When Is Garena Free Fire Launching in India in 2024? Find out How to Register Here

The popular battle royale game “Garena Free Firewas banned along with 40+ other apps by the Indian Government back in February 2022, due to privacy and data management concerns. The apps were pulled from the Google Play store and Apple’s app store following the requirements from MeitY, and an upgraded higher-end version of the game, Free Fire Max was left back as an offering on the store, that could be played in India.

The Indian version of the game i.e. Free Fire India was announced in September 2023 and the news was met with excitement by the Indian Free Fire community, although the question arose as to when will the game be relaunched and when will the APK/IPA be available for download.

Interestingly, the Free Fire India application for mobile platforms was open for pre-registration just when the game was announced, till the end of November 2023 when it went missing from the store for a while and returned right after a while.

So when will the game launch?

free fire

On 31st August 2023, Garena held a press conference and announced the big news of the game returning to India as “Free Fire India” and a plan to host the servers in India to comply with the privacy and data concerns that the Indian Government had expressed.

Things since then have finally moved on and the latest reports suggested that Garena was partnering up with Yotta Data services for cloud hosting in Mumbai, which suggests that the official launch might be pretty close now.
How do I register for when the game launches?

Well, registrations have now closed for the game on the Play Store, but since the news broke to the public regarding the server setup, it suggests that Garena wants to be assured that the infrastructure is compliant and ready when the game does launch to the Indian audience. It does make sense as none of the stakeholders involved would like for there to be another delay due to intervention from the Government which could risk the game getting banned once again.

Garena Free Fire MAX Redeem Codes for 26th April 2024

Free Fire is a very popular battle royale game with millions of active users per day. A large part of this fan base comes from India and despite the ban, players have shifted to its advanced version called Free Fire Max to enjoy the game.

The game has same core and hence, it has redeem codes as well. Here are some redeem codes that you can use to get free items in Free Fire Max.

Free Fire redeem codes are special codes that can be used to unlock several items for free in-game. They are not released on a regular basis hence coming across a working code is very hard.

Garena Free Fire MAX Redeem Codes

As Free Fire now banned in India, players have shifted to Free Fire Max and the entire account history is ported to its servers. This means that players can still use their old accounts and make use of features like redeem codes to get rewards in it as well.

  • Visit the Reward Redemption center of Garena Free Fire. Click here to visit.
  • Log in with your Free Fire account. One must have either Facebook or Google ID signed in as a Guest account does not work.
  • Enter the code and get free rewards in your in-game item vault.

The redeem codes tend to expire very soon and hence, make sure to use them as soon as you can. Some of them can be region restricted and if you find one like that, simply move on to next one as region restricted codes cannot be used in other areas.

How to Get Billie Eilish Skin in Fortnite?

0

The third season of Fortnite Festival, which stars Billie Eilish, is coming back. As of the most recent edition, the Battle Pass includes access to many songs, emotes, and other stuff. One of the most anticipated additions in Fortnite is the Billie Eilish skin. But just how exactly can you get it?

In this article, we will explain how to get the Billie Eilish skin in Fortnite. Keep reading till the end.

How to Get Billie Eilish Skin in Fortnite?

Billie Eilish Skin Fortnite in game

To get the much-coveted Billie Eilish skin in the game, players must purchase the premium tier of the Fortnite Festival Season 3 Pass. This premium tier may be purchased for 1,800 V-Bucks and comes with the skin in addition to several songs, loading screens, instruments, and other items.

Currently, the only method to obtain the Billie Eilish skin is through the Festival Pass. Though there’s a chance it will ultimately appear in the item shop, gamers who choose to wait will miss out on the skin style that is exclusive to this pass.

Gamers can either progress through the tiers or purchase them all at once. It may not be as inexpensive as the standard Battle Pass, but it’s still less expensive than buying a skin from the Fortnite item store.

You will not immediately receive the skin if you purchase only the pass. Players have to work hard to get to the top of the pass. Unlike the Battle Royale mode, winning games will not contribute toward getting the skin. Instead, they have to engage in Festival mode activities.

Free Fire Faded Wheel Event: A Guide to Acquiring the Dragon Swipe Emote

0

Garena introduced a new Faded Wheel event to Free Fire on April 25th, 2024. This event centers around the highly desirable Dragon Swipe Emote and includes a selection of additional cosmetic rewards. Players can access these prizes by utilizing the in-game currency, Diamonds.

Understanding the Faded Wheel Event

Free Fire’s Faded Wheel events are distinct from traditional loot boxes. Here’s how they function:

  • Each spin guarantees a unique prize.
  • Players expend Diamonds to spin, with costs increasing incrementally per spin (starting at 9 Diamonds).
  • Before initiating spins, players select two undesirable rewards to exclude from the prize pool.
  • The Dragon Swipe Emote is guaranteed after a maximum of eight spins.

How to Participate in the Faded Wheel Event

  • Launch Free Fire on your device.
  • Access the ‘Luck Royale’ section via the icon on the left-hand side of your screen.
  • Locate the ‘Dragon Swipe Emote’ Faded Wheel and remove two unwanted rewards.
  • Begin spinning and expending Diamonds accordingly.
  • Once you obtain the Dragon Swipe Emote, equip it from the in-game ‘Vault’.

Important Note: Players with limited Diamonds may wish to reserve their currency for future events, such as the Mystery Shop, which can potentially offer more advantageous conditions for acquiring cosmetic items.

