CSGO2ASIA together with FACEIT launch servers in Mumbai

CSGO2ASIA has announced the launch of a new hub dedicated to Indian players. CAL India is officially launching on October 22nd and will be equipped with separate leaderboards and prizes, as well as two distinct divisions. The CAL India server will be hosted on FACEIT’s dedicated Mumbai server.

The CAL India server is equipped with standard features like 128-tick rate servers, competition rules, obligatory anti-cheat use, and dedicated admin support. A custom made CAL BOT is also added to the server which automatically matches the players to voice rooms in the CAL’s Discord Server.

The dedicated Mumbai server will ensure a consistent low ping for South Asian players to provide a fair-play environment. The CAL India server will be quite different from the regular CAL hubs.

CAL India Server will have two divisions with each one accommodating players according to their skill levels. Players would be segregated in two divisions. Division One will include players will similar skill levels, ranging from level 6 to 10 while Division Two will host players from Level 1 to 5.

Players can grind their way up from the second division and face a more fierce competition with each subsequent level.

The CAL India inaugural season starts on November 1st with the pre-season leaderboards beginning on October 22nd. Players can participate in the pre-season event and have a chance of winning a chunk from ₹10,000 and 200,000 FACEIT points prize pool. Nikhil ”nikH” Hathiramani, Founder and Chief-Editor of CSGO2ASIA, commented on this launch. He said, “Since 2018, the league has grown tremendously and we’re fortunate to still be active in CS:GO despite the lack of progression in our region. CAL India has been a long while in the making, and we’re thrilled that our partners at FACEIT could make it happen, even if it’s come later than everyone expected!”

The Pre Season event prize pool will be distributed as follows. Players can participate by playing on the CAL FACEIT hubs and check the standings through the leaderboard system.

PGL Stockholm Major: Virtus.pro replace SANJI with FL1T

The CIS Organization has made a last minute roster change ahead of their PGL Stockholm Major campaign.

Virtus.pro on Twitter have announced that they replaced Sanjar “SANJI” Kuliev with Evgeny “FL1T” Lebedev and have confirmed the following roster change would be put into effect for their upcoming fixture against paiN Gaming in the Challengers stage of the forthcoming PGL CS:GO Major. FL1T was recently placed on the bench by forZe as the latter were unable to qualify for the major. (Note : Virtus.pro have been charged 20% of their RMR rating and have exchanged places with Entropiq on the final match-ups list)

After spending nearly two and a half years with Virtus.pro (previously AVANGAR), SANJI has been cut off from the active squad of Virtus.pro in the wake of middling showings across a plethora of tournaments most notably at the ESL Pro League Season 14 where the Dzhami “Jame” Ali placed in the 13th-14th position followed by a Quarter Final defeat at the hands of Team Liquid at the recently concluded BLAST  Premier Fall Showdown. Although Vitrus.pro made it to the PGL Stockholm major, they were only able to secure a contenders spot at the same and would now need to battle out against some top tier teams to make through to the legends stage.


SANJI in the colors of AVANGAR

Formerly AVANGAR, SANJI and team got on a dream run all they way to the finals of the StarLadder Berlin Major despite the fact of having a heavy under-dog tag before going into the event. Soon later they were picked up by Virtus.pro in the second half of 2019 and lived by the prestigious banner by winning the FLASHPOINT Season 2 alongside the Cs_summit 7 in quick succession. The overall performance of Virtus.pro started to dwindle and were never able to sing along with the rhythm, the likes of which we saw during 2019.

As suggested on their website blog, Sergey Glamazda, CEO at Virtus.pro has ruled out this roster change as a permanent shuffle and is yet to determine the fate of SANJI post the conclusion of the PGL Major.

“The Major is the biggest event in CS:GO, the one we’ve been waiting for two years. It’s incredibly important for the club and our fans. We want to achieve the best possible result, and in order to do so the team needs a new impulse. An opportunity to play with Evgeny arose and we decided to seize it. We hope that this will be the impulse we need to play at the peak of our abilities. 

No decisions regarding the future of our roster have been made for now. Everything will be clear after the Major when the dust is settled. I want to thank Sanjar. We’ve won tournaments, got into the top-3 of HLTV rankings, and qualified for the Major with him being in our ranks. Our current roster has already achieved a lot and this temporary change should help us reach even higher goals that we set for ourselves.”

