Best Defenders in FIFA 23 FUT for June 2023

0

Having effective defenders is crucial in FIFA 23 as they play a vital role in preventing goals and thwarting enemy attacks. To assist players in their gameplay and establish a formidable defense, we have compiled a list of the top-tier center-backs (CBs) that should be deployed in Ultimate Team.

The list of players comes from a wide range of price tags that can give you plenty of choices in case you are in the market looking for a defender.

Top 5 Defenders in FIFA 23

  1. António Silva
António Silva, a young Portuguese player, has shown great development and played a significant role in Benfica’s journey to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals and the Portugal National team where he has earned a spot alongside Ruben Dias. Many top clubs have taken notice of Silva, indicating a promising future for the center-back. In FIFA 23, his rating has increased to 77, but considering his potential, his Career Mode rating is 88, making him a valuable player to consider adding to your team.
  2. William Saliba
William Saliba was a crucial player for Arsenal so much so that their season collapsed when he was sidelined due to an injury. Arguably the best young center-back available in FIFA 23’s Career Mode, Saliba has a rating of 83 in FIFA 23, with a potential of 89. You cannot go wrong with him in your defense.
  3. Joško Gvardiol
Joško Gvardiol has gained recognition as one of the world’s top defenders and is potentially on his way to Manchester City for the next season after he played a crucial role in Croatia’s impressive display at the FIFA World Cup 2022. Gvardiol has a rating of 82, with a high potential of 89 and his being significantly young makes his high price tag worth paying.
  4. Nico Schlotterbeck
Nico Schlotterbeck is an integral part of Borussia Dortmund with a rating of 82 and has the potential to increase it to 87 in Career Mode. His left-footed defensive skills make him a valuable asset and a top choice for your team with the lack of top-quality left-footed CB for those of you wanting to play out the back.
  5. Gonçalo Inácio
Gonçalo Inácio is another talented Portuguese defender rising up the ranks in Sporting CP with a rating of 79, with a high potential of 88. With a price tag of around €50-55 million, he would be an excellent addition to your defensive line. With time, his rating is expected to reach the mid-80s.

YouTube channel Smosh is back after 6 years

Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox, two creators who defined an era on YouTube, are reintroducing the “classic” version of Smosh which was arguably the most popular channel on the platform back in the day.

After Anthony’s departure from the project in 2017 due to creative disagreements following its acquisition by Defy Media, fans can now look forward to the return of the comedy sketches and improv content that defined Smosh.

For those who have been avid YouTube users over the past decade, Smosh has been a familiar presence since its inception as a website in 2002 and the subsequent launch of its YouTube channel in 2005.

In a YouTube video, Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox announced the comeback. They promised to enter a new era that will bring back everything that made people fall in love with Smosh. They bought Smosh back from Rhett and Link and now look to independently operate it.

“Ian and I started hanging out a ton, and we realized the sketches that we’d made weren’t just great because they were a product of the times,” Anthony explained. “I wasn’t just being blinded by nostalgia when I would go back to get a laugh at the old videos. They were a reflection of the magic that we felt when we were making something together.”

“So, we came up with the totally insane idea of, ‘What if we bought Smosh?’” Ian continued. “We didn’t know if this was actually possible, but we felt that we had to look into it and see if we could actually do it.”

Keep tabs on their social to find out when the first video of the new Smosh era drops and of course we will be there to report it when it does happen.