Stellar Blade Deluxe: Worth the Upgrade? Here’s the Lowdown

0

Okay, Stellar Blade dropped and we’re all obsessed. But I gotta ask – is shelling out the extra cash for the Deluxe Edition worth it? I mean, that Stargazer Suit for Eve is fire, but is it enough to justify the price jump? Let’s break it down.

Wait, It Takes How Long to Get My Deluxe Stuff?!

Here’s the thing that threw me off: you don’t get your Deluxe Edition goodies right away in Stellar Blade. You gotta hustle through the game a bit before they unlock.

See, you have to take down the fourth boss (that Gigas dude) and then make the trek with Adam and Lily over to Xion, this scrappy human outpost. Only after you arrive and watch the cutscene will you find a small loot box waiting on the bridge. Finally, right? Hit that L2 button and boom – that’s when you get your Deluxe Edition rewards.

Okay, So What’s in the Deluxe Edition Stash?

Here’s the full rundown:

  • Stargazer Suit for Eve: Seriously, makes Eve look like a total badass
  • Half-rim Glasses for Eve: A little more subtle, but still cool
  • Quadruple Rectangle Earrings for Eve: Adds a bit of stylish bling
  • Stargazer Wear for Adam and Lily: Gotta give some love to the squad!
  • Stargazer Pack for the Drone: Not sure what this does, gotta check it out…
  • 2,000 SP EXP: Nice boost to upgrade Eve’s skills
  • 5,000 Gold in-game currency: Can never have too much cash, right?

The Verdict: Looks vs. Gameplay

A screenshot of Eve from Stellar Blade wearing the Stargazer Suit

Let’s be real, all the cosmetics in the Deluxe Edition are purely for looks. They don’t make you stronger. But the gold and SP EXP sweeten the deal, especially early in the game.

So, if you’re the type who loves customizing your character’s appearance, and you want a little leg-up in those first few hours, the Deluxe Edition upgrade might be worth considering. Otherwise, you can rock the base game and still have a blast.

Thug Reveals Income of Top Gaming Creators and Esports Players

0

In a recent episode of Nikhil Kamath’s podcast series, “WTF is with Nikhil Kamath,” gaming industry stalwart Animesh “Thug” Agarwal, CEO of 8bit Creatives and co-founder of S8UL Esports, revealed the lucrative and skewed nature of the gaming and esports industry. With a highly experienced panel featuring CEO of Krafton India Sean Hyunil Sohn, CEO of Lila Games Joseph Kim, and CEO of Nazara Technology Nitish Mittersain, the discussion shed light on the financial landscape of professional gaming and streaming in India.

Thug Reveals Top Gaming Creators Earn Millions Annually

In a section of the podcast, Nikhil Kamath asked Thug how much do successful Indian streamers and esports players make in India and how viable it is as a profession. Responding to this, Thug painted a nuanced picture of the earning potential in the Indian gaming scene, highlighting a significant disparity between the top earners and those struggling to even monetize their passion. “It is very skewed,” Thug stated. “The top steamers and the top gamers make a lot of money, and if you go to the bottom of the chart, people are not making money at all.”

Nikhil Kamath also asked Thug how much does the top Indian gaming content creators make and who is the top creator. Responding to this, Thug confidently said, “Million dollars comfortably in a year.” Talking about the top Indian gaming creators, he named MortaL, Scout, MythPat, and Payal, along with Techno Gamerz.

Thug Reveals Income of Top Esports Players

Following this, Nikhil Kamath curiously asked Thug what are the earning sources for these creators and where does this money come from. Responding to this, Thug revealed that the two major earning sources for gaming content creators are brand endorsement and their content, but emphasized that brand endorsement makes up a bigger chunk.

Transitioning from streamers to professional esports players, Nikhil Kamath asked how much they earn. Responding to this, Thug estimated that top esports players participating in official tournaments under registered teams could earn a respectable sum, ranging from 30 to 35 lakhs annually.

Coldzera To Join RED Canids

Brazilian Counter-Strike legend Marcelo “coldzera” David has agreed to join the RED Canids CS2 roster, as confirmed by reports from Dust2Br and The Clutch

According to the reports, the contract hasn’t been signed yet, which is why no official announcement has been made at the time of writing.

Before this, the 29-year-old had been an integral part of Legacy since September 2023 but was relegated to the bench by the end of March. In mid-April, the two-time Major champion announced his departure from the organization.

Following coldzera’s move, the new RED Canids roster will include the following players:

League of Legends Patch 14.9: Release Date, All Changes, & More

Riot Games has officially revealed the details of the upcoming League of Legends patch 14.9, and the LoL community is excited to know more about all the changes that the update will bring with it to the MOBA.

In the next LoL update, Riot is planning to introduce several interesting changes to the game’s Champions. Some of the “easy champions” in the game like Amumu, Malzahar, Seraphine, Kennen, Sejuani, and Karma will be receiving minor buffs.

“Some of our easy champions (Amumu, Malzahar, Seraphine a bit less so) with low mastery have been sitting at 51% for a while,” lead gameplay designer Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison said in a statement. “For these champions, this is actually pretty critically weak, when their mastery curve is actually only something like 3% [compare this to a champion who is 50%, but has a mastery curve of 7%]. As a result we’re buffing them; it’s important that our training wheels champions feel powerful for these audiences.”

Without further ado, let’s check out the tentative patch notes of LoL patch 14.9 and see what the devs have in store for us.

LoL Patch 14.9: Release Date

As officially confirmed by Riot Games, League of Legends patch 14.9 will hit the live servers on May 1, 2024. The update comes only two weeks after patch 14.8 dropped on April 17th.
