MLT Esports was handed their second loss by Gods Reign as they lost 13-8 and 13-2 from them. The first map still went a bit close, but the second map was finished dominatingly by Gods Reign.

All the members of GDR seemed to out-aim the players in MLT, with their insane retakes and defenses. The first half finished with a dominating score of 10-2. 

The pistol was won by MLT, thanks to the triple kill by Venka2cold. They managed to bring in 4 rounds consecutively and tried to pull a comeback but GDR managed to stop them in their tracks and close the map at 13-8. Autumn was the MVP with an ACS of 307.

Again GDR won the pistol round, not giving MLT any space to breathe. They even managed to convert their bonus round in 3 vs 5 situations, weakening the mental strength of MLT. Hoax managed to get a triple kill on his bulldog. MLT secured the 5th round thanks to Badlove’s triple kills, but that was the end of it. GDR did not drop a single round after that, completing the half at 11-1. Tixx clutched a 1 vs 2 as well as Vibhorr clutched a 1 vs 3 situations, showing the lack of synergy between the players of MLT. 

MLT seemed to try and gain momentum by winning the pistol round with Badman getting the triple kill, but GDR kept their terror alive as they won their eco round against MLT, with Vibhor getting a triple kill. They closed the map on 13-2, with pure domination with an insane performance by Vibhorr on Killjoy, scoring an ACS of 409. Pearl seems to be a very strong map of GDR, and today’s performance might lead future opponents of GDR to ban Pearl against them.

On Icebox, Medal won the pistol round, showing promising control on the map, with Tricky getting a triple kill. Medal got a thrifty win in round 5. Despite playing well, they managed to throw away their lead to OG, finishing the half in OG’s favor as 7-5. At 11-8, Azys got an amazing ace on Jett. However, Medal won 13-9 as they started by winning the pistol round again and Kakarot got multiple frags in multiple rounds. They won on OG’s map pick, giving them the confidence they needed to go into map 3.

OG showed early dominance as they won the pistol and just gave away the bonus round and went up to the scoreline of 8-1. Rawfiul got multiple frags on the attacker side, giving OG the man advantage they needed to enter the site. Medal gained momentum pretty late into the half, finishing it at 4-8. But they couldn’t carry forward this momentum into the other half as they lost the pistol round and couldn’t win a single round on the attacking side, with OG winning the last map at the scoreline of 13-4. Azys went crazy on Skye, getting a KDA of 18/8/6.

European esports organization, Heroic, has announced that it has raised enough funds to keep its business operations afloat for the time being. The organization revealed in a general meeting on Monday that it was able to issue 10 million preference shares at NOK 1 ($0.095) each, raising a total of NOK 10 million ($0.95 million). The new shares were made available to select investors and existing shareholders holding 5,000 or more shares in the company.

The funds raised are not enough to address all of Heroic’s challenges, but it is sufficient to prevent an immediate catastrophe. Heroic had previously stated that it needed to raise NOK 80 million ($7.60 million) by the end of 2025 to continue operating, with a minimum of NOK 10 million required before the summer of 2023.

This is not the first time that Heroic has attempted to raise funds through a general meeting. In a previous meeting on March 20, the organization had set a target of NOK 12 million to NOK 20 million, with each share priced at NOK 2 ($0.19).
