost. Although Yoru’s Gatecrash has a lower health total, it also has a lower mana cost.

“Abilities that output damage will now universally damage enemy objects that can be damaged,” which applies to all agents collectively. This change was made. In practice, an enemy piece of utility can be damaged by any ability that delivers damage, provided that the ability itself deals damage.

The damage range that the Spectre deals have, at long last, been adjusted. Body shots deliver 26 damage to targets within 15 meters of the shooter. From 15 to 30 meters, 22 damage is dealt. In addition, if you are further away than 30 meters, the gun will deliver 20 damage.

Valorant Rank Distribution: October 2022

0

Valorant is currently one of the biggest competitive shooters in the world of video games, and millions of players tune into the title each day to refine their skills and get better at the game while competing against others in 5v5 games.

It goes without saying that a competitive game like this also requires a rock-solid ranking system that correctly grades its players based on their skill level. Riot Games’ ranking system for Valorant consists of several rank groups, where each rank group is further divided into three subgroups which the players must cross to proceed to the next skill level.

The rank groups consist of Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Ascendant, Immortal, and Radiant. The Radiant is the highest attainable rank in the game and is the only rank that doesn’t include any sub-ranks.

It’s important to note that not all players can participate in ranked Valorant games. Players need to be at least level 20 in Valorant to unlock ranked mode in the shooter.

Pokimane Panics As Apple Watch Notification Pops Up During Livestream

0

During one of her recent livestreams, Twitch star Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys found herself panicking as a notification popped up on her Apple Watch.

Pokimane was in the middle of browsing through a Spotify playlist and reading out the names of its songs to her chat on her November 27 livestream, when a sudden notification from her Apple Watch sent her into a frenzy.

Fearing that the Apple Watch might be leaking her sensitive information, the 26-year-old was swift to silence it.

“Shut the f**k up, please!” Pokimane exclaimed. “That scared me so much!”

Pokimane then proceeded to explain the reason behind her reaction.

“That was my Apple Watch! Who the f**k asked you?” she said. “Stuff like this, like, it frightens me so intensely, because… like, you know how people sometimes try to trick your Alexa and stuff just to say your address? It freaks me out.”

Previously, we have seen several big streamers getting their home addresses or other sensitive details leaked in the same manner.

Fortunately, Pokimane was quick enough to shut her Apple Watch down and no personal details of hers were leaked by the device in this incident.
