Free Fire star Crusher Fooxi’s kidnappers caught in Sao Paulo

Brazilian Pubstar and the extremely popular Free Fire YouTuber “Crusher Fooxi” recently revealed on Twitter that he had been kidnapped and had to pay more than R$100,000 to be released.

The famous FreeFire content creator who has more than 623k followers on twitch and a 4.8M+ Subscriber Base on youtube took to Twitter on the 19th of August to reveal to his fans that he had been kidnapped in Sau Paulo.

He said he was mugged and robbed by the kidnappers who apparently knew all the relevant details and on the basis of their clean crime everything was on his schedule. Eventually when he was able to regain access to his social media handles, and on the police investigation, the probe has ensured the kidnappers are under custody.

The kidnappers asked him to transfer R$35000 at first to their bank accounts, using the PIX payment system, a way created by the Central Bank Of Brazil to enable instant payments across the nation.

Other than this the cell phones, car stereos, and other valuables stolen have a combined value of more than R$70000 and on the investigation, the mishap occurred on the 18th of August.

The first kidnapper was nabbed on the 23rd of August and another was under question for providing shelter to the kidnappers apart from also giving them details about FOOXI as well. The event took a toll on the players mental health which he commented on saying :

Worst day of my life yesterday, I’ll be off for a few days and I’ll tell you what happened. I was kidnapped yesterday along with my girlfriend and her mother. We get the money back, but what about the psychological (loss) and the safety of walking around?

Regardless he is back home safely and all the stolen valuables have been recovered, however, he has been asked to be safe as the third person involved in the incident is still at loose but has been identified.

As the Mclaren x Freefire event goes ahead on full strength, the developers had taken to Instagram to keep the hype up for the event.

Along with the max throttle backpack, Cyber Neon, and other Mclaren cars introduced, there was one new addition to the game. The event is now officially called the FreeFire Mclaren Royale and also has one of the coolest-looking features in a while.

The feature is nothing other than an MVP animation which a player can see after being the MVP in a match or after getting a Booyah! (Most valuable player).

This involves your character jumping out of a car with swag and landing onto a position that will leave you wanting more.

Speaking of wanting more, as the 4nniversary event is coming to a close, the most awaited CS Cup challenge 2.0 was announced. The event will run in the game from 4th September 2021 till 5th September 2021. This features a lot of vouchers for the players to get during this duration.

The players simply have to participate in Clash squad matches to earn rewards. After completing the missions, players will be auto awarded.

  • Playing 1 match: 1 Gold royale voucher
  • Playing 2 matches: 2 Gold royale vouchers
  • Playing 3 matches: 3 Gold royale vouchers

After completing the missions while in-game, soon the rewards section will open up and they can be availed to go to the Gold Luck Royale wheel which based on luck will award you with cosmetics and weapon skins.

Well in order to redeem the rewards, there are some steps you need to follow:

  • Open the Garena Free Fire app and select the Clash Squad Cup game mode from the options.
  • Play 3 games and then navigate to the Calendar section of the game on the top-right side of the home screen.
  • After this, click on the 4th Anniversary tab on the top and then on the CS Cup on the left side.
  • Redeem them from this new page and the Vouchers will be directly sent to the Vault.

PMPL Season 4 Thailand Super Weekend 2 ended with Team Infinity finishing at the top of the overall standings. This is the second time in a row when any team managed to cross 200 points mark in the super weekend. With the completion of week 2, Team Infinity sits at the top of the leaderboard with massive leads from the second-positioned team.

The team scored a total of 205 points including 105 kill points. The second position was taken by Vampire Esports with 79 kills and 171 points followed by Sharper Esports with 72 kills and 162 points. Some big teams such as Valdus the Murder, RRQ, Bacon Time could not manage to enter into the top 5 positions.

TonyK from Faze Clan was the MVP of the Super weekend with 28 total eliminations and 7154 total damage. INFINnoozy was the next best player with 35 total eliminations and 6971 total damage. The top 5 MVP players list was dominated by the players of The Infinity.

How to kick bots from a private server?

  • Go to settings and enable developer console under the Game Settings.
  • After that, press (~) on your keyboard.
  • The console will pop up and there you need to write mp_limitteams 1 and press enter. This command basically avert the bots from rejoining the game.
  • Then open the console again and enter the mp_autoteambalance 0 command which don’t let the bots auto-balance.
  • Once you are done, enter the bot_kick command to kick all the bots from the server.
  • However, if you want to kick only T-side bots enter bot_kick t and for CT-side only enter bot_kick ct.

Battlegrounds Mobile India will not have emulator support

Krafton has clarified that their latest battle royale game called Battlegrounds Mobile India will not have any emulator support in the near future. The developers stated that they have no plans on supporting emulated version of BGMI. PUBG Mobile emulator version had a big player base in India but seemingly, they will need to shift on mobile devices for Battlegrounds Mobile India.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is very similar to PUBG Mobile and yet, it has a different framework and set of rules by which the game differs from the global version. It is molded to align better with the regional demands.

