Guardians of The Galaxy PC System Requirements

Eidos Montreal’s Guardians of the Galaxy is less than 9 days away from launch, with a linear storyline and multiple choices, the game sports a unique yet vibrant aesthetic as you join Star  Lord’s journey across multiple planets on the quest to stop the Church of Truth.

And it seems like the game will be quite lenient in terms of system requirements as its Steam page has been updated with both, minimum and recommended PC specifications.

Given how the game also supports Ray Tracing and DLSS, Square Enix has not yet shared the minimum or recommended requirements to enable RT features.

The game also seems to be heavy on storage thanks to its 150GB requirement, it could be because it supports up to 8K textures and assets. 

Guardians of The Galaxy releases on Steam, Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store on 26 October 2021.

The second day of the long-awaited PMPL South Asia 2021 finals finished with Deadeyes Guys securing the number one spot in the leaderboard. The team got a total of 164 points including the 82 kill points along with two chicken dinners. DRS Gaming finished at the second position with 128 points, followed by Vibes Esports with 116 points.

With just one day left in the conclusion of the PMPL South Asia finals, all teams were looking out to finish in the top 6 position and qualify for the PMPL MENA & SA Championship. A total of 6 matches will be played on the last day.

TSM Wild Rift roster fined for abusive behavior

The Wild Rift roster of TSM FTX has been charged with a fine of 7000 Brazilian Real or $1,283 for violating some rules at Wild Tour 2021 finals. According to the official reading, TSM athlete Pedro “Anak” Ribeiro behaved offensively on live platform and due to that, the player as well as organization are penalized.

Riot Games is currently hosting multiple regional tournaments that will collectively give seeding slots for their first ever international event, Horizon Cup. The Brazilian qualifiers are called Wild Tour 2021 and TSM has emerged victorious in this tournamemt.

During the finals event, their athlete Pedro “Anak” Ribeiro misbehaved on a live stream by making inappropriate gestures at their opponents. Riot Games quickly took action on this rude behavior and charged the player as well as TSM for making an obscene incident on live stream.

The official reading says:

“On 10/10/2021, the Season Officials identified an abusive behavior carried out by TSM members during the competition, causing damage to Riot facilities. After this happened, the athlete Pedro “Anak” Ribeiro, from the TSM team, had an offensive behavior during the celebration of the title on the competition stage, making insulting gestures to the camera, directly reaching the fair play. We expect team members to maintain a cordial and respectful behavior both in and out of the game, and we cannot tolerate abusive behavior and any kind of offensive language. Such conduct is considered serious and violates official Wild Tour regulations. This kind of attitude will always be seriously evaluated and punished accordingly.”

Riot Games have taken these actions on the basis of rule 16.11 Disruptive Behavior/Insults and rule 16.12 Abusive Behavior from their official rule book.

This clearly states that Anak was rude to his opponents and Riot Games will not entertain such actions to maintain competitive integrity and respect. As a result of this offence, the team was also suspended from official Wild Rift tournaments for two days.

Wizzes with Vibes wins PMPL South Asia 2021 finals, Top 6 teams qualify for MENA & SA Championship

The final day of the PMPL South Asia Season 4 finals ended with Wizzes with Vibes winning it with 187 points. The team managed to take 85 kills out of the 18 matches played. The squad also got 102 placement points with 2 chicken dinners. A total of $55,000 USD was spread among the teams and players in the PMPL South Asia finals. Wizzes with Vibes took home $10,000 for winning the finals. Top from Stalwart Esports was picked as the MVP of the finals for his outstanding gun skills throughout the event.

Deadeyes Guys finished at the 2nd spot with 187 points including the 92 kill points. Although the top two teams had same points, Wizzes with Vibes took the first position due to high placement points. The third spot on the leaderboard was taken by Vibes Esports with 181 points.

Zeus Esports who got placed third in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship Season 0: Finals could not qualify for the PMPL MENA & SA Championship. It was a major setback for the team and a shocking results for the fans who were expecting top 3 finishes from the team. A1 Esports, Trained to Kill and Future Station 1952 could not make their way through the next event.

PMPL MENA & SOUTH ASIA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFICATION

Valentin ‘poizon’ Vasilev. AWPer for Complexity for the last 21 months will no longer be a part of the team. Via a twitter announcement, Complexity thanked him for his services and wished him good luck in future projects.

