Gaming YouTuber Madan under investigation for hateful remarks and abuse

Madan, a popular PUBG Mobile streamer from Tamil Nadu is under the scanner of State Child Welfare Commission and Chennai Crime Branch Police for reportedly using obscene language with people and inappropriate behavior with women. The YouTuber failed to appear in front of Chennai Crime Branch on Monday.

Several complaints were lodged against Madan for “using obscene language online when people disagree with him, is often heard abusing women, and behaves inappropriately with minor girls.” He is facing a major backlash for such derogatory actions as legal actions are taken against him.

Madan became a famous PUBG Mobile streamer and content creator with a subscriber count of over 750,000. The YouTuber mostly streams his content and interacts with fans on his livestreams. He is quite popular on social media as well, boasting a following of more than 250K on his Instagram.

According to Indian Express, Madan did not appear when called for investigation by Chennai Crime Branch. He was summoned for an inquiry about alleged hateful comments. Chennai City Police Commissioner Shankar Jiwal stated that actions will be taken against him if objectionable content is found on his channel.

The police has urged YouTube and Instagram to block Madan’s accounts and is probing if more people are linked to this matter. His objectionable actions have gained traction on Twitter as well. A hashtag “#ArrestMadanOP” went viral on Twitter with many people asking for strict against against the alleged culprit.

Police are still investigating the case and some actions might be seen if the allegations turn out to be true.

After the success of his previous singles, a deleted Tweet from Corpse Husband suggests that new music from him might be on its way.

Full-time YouTuber and part-time single, Corpse Husband has an army of stans who love his songs as much as they love his streams, which is evident from his Spotify numbers. Corpse often described his music career as a side project that he would turn to if he ever chose to quit YouTube.

Corpse’s success as a singer and YouTuber earned him a collaboration with none other than Machine Gun Kelly in a single “DAYWALKER” which was a hit, to say the least. The music video earned a feat from Valkyrae which explains how stacked the song was.

We’re only a couple of days away from the much-anticipated Episode 3 in Riot Games’ tactical shooter Valorant, and fans are already excited to know more about what’s arriving in the upcoming update.

Apart from the plethora of new content that the title is about to receive in the Episode 3 update, what fans are looking forward to most is perhaps the introduction of the new Valorant agent.

Valorant Agent 16, who has been nicknamed ‘Grenadier’ in the game files, is set to be introduced alongside the Episode 3 update. Here’s everything that you need to know about the agent:

Valorant Agent 16 Teaser and First Looks

A few days ago, Riot Games had released a teaser of the upcoming Agent through the official Valorant Twitter handle. The Twitter account, which seemingly got hacked by Killjoy, posted a cryptic image with the caption, “Variable removed, Alarmbot down.” This has led players to suspect that the upcoming agent might have been created by Killjoy herself.

Teasers had also been found in the new map Breeze which you can check out here.

Agent 16 was teased once again during the Summer Game Fest live event on June 10th. From the initial looks of it, the teaser seems to be showing a robot agent. While no official info has been released regarding this new agent by Riot Games, fans are suspecting that this agent might have been created by Killjoy herself to defend against mirrored agents attempting to steal the Earth-1 Radianite.

Valorant Agent 16 Abilities

No official details have been revealed by Riot Games regarding the abilities of Agent 16 as of yet. Judging by the previous teasers, many fans are suspecting that this agent will possess some sort of an ability that will disable the abilities of other agents.

As mentioned earlier, the new Valorant agent is set to hit the live servers alongside the Episode 3 update. Valorant Episode 3 is scheduled to arrive on June 22, 2021. It’ll bring a bunch of new changes to the title including competitive revamps, skin bundles, and more.

Viperous gets banned from Twitch

Popular Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite streamer Viperous has been banned from the platform in typical Twitch fashion with fans unaware as to what caused it.

With over 50,000 followers on her Twitch channel, Viperous rarely gets involved in any controversy or drama which prompted fans to wonder about the reason behind the ban. Her streams, especially R6 ones have formed quite a well-knitted and tight community that serves as her loyal fanbase who will support her no matter what.

Twitch is far from providing any explanation of sorts and neither the streamer nor the platform has chosen to comment on the matter. Her account was banned on June 12, but a return date cannot be speculated given the little information available.

Several speculations suggest a DMCA strike which would make her return simple and faster than we expect as Twitch will uplift the ban as soon as confusion surrounding the infringing content is resolved. As of now, nothing can be confirmed but keep a tab on her socials to get a swift update.

Imane Anys, aka “Pokimane” is perhaps the internet’s biggest female streamer and is one of the founding members of the OfflineTV entertainment group. She is widely known for her Fortnite, Among Us, and Rust streams. However, she recently took a liking to Minecraft and has been streaming it on her Twitch channel for the past few weeks. She is also active on YouTube, having several channels where she posts gaming-related content on her main channel “Pokimane” while she vlogs and shares her insight on various topics on her channels “Pokimane Too” & “imane”, another one of her channel “Poki ASMR”, which has been inactive for over a year, focuses on ASMR and unboxing videos.

