During Minecraft Live 2021, Mojang announced a new PC-only “Minecraft PC Bundle” that will include both Minecraft Java and Bedrock Editon that will give access to both games at the same time through the Minecraft launcher.

As per the announcement, the Minecraft PC Bundle will first be available for Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers (as well as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers) starting 2nd Nov 2021. The Minecraft PC Bundle will officially launch in full at some point in 2022 on Microsoft Store and 3rd party stores. Mojang hasn’t revealed any date for the release yet or whether Minecraft will be coming to Steam in 2022.

Mojang also announced that players who have previously purchased either Minecraft: Java Edition or Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for PC will gain access to the other edition of the game they don’t have for free once the bundle retails in 2022. Do note that Java Edition players will need to migrate their Mojang Account to a Microsoft Account on their Minecraft.net profile page to get access to Bedrock Edition once the PC bundle releases.

Just that the PC bundle release will add both games to the Minecraft Launcher and allow players to choose between the version they want to play without a headache of launching another game launcher or changing account. While both games have their pros and cons, the extended accessibility of the PC bundle will enable players to experience both games anew. Plus with the Xbox Game Pass PC players can play both games without any restraint.

Your Steam And Epic Accounts Are At Risk, BloodyStealer A New Trojan Targets Popular Online Gaming Platforms

0

Recently, Kaspersky Lab famous for its antivirus products released a press release in which they mentioned a new trojan making waves on the internet that specifically attacks popular online gaming platforms and steals critical user information.

As per researchers at Kaspersky, an advanced trojan dubbed “The BloodyStealer”, is being sold at darknet forums and other illegal websites. The BloodyStealer is a Trojan-stealer capable of gathering and exfiltrating various types of data, including cookies, passwords, forms, bank cards from browsers, screenshots, log-in memory, and sessions from various applications. These specifically include gaming platforms, such as EpicGames, Origin, and Steam. It has advanced built-in features to avoid analysis and detection, a low subscription price, and some interesting capabilities to hide its tracks.

Kaspersky’s research illustrated that accounts with high worth inventories and/or games are in demand on the darknet. Darknet also has sellers that are providing combinations of gaming logins and passwords to popular platforms such as Steam, Origin, Ubisoft, or EpicGames for as cheaply as $14.20 per thousand accounts, and for 1-30% of an account’s value when sold individually. The researchers speculated that these accounts come from the rise in cases of BloodyStealer victims and other similar cybercriminal campaigns employing similar types of keyloggers or trojans.

The trojan was first spotted by researchers in March, where it was advertised on darknet forums as being capable of evading detection and protected against reverse engineering and malware analysis in general. BloodyStealer was sold in the underground forums at an attractive price of less than $10 for a 1-month subscription or $40 for a lifetime subscription. Kaspersky experts detected attacks of BloodyStealer being used in only some places in Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region since March.

The report recommended some prevention methods such as

1. Using a two-factor authentication where possible.

2. Not clicking on any links to external sites from the game chat, and carefully checking the address of any resource that requests you enter your username and password; the page may be fake

3. Avoid downloading any pirated software and game even if you are redirected to the webpage from a well-known and legitimate website.

4. Using a strong, reliable security solution for all your devices and monitor for unwanted internet activity.

Initially of ENCE, allu has joined Complexity on loan for the ongoing IEM Winter closed qualifier to help the doomed Benjamin “blameF” Bremer led side at the said event. After a string of poor showings and a failed Regional Major Ranking (RMR) run, FunPlus Phoenix aims to bring in the fresh air.

Jonatan “Devilwalk” Lundberg, the head coach at FPX Esports has been released from his duties, the Chinese-European Organization announced today on Twitter. This change in the ranks of FPX CSGO comes after the team’s failed attempt to make it out of the RMR event (IEM XVI: Fall Europe) ahead of the forthcoming PGL major as the decision to re-evaluate their coaching options has been given a thought at the Luka “emi” Vuković led camp.

Devilwalk has been with the core of FPX mainly Martin “STYKO” Styk, Jesse “zehN” Linjala, and Pavle “maden” Bošković since their time at NoChance and were acquired by SMASH Esports, GODSENT in 2019 and later by FunPlus Phoenix in 2021. Asmongold taking a break following saving his mom from fire outbreak

0

Not even a week after returning to Twitch, Asmongold has announced another break on 7th October after his mother was caught in a terrifying fire caused by an oxygen tank igniting.

The break will be an indefinite hiatus and for good reason. With his mother involved in a terrible accident, Asmongold did not have a nice time during his live stream, while chilling with viewers, he heard a loud crash from his mother’s room and rush towards it, only to find her trapped in the fire.