The move comes after middling performances over the course of last year, with Complexity winning only 1 event throughout the online era. Complexity failed to qualify for the PGL Major in Stockholm and also bombed out of the BLAST Fall Circuit after being 16-0’d twice in less than a month, once by FaZe and then again by OG.

The juggernaut that was built by CEO Jason Lake, is only a shadow of it’s former self with Benjamin ‘blameF’ Bremer being the only remaining member from the squad. The roster shocked everyone with their performances at BLAST Spring Series 2020, beating Astralis at their own game.

They went on to win BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2020 over Team VItality as well, to prove that they weren’t a meme anymore. But it all went downhill from there as injuries and using stand-ins stagnated their performances. The downfall started with the departure of Owen ‘oBo’ Schlatter and the team couldn’t find a suitable replacement in the form of Justin ‘jks’ Savage.

The departures of RUSH and k0nfig and the addition of coldzera didn’t seem to solve their problems, hence inspiring the move for the Bulgarian AWPer as well. It will be interesting to see who Complexity picks up to fill his shoes, with a plethora of good AWPers available at the moment.

Heroic Cleared of All Charges in ESIC Investigation

ESIC have completed their investigation of Nicolai ‘HUNDEN’ Petersen’s latest claims regarding the coach bug abuse. In his new claims ‘HUNDEN’ claimed that teammates Nikolaj ‘niko’ Kristensen and Rene ‘TeSeS’ Madsen were aware of his use of the bug and that they helped him use it during games.

The investigation lasted longer than a month, with the ESIC going through match logs and TeamSpeak logs. In the findings, the members of Heroic – Casper ‘cadiaN’ Moller, Rene ‘TeSeS’ Madsen, Martin ‘stavn’ Lund and Johannes ‘b0RUP’ Borup were cleared of all charges as they had no involvement in the usage of the coach bug by ‘HUNDEN’.

While ex-Heroic and current OG player, niko, received a light punishment as he admitted to the guilt as well as the special circumstances in which he was made complicit in the coach bug abuse. niko suffers from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Asperger’s syndrome. ‘HUNDEN’ knew of this and manipulated niko heavily, knowing he would trust him as he had been a teammate and an individual he trusted for so long.

As per the disciplinary punishment, niko will receive:

1. A severe public reprimand for his behaviour

2. A warning as to future conduct with severe consequences for any future breach of the ESIC Integrity Program

3. Mandatory attendance at two one on one education sessions with the ESIC Commissioner of minimum 30 mins duration each

4. A minimum 15-minute check in with the Commissioner every month for a minimum of six months to ensure he has understood and is complying with the ESIC Integrity Program and to offer him support for any issues he might be having in this respect

If he fails to comply, niko will receive a 30-day ban at ESIC commissioned events.

As for the claims that ‘TeSeS’ knowingly boosted HUNDEN in a bugged position, ESIC found no evidence of TeSeS knowing what he was doing, as he didnt have an idea of the motive and just did what his coach asked him to do.

Team Soul is a household name for every mobile gamer in India and their Battlegrounds Mobile India roster was one of the most hyped announcements in the mobile esports community. The BGMI roster has been underperforming for a long time and Soul Mortal recently addressed this issue on his stream and stated that the team will be parting ways in the future.

Team Soul currently has star players under its BGMI wing with Sid Joshi as their manager. Mavi and Scout joined the core of Team Soul when Battlegrounds Mobile India was launched in the country and soon afterwards, they officially revealed their competitive roster.

The roster currently hosts Scout, Mavi, Mortal, Regaltos and Viper with frequent additions of Aman to the roster. Recently there were rumours that OR Gill will be joining the roster soon and even though he is currently a free agent after his departure from Orange Rock, Mortal has revealed some new plans for their BGMI roster.

Team Soul was once reckoned as the best PUBG Mobile team in India after their miracle run when PUBG Mobile esports was budding in India. The team did not regain their former glory after the competition grew in the country but after the announcement of this roster, the fans were hoping for a revival of their former glory.

Soul has not delivered up to the expectations and this is apparently due to synergy issues between the team. Mortal spoke up about these issues and stated that the roster is not synchronizing well and hence will be disbanded very soon. Scout and Mavi could play from a different team but will remain a part of S8UL.

