Report: AdreN to form team new team with ex-Gambit teammates

In a report from Jarek “DeKay” Lewis, the ex-Gambit core of AdreN, Hobbit, and Mou could reunite under a new banner and start competing again.

In 2017, this lineup of Dauren โ€˜AdreNโ€™ Kystaubayev, ย Rustem โ€˜mouโ€™ Telepov and Abay โ€˜Hobbitโ€™ Khassenov added with Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko and Mikhail “Dosia” Stolyarov. The team is incredibly famous for having won the 2017 Krakow PGL Major.

AdreN is the only free agent in this roster whose short stint with FaZe ended badly with the European Organisation going with NEO to take over the reins of the team.

Gambitโ€™s primary roster has been put on hold due to a string of lackluster results in the recent past and the team investing more time in their youngster’s roster. After putting the lineup on hold, Mikhail โ€˜Dosiaโ€™ Stolyarov, Nikolay โ€˜mirโ€™ Bityukov, and Dmitriy โ€˜dimasickโ€™ Matvienko and ย Rustem “mou” Telepov have had their transfers listed by the organization while Sergey โ€˜Ax1Leโ€™ Rykhtorov, being moved to the youngster’s roster where replaced Daniil “Porya” Poryadin in the active lineup.

Hobbitโ€™s transfer from HellRaisers has been listed since the squad added ย ลฝygimantas “nukkye” Chmieliauskas to complete their lineup and Hobbit has been missing in action since that day, making it easier for the lineup to be completed.

The report does not mention the remaining players who will be joining the core.

Report: Cloud9 to make another series of roster changes

A Report from RushBMedia, states that Cloud9 is considering the addition of Damian “daps” Steele and Canadian rifler Tyson “TenZ” Ngo.

Cloud9 and roster changes go hand in hand. The North-American organization has been unable to repeat anything close to its major winning feat post the departure of Stewie2k and Tarik which hugely hurt the teamโ€™s chemistry and everything went downhill from there.

Jumping to April 2019, Cloud9 had a decent squad to compete and looked like they could cause some damage to the scene. However, nothing worked in their favour as they reported the worst rating in the organizationโ€™s history and failed to make it to the Minor after consecutive losses to New Identity and The Quest in the NA Minor Closed qualifier.

It is assumed that with the addition of daps, daps will take over the IGL role, Golden will be shown the way out/benched from the roster.

TenZ will also see taking the role of Vice who has had the worst ratings in the squad since his addition.

Additionally, Jack Etienne, Founder & CEO of Cloud9 and London Spitfire, recently began following Daps and TenZera on Twitter and a probable move is on the cards.

With this change, Cloud9 will have:

  • Tyson “TenZ” Ngo
  • Damian โ€œdapsโ€ Steele
  • Timothy โ€œautimaticโ€ Ta
  • Will โ€œRUSHโ€ Wierzba
  • Rene โ€œcajunbโ€ Borg

SAP becomes the official analytics partner of the EPICENTER Major

0

German IT giant SAP, the market leader in enterprise application software, becomes the official partner of the EPICENTER Major Dota 2 series. For the first time in its history, EPICENTER series acquired an international IT brand, which is specialized in collecting in-game data and statistics for professional esports teams.

The companyโ€™s technology collects and displays in-game figures such as net worth*, patch records, and other useful facts in real time, connecting them to esports tournament broadcasts. This allows fans, observers and broadcasters to experience the full picture and get a better understanding for the esports athleteโ€™s decisions in less intuitive games such as Dota 2.

โ€œWith 117 different heroes with completely different abilities, there are thousands of different constellations that make sure that no two Dota games are the same,โ€ says Milan Cerny, Partner Manager and Innovation lead at SAP. โ€œAt the EPICENTER Major, we continue to provide value to fans of the Dota Pro Circuit by putting context to in-game data analysis and enhance the experience during all phases of each game.โ€

Alexander Kim, ESforce Holding Commercial Director: โ€œIt is difficult to imagine modern professional football, basketball or hockey without nuanced and detailed statistical analysis. Correct information processing is often key to great achievements and genius coaching decisions. Products offered by SAP to esports will not only increase broadcast quality for the viewers of our major tournaments, but also elevate esports industry to a completely new professional level.โ€

As opposed to the traditional sports, esports operate with a much higher amount of data which is standardized and available via the developerโ€™s API*. SAP has developed a cloud-based analytics solution based on their SAP HANA platform, allowing esports athletes to review their opponentsโ€™ in-game strategies โ€“ picks and bans, playersโ€™ hero win ratios, etc. โ€“ much faster and more effectively.

Streamlining replay review processes is another function of SAP esports application. SAP managed to automate a previously time-consuming process thanks to its data-handling framework. Team Liquid was the first team to enjoy the practical application of the esports analytical platform provided by SAP in 2018.

Epic Esports Events (a member of ESforce Holding) EPICENTER Major will be the second Major class series tournament held in Russia. The first ever Major to be held in Russia was 2018 EPICENTER XL in Moscow, which became the second most viewed Dota 2 event in 2018 worldwide and the most viewed Dota 2 event in the world among the series hosted by independent organizers.

Epic Esports Events specializes in organizing international competitions and is the organizer of EPICENTER series in Dota 2 and CS:GO in Moscow and Saint Petersburg throughout 2016-2018. Their first Dota 2 series was deemed the best Live Entertainment event by a leading European award EUBEA 2016, and EPICENTER XL 2019 was awarded the first place in nomination Russian Event per Eventex Awards.

As the news broke, Twitch immediately suspended Dr Disrespectโ€™s account and took down the stream. Later Twitch banned Dr Disrespect for violating theย Community Guidelines and Terms and Services and also revoked his E3 badge.

E3 is one of the biggest gaming events that is held every year in USA with many big Publishers and Developers coming up to showcase their upcoming games and/or gaming hardware. The E3 event is prestigious and twitch only selects a few of streamers to actually visit the venue and cover the event officially.

Dr Disrespect was one of the selected few. E3 was Disrespects first-ever IRL streams and first onsite E3 cover. According to news, Dr Disrespect on Tuesday, walked into menโ€™s washroom with his cameraman still live and streaming Dr Disrespect. Disrespect was strolling in menโ€™s washroom and shouting โ€œbodyguardโ€ at the attendees.

Not long after, Dr Disrespectโ€™s twitch account was suspended and all the clips were taken down or deleted from Twitch. Disrespectโ€™s account is currently inaccessible on Twitch. His actions fall directly under Twitchโ€™s Community guidelines which forbids people from streaming illegal acts, and filming people in a public/private place without consent also filming in the bathroom is likely a violation of Californiaโ€™s โ€œinvasion of privacyโ€ law also. Banning him for this behaviour was expected action from Twitch and many streamers also confirmed and applauded swift action by Twitch.