The developers recently published a list of FAQs, answering some of the most asked questions and in that list, it was revealed that Battlegrounds Mobile India will not have an emulator support. This stance is still temporary and Krafton might launch it but not in near future.

The reason for not providing an emulated support is due to the difficulties in monitoring the malpractices on such a platform. When asked if BGMI will have an emulated version, Krafton stated the following:

“Unfortunately, in emulator version, it is expected to happen easier the illegal actions such as falsification, etc. compared to the mobile environment. So there is currently no plan in terms of supporting emulator version. If there is any change upon support of emulator version, we will further inform you through another notice.”

Krafton has answered several other questions as well and many of the new features which are seen in PUBG Mobile are still under review or there are no plans on its release yet. You can read the entire segment by clicking here.

Riot Games has confirmed that they’re teaming up with renowned DJ, record producer, and songwriter Anton Zaslavski, who’s better known as Zedd in the music industry. While the finer details are yet to be revealed, Riot has teased the upcoming collab through a Tweet posted today. 

Zedd’s love for video games isn’t something that his fans don’t know about. The 32-year-old is an avid Valorant enthusiast and has previously shared his proud achievement of reaching Immortal rank in the competitive shooter in a Tweet. 

The Immortal rank in Valorant lies just under the rank of Radiant, which is the highest rank achievable in the tactical shooter. 

A Zedd-themed melee weapon had been teased in the Valorant Year One Anthem and it caught the eyes of Zedd fans worldwide. This collab might see Riot finally introducing it to the actual game.

Further details on the specifics of the collab will be announced tomorrow at 10am CT. However, fans are already suspecting that alongside a new skin line, an event might also be held dedicated to Zedd.

Riot Games has recently revealed the schedule of the upcoming Valorant Champions Tour Masters 2021 that’s all set to start from September 10th. However, as we had reported earlier, Filipino esports organization Bren Esports won’t be participating in the event since they were unable to acquire Visas. They’ll instead be awarded with 175 VCT points and the associated prize for qualifying for the event. 

VCT Masters Berlin: Schedule and Format

With Bren Esports not being able to participate in the tournament, the Group D matches will be held in a double round-robin format.

The group stages will be held from September 10 – September 16, and the playoffs will start September 17th. The grand finals of VCT Masters 2021 will take place on September 19th.

Nodwin Gaming‘s Valorant Conquerors Championship was the pinnacle of Valorant esports in the South Asian region. This tournament was backed by Riot Games, making it the first official Valorant tournament for the region and the fanbase witnessed the best competition India has to offer. Gillette ventured into Indian esports by joining hands with Nodwin Gaming and it created one of the most celebrated esports event in India.

Gillette is an American brand of safety razors and other personal care products and its Indian subsidiary entered into a new market by partnering up with Nodwin Gaming. They hosted VCC and best teams from the entire South Asian region participated in it. Indian teams overpowered most of its competition and put up an incredible show for the audience.

The new FPS title by Riot Games gained a lot of popularity in India since its launch and ultimately, its allied esports scene grew as well. This resulted into India being the home for multiple top-tier teams and hence, they dominated in Valorant Conquerors Championship 2021.

Gillette contributed in Indian esports for very first time and helped Nodwin Gaming in hosting a successful Valorant tournament. Gillette is also actively marketing in the Indian gaming community by sponsoring certain individuals like 8Bit Thug, Scout and Ghatak on different occasions.

Valorant Conquerors Championship opened a pathway for professional Indian teams to prove their mettle and tread a tough road to qualify for VCT 2021 via APAC last chance qualifiers.

The VCC grand finals was a clash between two Goliaths in the form of Global Esports and Velocity Gaming. Both of these teams have been dominating in India and they proved their worth in front of the entire South Asia.

This best-of-five match saw a fierce battle between Global and Velocity but the former played their cards correctly in the last map and ultimately secured a ticket to APAC Last Chance Qualifiers.

Horizon: Forbidden West was originally set to release later this year but got pushed to early 2022 in an announcement during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. While pre-orders recently went live, Sony faced criticism after the company announced the following on PlayStation’s blog post,

For players looking to have access to both the PS4 & PS5 versions of Horizon Forbidden West, please purchase the Digital Deluxe, Collector’s, or Regalla Editions. Dual entitlement does not apply to the standard and Special Editions.

This meant that owners of the PS4 Standard Edition of the game could not upgrade to the PS5 version, despite being promised the opposite during PS5’s launch, forcing players to spend extra on the Digital Deluxe Edition, Collector’s, or Regalla Edition as all three offered a free next-gen upgrade. 

Sony has now back-tracked on their decision, as Jim Ryan, Sony’s President & CEO, states “players who purchase Horizon Forbidden West on PlayStation 4 will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free.” Furthermore, all future (digital & physical) cross-gen titles will require a $10 upgrade fee, this includes the upcoming God of War sequel and Gran Turismo 7.
