The first game was eventually more of an even game from both the sides. Perhaps Execration claimed first blood in game 1 and they were able to hold on to a lead of 6-1 score by minute 10. Passing on by the 10-minute mark, Since Execration was dominating in their first 10 minutes, they decided to go for Roshan kill. Escape gaming was able to fight around the Roshan pit and team wipe their opponents.

After the team wipe, Escape gaming was able to take down Execration’s Tier 1 bot tower and significantly take the lead over the game. At 23 minute mark after having lead in the game, Escape Gaming decided to take their first aegis of the game and take down Execration’s tier 2 tower on top lane.

However, escape gaming went for bottom racks which Execration were able to defend successfully. Just a minute or two later, Escape gaming  took down 4 of Xtcn’s players and rushed into the Roshan pit and claimed their second aegis of immortal.

Team Invictus win DewArena Online Qualifier #1

Team Invictus wins DewArena Online Qualifier #1 by beating Team Brutality 2-0 in a best-of-three final series. They beat Brutality 16-14 on de_train and 16-13 on cache making their way to the LAN event which is scheduled to be in September this year.

Brutality who beat MxB Gaming in the semi-finals performed indistinguishable versus Team Invictus who beat SemperX in the second leg of semis. Invictus, on the other hand, were stronger comparatively after they recently formed a new team with the likes of Excali and Ace.

The first map, Train started with Team Invictus on the CT side taking the first pistol round in a very clean manner having 4 of their players alive while retaking the site. Coming stronger on the second round, Brutality were able to surprise Invictus by forcing up the buy even though on the weaker economy and making their way to clinching 3 more rounds in their favor with astarrrr’s 1v3 clutch in the very first rifle round, forcing Invictus to go full eco in the sixth round. Team Invictus, however, taking on the next rifle round as dnm goes for the triple spray down in the inner bombsite followed by kills Ribbiz which led them winning the round. Only to get a respond strongly by V3nom and co., as astarrrr and Juventa pick multiple kills sailing their team to get another point on the board. Invictus were forced to eco’s as the scoreline strengthen to 7-2 in favor of Team Brutality.

Team Invictus

RibbiZ though, showing his capability in the outer bombsite as he takes down 3 man on rifles with his 5-seven on point and reducing the round to a 1v1 slightly favoring his team the last man alive, Juventa was already on 18 health points. Denying the clutch to RibbiZ, Juventa successfully clutched the round making the map scores 8-3. The following round with both the teams on full utilities was favorably traded by the Brutals with 3 of them alive, reducing the ct’s to a very weak economy. As the game progressed Team Brutality were strongly sprinting towards a victory by taking 11 rounds on board in the first half of the first map.

The second half, rather viciously dominated by Invictus as they were the pilot in the very first round with Marzil’s impressive and effective triple-kill, they were able to win the second pistol and a couple of following rounds making the scoreline look less favorable, 7-11 in favor on Brutality. With the quality lurker as Excali, Invictus were able to strictly restrict Brutality from having a breathing space as they quickly jumped up to 10th rounds with Brutality not being able to have a single round until then in the second half of the game. Tactical timeout came in as Invictus successfully were able to diminish the gap and balancing the scoreline to an 11-11. Marzil though, clutching a clean 1v2 in the rifle round forcing the opponents to limited eco rounds. As the game progressed, Brutality managed to get back a couple of rounds making the first map impartially stuck at 14-14 once again. As entering into the 29th and 30th round, Brutality were pretty much broken in the economy and were denied any presence by Ace & co., Excali, however, elevated much with his run as he finally leads Team Invictus to a victory in the opener map 16-14 with 26 frags on for himself.

DewArena-finals

Cache, the very favorite map for the grand finals began looked like a pretty one-sided affair from the very beginning as Invictus won the pistol and the following anti- eco’s in a regular fashion ticking the scoreboard to a 3-0. The rifle round, however, went in favor of the Brutals as V3nom, Juventa, foXy and astaRRRRR each shared kills; only to deny them any further control of the map, Team Invictus quickly won the second rifle forcing Brutality to force up in the following round and taking the score further to 7-1. Team Invictus dominated the scoreboard and restricted Team Brutality to two rounds going into the 13th round. Team Invictus almost replicated the same what Brutality did to them in the first map as they close the opening half in a very dominant fashion 12-3.

The second half which initially, had a very little engross was taken over in a leap of faith by Astar, who took the responsibility and started to comfortably assist in winning rounds after slicing RibbiZ in the pistols. The game progressed unexpectedly in favor of Brutality as they started winning rounds slowly and were able to equalize the score at 13-13 with Astar stepping up for his team. Not to drag this further Excali responded back with a double and contested on the next two rounds to close the map at 16-13.