The fire according to him was caused by his mother smoking too close to her oxygen machine.

“The fire was on the little oxygen tube, it was going to the tank. It was like some kind of cartoon where the fire is going to the bomb… I immediately turned off the tank, I was able to stop it from exploding and all that. Then I put the fire out that was on the floor. It was everywhere.

“I freaked out. I didn’t know if she was going to live.

“It’s one of the scariest experiences I’ve had in my life. I don’t think I’ll ever forget it. I can’t even wrap my head around how the stars aligned for me to be there.” he explained.

“I’ll be back when I’ll be back,” he concluded.

Asmon will take the break till he recovers from the shock of the incident thus his fans need to wait a bit longer to have him back for good, but no one knows what the future has in store.

Xyp9x extends Astralis contract till 2025

0

Despite speculations suggesting a move away from the Danish powerhouse, Andreas ‘Xyp9x’ Højsleth has extended his contract for 4 more years till 2025.

One of the most decorated players of all time, Xyp9x will continue for the Danish side after the PGL Major though sources indicated Astralis eyeing k0nfig as a replacement. Højsleth was part of the Astralis’s golden era, where the roster brought home 4 majors.

While Astralis dominated the world as Xyp9x made a name for himself as the most feared player in clutch situations. The Dane was known for his incredible ability to turn 1vX situations in the favor of his team.

“It is no secret that I had other options, but I am truly excited that we have come to an agreement that means I can stay right here, where I feel at home,” he said. “With my future settled, I can now use all my energy and focus to get the team back where we belong, starting with the coming tournament in Stockholm.

“I have had a lot of honest talks with the organization about ambitions and expectations, where Astralis is today, and the direction we’re moving in.

“I have a really good feeling about the development of the team and organization, and I have no doubt Astralis will have an exceptionally strong position in the coming years. I am equally happy and proud to be a big part of that development.”

The roster went through some serious changes throughout the entirety of 2021; Xyp9x sticking with the roster for 4 more years is certainly a confidence booster as the team prepares for the major in the coming weeks.

Free Fire: How to get a V-Badge

Free Fire is a popular battle royale game and has amassed millions of daily active players in the past few years. A fraction of this popularity is due to its big number of content creators which stream and upload regular Free Fire content. The developers have recently came up with a new way to award their creators in the form of Partner program.

There are large number of Free Fire content creators and not everybody is cut to be the best entertainer but a handful who manage to complete certain criterion can apply for this program. Creators which are selected by Garena receive a token of appreciation in the form of V-Badge.

xQc is finally back in Los Angeles but his first stream following his return was far from ideal with his stream abruptly coming to an end.

Fans were left in surprise when xQc’s stream ended long before it was supposed to, which sparked speculations that maybe he was swatted on his return to LA. His decision to move away from LA was triggered by fans harassing him, but his desire to live closer to his friends and fellow streamers made it easy for him to return.

xQc later announced that it was his internet that was disconnected halfway into the stream which forced him to quit it.

“OF COURSE, IT WOULDNT BE A TYPICAL LOCATION MOVE IF THE INTERNET DIDNT GO OUT ON THE FIRST DAY. I’LL BE BACK IN THE MORNING, THANKS FOR TUNING IN REGARDLESS SEE YOU GUYS THEN ” said xQc.

He will be back in action the following day and hope that his internet sticks by him. xQc’s legion of fans was excited to have him back to LA but his first day was far from ideal.

EXTREMUM bench CSGO roster

The ex-100 Thieves quartet and Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand find themselves on the bench at EXTREMUM after spending just eight months with the European Organization.

EXTREMUM on Twitter have announced the benching of their current CSGO squad in the wake of the defeat suffered at the hand of Evil Geniuses in the North American RMR event for the final spot at the forthcoming PGL Stockholm Major 2021.

As said, EXTREMUM picked up Aaron “AZR” Ward, Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad, Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas, Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai when the quartet were in search for a new home after being released by 100 Thieves in October 2020. The team then went on to add BnTeT, an inactive player for Gen.G Esports and re-sign a familiar coach in the face of Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović who had previously mentored the 100 Thieves roster.

Having been forced to start from scratch, EXTREMUM led by AZR never got to play in top-tier tournaments and were only seen playing in championship cups like Pinnacle and a plethora of tournaments organized by Relog media. They opted to battle out at the North American RMR events where they finished third at the Cs_summit 8 North America and bagged a total of 1400 points towards the PGL Major, to be held later in Stockholm. Although defeats to paiN and Team Liquid did cost them their major spot, as they were further denied the same by Evil Geniuses in the decider.

The European organization decided to call it quits on their then-current roster and cited their loss to EG as the lone concern which indeed sabotaged their goal to book a seat at the major.