Pokimane has received several accolades over the course of her streaming career and was the recipient of 2018’s Twitch Streamer of the Year.

DOTA 2 The International (TI) finally returns after a year’s hiatus and is set to take place on August 5 until August 15 in Stockholm, Sweden with a prize pool of $40,018,195, and out of the18 teams, 12 of them have already been invited to partake in this year’s TI. These teams were selected based on their DPC Point rankings, as the top 12 teams in the leaderboard are automatically eligible for The International while the remaining six teams will be selected from regional qualifiers in late June – early July.

Teams that have qualified for DOTA 2 The International 10

  • Evil Geniuses: The first team to secure a spot in TI 10, currently standing at 1650 DPC points after defeating Team Nigma in the WePlay Animajor.
  • Virtus.Pro: Virtus.Pro managed to retain their spot in the TI despite their loss to Team Nigma in the Animajor thanks to their 1200 DPC Points, which puts them in #3 in the DPC leaderboard.
  • PSG.LGD: On #2 Spot based on the DPC leaderboards with 1250 DPC Points, this team reached the Animajor finals after an impressive winning streak. PSG.LGD was the third team to qualify for TI.
  • Quincy Crew:  After securing first-place in DPC NA Season 1 and Second in Season 2, Quincy Crew bagged a ticket to TI despite losing to Vici Gaming in the recent major. Q.C currently has 1100 DPC Points.
  • Invictus Gaming: Winners of China Upper Division Season 1 and ONE ESports Singapore Major in 2021, Even though their performance in Season 2 was a bit underwhelming, to say the least, Invicticus earned enough points (1100) to reach TI.
  • T1: Their impressive performance in the Animajor as well as in Season 2 of SEA Upper Division, easily got them a place in TI 10, and at 1070 DPC Points, they’re at #6 in the DPC leaderboards.
    Team Secret: Winning DreamLeague Season 14 DPC EU Upper Division and securing a respectable position in both ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 and DreamLeague Season 15 meant that Team Secret would have no trouble in heading to TI, and that’s exactly what happened, thanks to their 950 DPC Points.
    Team Aster: Team Aster has barely had any presence this year, but they’ve managed to make an impact regardless. Having 800 DPC Points after securing third place in China Upper Division S1 and first place in China Upper Division S2, Aster is #9 in the DPC Leaderboards which makes them eligible for TI.
  • Vici Gaming: Vici has been the most consistent team these past two seasons as they’ve secured third place in both China Upper Division seasons and played fairly well throughout ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 and the WePlay Animajor, they currently toe to toe with Team Secret in the DPC Leaderboards with 950 DPC Points.
    Alliance:     Runners-up of DreamLeague Season 14 DPC EU and Winners of DreamLeague Season 15 DPC EU, Standing at 800 DPC Points, Alliance is going to TI despite losing to PSG.LGD and Team Spirit in the WePlay Animajor.
  • Beastcoast: Beastcoast barely made it to the TI as the team had to miss the Singapore major earlier this year, but this didn’t stop them from winning in Season 1 of OGA DPC and coming second in Season 2 of OGA DPC.
  • Thunder Predator: Thunder Predators got lucky with Team Nigma’s elimination and their performance in ONE Esports Singapore Major, as well as both seasons of OGA DPC, pushed them to The International.

There are six more slots for The International, which will be occupied by the winners of the Regional Qualifiers.

Yesterday at E3 Ubisoft presented their annual Ubisoft forward where the company revealed various details about the upcoming sequel to the very popular Far Cry series. With Far Cry 6 just months away from the launch, the final game is almost ready and Ubisoft is working towards post-game support and content. 

The company revealed the starting cinematic scene and post-launch plans for Far Cry 6. In a trailer during the Ubisoft Forward presentation, Ubisoft revealed the extra paid content (Season Pass) that will enable players to take on the roles of the primary antagonists from previous Far Cry releases. 

Yes, you heard it right you can play as villains from the previous Far Cry series which includes Vaas from Far Cry 3, Pagan from Far Cry 4, and Joseph from Far Cry 5. Along with the Character skin, Ubisoft is also adding special dialogues and items that will be specific to these villains. Like Joseph from Far Cry 5 shoving his religious book into enemies face. 

From the trailer, it seems like we will be getting a dedicated side story mode where we will get to play as the villains from the previous series. It looks like the villains are trapped inside a weird world where they are reliving the events of their bad deeds from the previous games.  Like Vaas getting thrown off a cliff in a sea with his legs tied to a stone, similar to how Vaas tried to kill the protagonist in Far Cry 3. 

The trailer looks interesting and just goes on to show how much “fu***d up” their minds were in real life. 

Apart from the addition of 3 villains, Ubisoft also announced that the Season pass will also include a copy of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon — a spinoff game that put players in a, 1980s action-hero-inspired virtual synthwave filled world. You play as the protagonist, Rex “Power” Colt, a cyborg who goes to an island filled with vicious creators called Blood Dragons to exact revenge.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is also getting a Netflix adaption animated series by Adi Shankar and Bobbypills Studios. The series is called Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix.