Team Invictus are now qualified for Dew Arena LAN finals CS:GO scheduled to be commenced later this year.

Execration eliminates Complexity Gaming

Execration eliminates Complexity Gaming in a very convincing fashion. The International wild card has its first elimination today which will be none other than the home team – Complexity Gaming.

The SEA monsters are showing up some potential at The International 6. Execration were able to pull out first two games in a best of 3 series in a dominating fashion.

Complexity Gaming in the upper bracket lost to Escape Gaming earlier today. They were able to pull Game 1 but failed to claim a full series victory.

Coming next to the game versus Execration, It took only 30 minutes each game for Execration to bring down the home team from NA scene trying to grab a slot at International 6.

Score for best of 3 game was 2 – 0 in favor of execration.

Game 2 of the series showed up some high level of performance from Xtcn.Abed. A 15 year old kid wrecking through the Complexity line up with his dominant Meepo plays. At 25 min mark, the fifteen year old had a blink, 2x hurricane pike, Boots of travel, Aghanims and Ethereal Blade which enabled him to run over Complexity.

Execration advance to the second round of the lower bracket, they will be facing the loser of EHOME vs Escape Gaming and fight for the slot at TI6.

Stay tuned for more updates about the International 6.

Ehome qualifies for Group Stage of The International 6

Ehome qualifies for Group Stage of the International 6 after defeating Escape Gaming in the upper bracket round 2 of wild card qualifiers.

The team also pushed down Execration to the lower bracket in their first game with a score of 2-1. Ehome lost the first game and came back strong in next two games allowing them to move to the second round.

After being placed in the top 6 position of TI5 were pushed back down to the wild card after losing to VG.Reborn in the regional Chinese qualifiers. The Chinese lineup has now proved themselves that they hold the potential to participate at TI.

The match between Ehome and Escape gaming was a slow pace game. Escape gaming were not able to hold against Iceiceice’s naga siren in the later stages of the game. Game 2 concluded with an Anti-Mage pick which is merely regarded as a strong counter to int hero’s such as Storm Spirit, at min 30 iceiceice’s Anti-Mage was almost unkillable and it lead to Ehome’s victory and secured them a slot at the International 6.

Ehome will be taking the Slot of Group B which will include the team which they lost to in the regional qualifiers i.e VG.Reborn.

Escape Gaming still have one last chance to qualify by beating  Execration in the lower bracket.

fer short-distanced from SK Gaming

1

Rising wrist injuries and hearing losses are much of concern in CS:GO, when professionals are facing these struggles with their health, even fans are not less vulnerable. After GuardiaN, Olofemeister and Shox, it is now Fer who has been troubled by playing the game too much. Not ignoring the fact that he had a broken nose since he was a child, but the hearing loss has pertained after playing the game.

Fer will be taking a long break from SK to get the injuries and health concerns resolved. Read below his open letter to fans explaining the condition. “Shoowtime” will replace fer until he returns.

This is an open letter to my fans, SK-Gaming fans and to those who support or like me.

SK Gaming fer

As many of you know, since I was little I have my nose broken, and I can only breathe through one side of my nostrils, and for about 2 years now, I suffer from eardrum perforation on the right side, which despites our performance, for a little over than one year has exponentially increased, and it has affected a lot my own performance in-game, and my life quality out-game.

After last season, when I came back to Brazil, I visited 2 medical experts (the same ones who checked my case in the past), and they told me about a worsening of clinical symptoms, and a possible tumor in my ear, due to strong and painful aches, bleeding and a lot of twinges.

They told me I have to make both surgeries, but also explained it would be impossible to make the two of them at the same time, so we would have to make one at a time.

They also explained that I need to make the nose surgery first, to have a better ventilation on my face, and then be able to go through the ear surgery.

He explained I won’t be able to recover the hearing loss on the right side of my ear, and the surgery will help me not to completely lose it. Since I went to the US, I only play with 30% of hearing on the right side, and it affects me a lot in-game.

We had a conversation between us (team, SK, family), and I told them I’d like to keep playing, even with all these problems, and I’d like to continue writing our history like we are until now.

My teammates totally supported me and told me I could be calm and take care of myself because health always comes first.

Therefore, in 2 weeks I will be submitted to a surgical procedure on my nose, so I can be able to breathe without any issues, and then get ready and prepare myself for the eardrum perforation surgery.