BGMI officials have not conducted any official tournaments yet but they have announced BGIS with a large prize pool of ₹1 Crore. Professional Indian teams are preparing for this tournament and Team Soul is one of them. This new roster included a blend of raw firepower and incredible strategic mind but this combination has not been working for the team.

Mortal also revealed that Team Soul is not quitting from competitive BGMI as the core team will still include Viper and Regaltos. The future is unclear as the organization has not made any official announcement yet.

The International 10 could be Ceb’s last tournament

After OG Esports’ loss at the hands of Team Spirit in the lower bracket, not only their 3-peat chance of running away with yet another Ti was sabotaged, a tweet from Sebastian “Ceb” Debs probably hinted at his retirement from professional Dota 2. 

Initially, Ceb came out of retirement back in mid-2020, replacing Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan as the Frenchman felt out to be a waste of time when not playing with the members of the team and decided to get back into competition. Across the time with Ceb, N0tail, midOne, Saksa, and Topson on the roster, OG never found their place at the top which later saw the team release midOne and bring back Anathan “ana” Pham. OG made their way to The International 10 through the Western Europe Qualifier of the marquee event, taking down Tundra Esports in the Grand Finals, and had made a last-minute addition in the face of Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan who then filled in for Anathan “ana” Pham who chose to retire prior to the Qualifier event. 

OG indeed battled out the cut-throat Western Europe Qualifier and looked pumped ahead of the Ti 10  but ran out of luck as their journey was shortened first by Team Secret and Team Spirit in the Upper and Lower Brackets respectively. In a post-game tweet, Mr. Sebastian Debs thanked the fans, staff, and friends for believing in him and the entire team and reckoned his efforts to be not enough at his last tournament hinting towards a probable retirement from the game.

Ceb joined OG Esports in 2016 as the team’s head coach only to play for the team before Ti8 in the wake of a major roster revamp. With Ceb, OG went on to win back-to-back Internationals making them the only team to have won two in succession. Later in 2021, despite an urgent eye surgery, Ceb opted to compete at The International 10 and not sit out.

Team Spirit the massive underdogs shock the world, beat PSG.LGD to win The International 10

Right from making it into the regional qualifiers by one teeth rattling game, with a 0-4 start the group stage, pushing forward through the lower bracket defeating defending champions , to strong team players RU team Team spirit held their ground against PSG.LGD in a best of 5 and in a beautiful cinderella story won the Aegis of the Champions and made history at the Dota 2’s International 10.

Led by Miposhka, the only player on the team who has ever attended a TI before, Russian Team Spirit are the first CIS team to win The International since Na’Vi did it a decade ago at TI1. They take home $18,208,300 of the more than $40 million prize pool in a grand final worthy of the TI main stage.

Since the beginning of the tournament, their go-heroes, their own set tempo and playing their comfort style map control, had set a statement making them a dark horse at the International whose strategies couldn’t be figured out. LGD for two games fought hard and got some matches but their inability to scale there strats later on gave Team spirit an advantage in a few big teamfights that happened later in the tiebreaker 5th match of the series. Ame’s Ursa was completely dealt with and left LGD with 5 kills. THATS RIGHT 5 KILLS for the whole game.

When the best of one was at stake for the 18$ million prize pool, LGD’s meta setting Tiny lycan combo was dropped out, they set the pace with a very intuitive lead and styling mojo , until one teamfight showed them what they weren’t capable of.

A slow death of LGD began there. The magnus (Collapse.TS) with his insane horn tosses picked them off one by one back to back and retreated before PSG could respond.

LGD lost a fight near the Rosh pit, AME died with no buyback and Spirit simply ignored rosh and rushed the ancient to win TI10.

Throughout their run, the CIS team Spirit defeated Fnatic, OG, Virtus.pro, Invictus Gaming, Team Secret, and LGD. Now, they lift the Aegis, bringing it back to Eastern Europe for the first time in a decade and proving that anything can happen if a team fights together.

Sadly for  LGD, this was their third straight season falling one step short of the title, having placed second at TI8 and third at TI9. They will be back to challenge the world once more in the next DPC season, hungry for blood and break their curse similar to Team Secret this TI  and bring the Aegis back to China.
