LoL Battle Queen 2024: All Skins

Battle Queen Miss Fortune

Battle Queen Miss Fortune

“Queen Katarina’s decree rang throughout Elysia: the Grand Coronation ordains honorable battle among nations, army versus army. Miss Fortune of Cyrenia welcomed this change, commanding her sky-fleet in an explosive display of wealth and munitions. While allied to the secluded Aurai, Miss Fortune’s crowning proves the ruthlessness of the brigades above.”

Battle Queen Gwen

“Gwen of Caligo—a faraway, ancient queendom long thought lost to time—cut through the nation’s protective clouds to reconnect with the rest of Elysia. Her predecessor, Queen Isolde, trusts Gwen’s pure heart and sharp mind to affirm Caligo’s strength and ally with fellow rulers—for dark times lie ahead, and only a steadfast pact may prevent the worst.”

Battle Queen Fiora

“Nobles in the cutthroat queendom of Telum conspired against Fiora’s rise to power, taking her eye and proclaiming her dead. Yet from flowers and flame she arose, then prevailed, in the Grand Coronation. Queen Fiora now oversees arms manufacturing in her nation’s steel gardens, and secures her succession by training and tempering a certain fiery princess.”

Battle Princess Annie

“Annie revealed her magical talents before Telum’s royal court, transforming her dear teddy bear into a knight of steel and flame. Though a near-fatal display for many aristocrats, Queen Fiora embraced the child’s potential and named her successor. Annie trains to triumph in a future Coronation… and causes a fair amount of mischief for her regal mentor.”

100 Thieves Valorant Coach Zikz Signs 3-Year Contract Extension

0

100 Thieves has officially confirmed signing the contract extension of their star coach Anthony “Zikz” Gray with its Valorant roster. The news, which was revealed through an X post on August 14th, states that Zikz has been signed as the head coach of the organization until 2027.

“Tony is a rarity in the esports space. There are few individuals in the scene that can maintain a world-class form across different titles,” Joseph Jang, Vice President of Esports for 100 Thieves, said in a statement. “I know firsthand how much dedication, grit, and passion he brings to his craft, and I know he is the best fit to lead the future of the program.”

Despite a strong start in VCT 2024, 100 Thieves experienced a disappointing downturn in the latter half of the season. However, the organization is looking to gain an edge for the upcoming VCT season by securing their head coach early, even as Champions 2024 is underway.

100T secured victory in the VCT Stage 1 playoffs, earning a spot at Masters Shanghai. However, their momentum faltered in the VCT Stage 2 playoffs, where they fell short of success. As a result, 100T missed out on qualifying for the prestigious Valorant Champions 2024, failing to finish in the top three and lacking the necessary championship points.

“My first year as a VALORANT head coach was a valuable learning experience,” Zikz said. “We made good progress implementing my system and culture, and I’m excited to build on that foundation with the insights we gained.”

Before joining 100 Thieves, Zikz was a part of the Evil Geniuses roster who were the winners of Champions 2023. Prior to that, he guided Counter Logic Gaming to the MSI League of Legends Finals in 2016 and led them to an LCS championship in the same season.

CS2 Player Count: How Many People Play in August 2024

0

Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) is still a powerhouse in the gaming industry and captures countless gamers across many countries. As of August 2024, CS2’s player count shows that it remains popular and faces challenges. This article discusses current player statistics, trends, and factors affecting the game’s player base.

Current numbers of players

By August 13th, 2024, there were around 1.27 million active users on CS2. Nevertheless, this figure has slightly dropped from the initial global player count which was about 1.55 million at the launch of the game. Nonetheless, its audience is steady with a monthly average of approximately 1.34 million players for the past thirty days.

Peak counts

There have been times when CS2 enjoyed massive surges in its population of players. The record peak occurred in May 2023 with concurrent players numbering at about 1,802,853 players. Also, last April had one of its highest spikes ever experienced by the game as it reached the 1.61M-population mark at some point during this period. This increase can be attributed to significant events and updates that enticed people back into playing again.

Monthly trend

The daily average number of players from July to August in the year 2024 was estimated at 482043 players while the maximum headcount during this time amounted to 778305 players representing sustained growths affected by updates as well as seasonal matters hence displaying coolness within them as evidenced by figures above until now which are still around the same area since before July that year where these stood at one point three four.

Contributing Factors to Player Count

Cheating has been an ongoing problem impacting CS2’s player count over time though more than one-fifths banned by VAC still leaves discontented customers. Cheats are now a constant feature on many player’s screens and this often spoils their gaming experience as it involves them in such activities. Consequently, it has made others believe that they could shift to other forms of games with more efficient anti-cheat systems.

Another factor driving the popularity of CS2 is its free-to-play system and availability across multiple devices. It also provides room for a wider audience thereby pulling new participants and maintaining some of the old players.

The high viewership on Twitch and having a strong presence in competitive esports also significantly prop up CS2’s population of players. IEM Katowice, PGL Major Antwerp events together with other tournaments raise gamers’ interest in this game as they would begin playing after watching these matches. It shows that the higher streaming platform ratings correspond to a greater number of users playing inside it.

Brimstone & Viper Hit With Huge Nerf in Valorant 9.03

0

The Valorant 9.03 update is here, and it has brought with it a number of interesting changes to the game that we’ve already covered yesterday.

While the update didn’t seemingly introduce any major buffs and nerfs to any of the Valorant Agents, taking a closer look at the patch notes reveal a major nerf to two of the best Controllers in the game.

The patch notes for the Valorant 9.03 update read, “We’re making improvements to abilities that spread along the ground like Brimstone’s Incendiary and Viper’s Snakebite.” Furthermore, the devs mention that moving forward, “these abilities should spread more consistently and only apply damage in places that are consistent with the visuals.”

This change may seem like a QoL update at first, but seems to have some serious impact in certain in-game scenarios.

Valorant 9.03 Update: Brimstone & Viper Nerfs Explained

valorant viper

The impact of this change is evident on most maps when mollying one side of a door or wall. Previously, Viper and Brimstone could molly one side, and the flames (or poison) would automatically spread to the other, making it challenging to hold certain angles without the risk of getting mollied out. However, following the update, the mollies no longer spread to the other side.

A user on X highlighted the Ascent door as an example when discussing this nerf. Previously, they could throw a molly on one side of the closing doors on Ascent, and it would still spread to the other side. However, with the latest update, this is no longer possible, making it a clear nerf.

While it’s unlikely that this change will impact the pick rates of Brimstone and Viper in competitive lobbies, the full extent of the nerf still remains to be seen.