The nose surgery is not a complicated one, but I will need medical monitoring for about a month. The team will only be playing online tournaments between August and September (ECS and Pro League).

I won’t be traveling together with my team immediately, but I will join the group in the middle of September, when I will be able to play, however getting ready for the ear surgery.

Meanwhile, in order to help us, the player Gustavo “Shoowtime” Gonçalves (former Immortals), will join our line-up, until the middle of September. I’ll be playing from Brazil the individual part, and I will follow-up my team practices as a coach.

My intention is to be back 2 weeks before ESL One New York, and for during these 2 weeks, we’ll make an intensive preparation with the same goal: WIN!

I am just thankful to those who cheer for me and my team, and I ask you to keep your positive vibration. I also would like to thank “Shoowtime” for accepting right away the invitation to represent the best team in the world.

Welcome, Shoowtime!
Thanks, everybody.

Hugs,
Fernando ‘fer’ Alvarenga.

Virtus Pro Dota 2 roster announced

Virtus Pro announces their new lineup before TI6

Virtus Pro announce Dota 2 roster after disbanding their whole lineup about a month ago.

Check out the insights of roster disband

Just after a month of roster disband along with their managerial staff, Virtus Pro announced their new preliminary roster which will include their very own previous mid player Sergey ‘G’ Bragin.

Virtus.Pro Dota 2 current roster :

Russia Alexey ‘Solo‘ Berezin
Ukraine Ilya ‘Lil‘ Ilyuk
Russia Sergei ‘G‘ Bragin
Ukraine Alexander ‘XBOCT‘ Dashkevich
Ukraine Vladimir ‘No[O]ne‘ Minenko

Since the above roster is not fixed, Management will be trying out the current roster. If the roster is finalized Vega Squadron will loose its Two players namely – Noone and Solo.

Team will now be lead by ‘Solo’ and VP will welcome their old player ‘Lil’ back to the roster.

The main question for the audience is which player will play what role. From recent updates and players pub games it is seen that XBOCT will be again trying out the offlane role which he was playing in Team Spirit, while  Noone being a mid/carry player could be taking the position 1 role for team.

CEO of Virtus Pro :

“We have not yet signed any contracts with the players. In fact, we’re still discussing the possibility of creating such a roster”, – told the organisation’s CEO Anton “Sneg1” Cherepennikov. – “Everything can change in any moment. I’m also concerned about maintaining the proper sports management for the team. This is one of the most important and responsible tasks for me. Players are already warned about the physical trainings, daily regime and sports discipline.”

Anton ‘Sneg1’ Cherepennikov

After the whole managerial staff was removed a month ago along with the roster. CEO of VP is now making up the roster himself which will be a challenging job.

We wish Virtus.Pro all the best for their up coming matches and career’s of all the members of team.

Virtus Pro beat fnatic 2-0 to win ELEAGUE Season 1

3

The first map of the game cobblestone, began with Fnatic on the favorable terrorist side in the first half where they were able to pull off a next to impossible pistol round in a 2v4 scenario with Krimz taking triple straight kills and advancing to the game followed by 2 anti-eco rounds. Fnatic, as usual, triggered the nerves of the Polish players in the first half when they were leading 8-2, but soon to deny them any more charity, Neo took the responsibility and drove VP to quick 4 rounds win making the game less favorable to either side and an ordinary 9-6 favoring fnatic on terrorist side.

The second half, which rather was a one-sided affair by VP as they completely outclassed fnatic in the second half by beating them on aim duals and strategies having the likes of Kuben as a coach and Neo as the IGL for the game.

The first map ended up in favor of Virtus.Pro after they allowed Fnatic just to have double-digits on board and finally closing down the map with the strong and unexpected scoreline of 16-10.

Despite giving us a good show, dennis was unfortunate to have been carrying the team alone.
Despite giving us a good show, dennis was unfortunate to have been carrying the team alone.

The second map Mirage which was Virtus.Pro’s pick unlike the first one, started very balanced and regular for Fnatic as they were able to make the round chaotic and being able to win a couple of following rounds making it 3-0 after a flawless ace by Dennis in very early rounds of the game. VP, however, were not late to reply as they win quick two rifle rounds making the score 2-3.  The sixth round, the masterpiece from VP completely out-played fnatic and the streak continued for the rest of the half as VP nailed down fnatic 10-5 in the first half of the second Map even when being on the less favorable side of the map. To replicate their performance from their regular standard of playing, fnatic once again won the second pistol round in the most chaotic way possible.

