How to Switch Fortnite Accounts?

0

Since its inception in 2017, Fortnite has evolved from a PC-only game to a multi-platform sensation. As the game gained popularity, players began accessing their accounts across multiple gaming systems, necessitating the ability to log out or switch accounts.

Whether you’re sharing a system with a sibling or just want to secure your account after a gaming session, here’s how to log out of Fortnite on PC, Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation.

How to Switch Fortnite Accounts?

Fortnite introduced a logout button for console players during Chapter Two, season five. To log out, simply open your settings, navigate to the ‘Account and Privacy’ tab, and select ‘Logout.’ Fortnite will automatically log you out and shut down the game.

The account hub on the Fortnite and Epic Games websites allows players to manage their accounts across all logged-in platforms. To log out, visit epicgames.com, sign in to your account, click on your username, and select ‘Account.’ Navigate to the ‘Connections’ tab and select ‘Accounts.’ Here, you can connect or disconnect from all platforms that Fortnite is available on.

This method is exclusive to PC players who use the Epic Games launcher to play Fortnite. To log out, close the game, and the Epic Games launcher should reappear. Click on your username, located at the bottom left corner of the launcher, and select ‘Sign Out.’ You will be signed out of your Epic Games account, and consequently, Fortnite.

Use one of the aforementioned techniques to log out of your current account, then log in to the one you want to switch to. You must start the game, select “Link an account,” enter the code online, and then sign into your new account in order to link accounts on consoles.

Logging out of your account after each session is a good practice, especially if you share your gaming devices with others. It prevents unauthorized access to your account and unmonitored V-Bucks spending. Regularly changing your password is also a good security measure as it logs you out of all devices you’ve logged into Fortnite on, ensuring your account’s safety.

FaZe Clan in Talks with Two Potential Buyers: Report

0

FaZe Clan, a Los Angeles-based esports and lifestyle organization, is reportedly considering acquisition offers from GameSquare and Enthusiast Gaming. As one of the world’s leading esports organizations, FaZe Clan’s potential acquisition could mark a significant shift in the esports landscape.

According to sources close to the process, FaZe Clan is currently in discussions with both GameSquare and Enthusiast Gaming. Any potential deal is likely to involve an equity swap and a possible cash infusion, providing a much-needed financial boost for the organization.

Despite generating a record $70 million in revenue, FaZe Clan reported a net loss of $53.2 million for 2022. This financial instability comes after the company’s public listing on the Nasdaq exchange, following a SPAC-merger deal valued at $725 million. However, the company’s stock has since plummeted, leading to a deficiency notice from Nasdaq.

GameSquare, the owner of esports organization Complexity, has expressed interest in acquiring FaZe Clan. Complexity competes in various games, including CS:GO, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Valorant, and Rocket League, and supports numerous content creators. On the other hand, Enthusiast Gaming, which controls Luminosity Gaming and operates the Vancouver Titans and Seattle Surge franchises, is also a potential buyer.

The acquisition of FaZe Clan could potentially reshape the organization’s future and provide a solution to its financial woes. With two significant players in the esports industry showing interest, the future of FaZe Clan is eagerly awaited by fans and industry insiders alike.

Valorant Pro TenTen Suspended for Racist Remarks

0

In a recent development in the esports world, Riot Games, the developer of the popular game Valorant, has taken a firm stand against unprofessional conduct. The company suspended Japanese Valorant pro player TenTen from his upcoming four VCT appearances due to his racist comments during a live stream.

The incident unfolded during a Valorant Ranked game, where TenTen engaged in a heated argument with RRQ in-game leader Saibani “fl1pzjder” Rahmad. The argument escalated, leading TenTen to make racially offensive remarks under the assumption that Rahmad was of Indian origin. This incident, broadcasted live, sent shockwaves through the Valorant community, highlighting the pressing issue of racism in online gaming.

Following the incident, TenTen’s team, Northeption, acted swiftly, releasing him from the squad within hours of the clip surfacing on Twitter. Riot Games also launched an official investigation into the incident, resulting in TenTen’s suspension and a warning issued to fl1pzjder.

TenTen, a promising player from Korea, had been making significant strides in the Japanese Tier-2 scene. This setback could potentially hinder his future prospects in esports. However, such behavior cannot be overlooked, and strict action is necessary to maintain a healthy gaming environment.

In response to the incident, TenTen issued an apology, expressing deep regret for his remarks and acknowledging the seriousness of his punishment.

Riot Games’ decision to suspend TenTen and issue a warning to fl1pzjder demonstrates their commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive Valorant community. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of maintaining professional conduct in esports, a rapidly growing industry where players are not just competitors but also role models for many fans worldwide.

Evil Geniuses LCS Players Survive a Frightening Car Accident in LA

In a recent turn of events, Evil Geniuses LCS players, Revenge and Jojopyun, were involved in a distressing car accident in Los Angeles. The players took to social media to assure fans of their safety following the incident.

Joseph “Jojopyun” Pyun and Mohamed “Revenge” Kaddoura, star players of the Evil Geniuses’ LCS team, were part of a car crash on July 23. Jojopyun initially shared a picture on Twitter, captioning it, “LA drivers are different. Fortunately no injuries.” This post sparked concern among fans, leading to a flurry of comments expressing worry for the players’ well-being.

In response to the growing concern, Revenge retweeted Jojopyun’s post to provide a clearer picture of the incident. He revealed, “Got T-boned while driving near an intersection, completely terrifying. First time I’ve been in an accident.” He did not specify if there were other passengers in the car at the time of the crash but reassured fans that everyone involved was safe with no major injuries.

The accident occurred shortly after Evil Geniuses concluded their LCS Summer Split 2023 Group Stage on July 21, with a commendable 12-6 record. They secured the third seed for the playoffs, narrowly missing out to Cloud9 and Golden Guardians. Jojopyun played a pivotal role in EG’s group stage run, earning five Group Stage MVPs, second only to Cloud9’s Blaber. The team is set to face TSM in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals on July 27, vying for a spot in World 2023.

KRÜ Esports Defeat Leviatan to Book Spot at Valorant Champions 2023

0

KRÜ Esports took the entire Valorant community by surprise as they delivered an extraordinary performance in the VCT Americas Last Chance Qualifiers, defeating Leviatan and securing their slot at the Valorant Champions 2023.

Undoubtedly, KRÜ Esports was not considered among the top favorites to win the Last Chance Qualifiers. As the only team in the region to go without a single victory in the regular season, they finished the VCT Americas League with a disappointing score of 0-9. Moreover, their performance in this year’s LOCK//IN event ended with a discouraging 0-1 loss.

Starting from the bottom seed in the Americas LCQ, the South American esports organization pulled off the unthinkable, winning back-to-back games to go 5-0 during the event and qualify for VCT Champions 2023. This signifies the organization’s third qualification for Champions, the grandest annual Valorant tournament, renowned for its colossal prize pool of $1,000,000.

What’s even more impressive is the fact that KRÜ Esports only dropped three maps in the entire LCQ tournament.

“We’re so back,” KRÜ’s head coach, Atom, said in a press release after securing their qualification to Valorant Champions 2023.

The heavily anticipated Valorant Champions 2023 is all set to kick off on August 6, 2023. Sixteen of the best Valorant teams from throughout the globe will battle it out in the big stages in a double-elimination format as the top eight teams move on to the playoffs.