Virtus.Pro

As the game progressed in the second half the chants in the audience also started to build up as Virtus. Pro stomping back-to-back clutches to beat fnatic on multiple rounds making life difficult for the Swedish side and making the score 14-8. The final nails in the coffin were even hit by the VP IGL Neo who denied fnatic utterly of their dreams for being able to bring it back from that deep.

Virtus.Pro finally closed the series with 16-10 in the first map and 16-8 in the second map. They take home $390,000 and a trophy to respect their fans all over the world.

Luminosity Gaming announces new lineup

Invisible Wings upset Brutality to win ESL India Premiership Challenger #1 – CS:GO

ESL India Premiership Challenger #1 – CS:GO comes to an end with Invisible Wings beating the national champions Team Brutality 2-1 in a best-of-three matchup. The game saw some amazing show of skills by the fresh lineup led by Simar ‘psy’ Sethi, Team Brutality however, gave a tough fight and ended up losing to them on cache 11-16 after tying up the series 1-1.

The match began on cobblestone where both the teams were taking rounds back and forth with nothing going right in the favor of the predictions. Not to mention the win of Invisible Wings came in comfortably after their lineup swaps, and with the addition of Akshay ‘Kappa’ Sinkar (formerly one of the India’s top professional athlete of Counter Strike 1.6) in the lineup, Invisible Wings played a devious gamble which was appropriately a good move by taking in an entry fragger as aggressive as him. Team Brutality, however, being down on multiple occasions on all of the maps were able to steal the momentum back in their favor thrice which demonstrated their level of skill and experience of the game.

13639968_801698386633342_791263144_o

The grand finals between Brutality and Invisible Wings had no delays whatsoever and the games successfully progressed with no technical glitches even. We could call the matchup to be by far, the perfect game of the event in terms of execution and skill levels.

Players to look out for

Not to forget about the best players in our industry but in the lights of the heavyweights, we shouldn’t sideline some of the emerging talents in the country. The players who came out of nowhere to be some of the most impactful to exist in this tournament were from different teams. Noticing ‘psy’ and ‘Kappa’ from Invisible Wings or be it the young players from West Bengal. ESL India Premiership surely, has been successfully being able to pull out fresh talent and players from almost every part of the country.

Looking at the current lineup of Invisible Wings and their performance in the Challengers #1, we hope they stick to their squad and work on themselves to enhance their skill set even further. The team surely has the potential to compete at international levels. And talking about Team Brutality, the favorite Indian CS:GO lineup of all time, they even need to work more on their consistency and strategy considering they already have some of the top aimers in the country judging by the performance of V3nom boys today.

And a final shout out to the cast, talent, and organizers responsible for producing this event of such a large scale. Shoutout to Bleh, CloudX, Aequitas, Vivek, the production team and also to the games administrators present on stage, our trainee caster Siddesh Sawant and the team led by our very own Head of Content for TalkEsport, Mr. Vishal ‘Arrow’ Gupta for pulling this off in a very significant fashion, special thanks to NODWIN group.

fnatic to face Virtus.Pro in ELEAGUE finals

ELEAGUE finals is a day away and we have with us the 10 best players of this season who will be seen playing for their teams to battle for $1.4 million prize pool. Fnatic will be seen playing against the Polish kings Virtus.Pro in best-of-three grand finals.

Cobb Energy Centre in Atlanta will be full of Counter Strike enthusiasts when the Swedish powerhouse plays Virtus.Pro to present the ELEAGUE fans their winners of this season.

ELEAGUE FINALS

ELEAGUE finals
Olofemsiter handshakes seized

Fnatic, who beat Na`Vi in the semi-finals are believed to be back in form after losing Olofemeister for a long period of time due to his injury. After his return earlier in ELEAGUE, there were speculations of him losing his legacy of being the best player in the world and not being able to catch up to that level of performance where he left the game. But leaving no prisoners, Olofmeister yesterday proved the world that he is now back where the team needed him to be. With the likes of dennis even, who is considered by far the best aimer in the Swedish side, Fnatic destroyed the dreams of the Ukranian territory after thrashing them 16-4 on cobblestone and 16-14 on de_train.

On the other side of the table, we have Virtus.Pro who are by far the most underperforming team whenever it comes to performing where it matters. Virtus.Pro did manage to eliminate the German squad mousesports even when denis (of mousesports) swiftly extended his support to the team but ended up losing two consecutive maps in best-of-three semi-finals. The ELEAGUE finals will be played tomorrow at 01:30 (Indian Standard Time), in best-of-three format between Fnatic and Virtus. Pro, it will be a treat to watch how the fans observe and react to the matchup between TaZ and Olofmeister. The match will also be broadcasted live on TBS network.