T1 Valorant: Brax steps down, to take up content creation

The 25-year-old North American has decided to step back from competitive play and take up streaming on a full-time basis.

Braxton “brax” Pierce who was signed by the Korean-American organization T1 in March 2020 was the first-ever player, recruited by a team for their Valorant division with the game still being in its beta phase. In February 2021, he alongside Keven ‘AZK’ Larivière by T1 were released in an aftermath of the team’s poor showings eventually making way for Timothy ‘Autimatic’ Ta and Rahul ‘Curry’ Nemani to the active lineup. Soon later he found himself among the ranks of Team SoloMid only to feature back in T1’s starting lineup. 

Ever since the overhaul of their roster, T1 were yet unable to fetch their place at the top, failing to qualify for any of the VCT organized events throughout 2021. Today Brax, through a twitlonger, has decided to step back from T1’s active Valorant squad and would instead focus on content creation within the organization. 

As much as I love competing, I am super excited to get back on the stream grind and be with my awesome community again. For those asking where I’ve been I’ve deemed it super necessary to take a step back and focus on my personal life and essentially finding my happiness again after a crazy year of ups and downs both in and out of game

While Brax transitions to full-time streaming, TalkEsport is thrilled to report T1 sign Zander “thwifo” Kim who would replace brax on the roster. thwifo initially played for Team XSET, with his most notable achievements with the latter would be the championship at the NSG x Complexity Invitational followed by a second place finish at the VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers 1 which further helped XSET move on to the Challengers playoffs of the same. 

I want to thank Joe Marsh, Wawa, and all of T1 for making this transition so smoothly and I’m happy I can still represent this legendary org even if it’s through a different lens. I’ll be streaming Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM CST starting next week. I’ll probably experiment with night streams as well.

Thank you for the continued support on this journey and I’m excited to take this to the next level and see where it goes because I know the opportunities are endless!!

G2 Esports sign an all female Valorant roster

G2 esports have revealed an all-female Valorant roster featuring ex-professionals from Counter Strike.

G2 Esports is an European esports organization founded by Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez currently located in Berlin, Germany. The organization is currently ventured in Counter Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, Valorant,Known as G2 Gozen, the Spanish based side have signed “The Originals”, an orgless Female Valorant team led by Julia “juliano” Kiran featuring Zainab “zAAz” Turkie, Petra “Petra” Stoker, Michaela “mimi” Lintrup and Anja “aNNja” Vasalic ahead of the 2022 pro circuit. The quartet of juliano, zAAz, Petra and mimi have previously spent time on the Counter Strike : Global Offensive roster of Team XSET while signing aNNja will be a fresh addition to the roster. 

As stated on their blog, the G2 Gozen roster fields the best female Valorant players from across the globe as their goal is to empower men and women to compete alongside each other in mixed leagues. With the signing of a Female Valorant team, G2 looks forward to providing strength and skill to the organization and would strive to hire the best and highest performing gamers in the industry to compete at the highest level possible, irrespective of gender identity.

To me they aren’t a female team, they are our VALORANT team.  At G2, we build teams and bring in players based on skill and brand fit. These are amongst the best female players in the world and we’re proud to have them.  We’ll support them all the way, as we support all our teams, and look forward to seeing them grow and kick some ass as part of the G2 army.

Players May Face Disqualification from PGL Major if Found Covid Positive

With the PGL Major just 5 days away now, the Romanian TO has passed their official ruling regarding the safety and precautionary measures to be taken to ensure smooth functioning of the event.

In the ruling communicated to the teams, PGL asked all the teams, players and the staff involved to follow the Swedish Health Protocols at all times. With regards to a player returning a positive test the ruling states that the player “may not be able to continue playing in the tournament and may be disqualified”. There are no particular restrictions on what the team members can do during their free time but they may be subject to penalties or disqualification if found guilty of endangering themselves and others around them, putting the tournament at risk.

Unlike the previous LANs hosted by ESL in the form of IEM Cologne 2021 and IEM Fall RMR, where players had the option to play from their hotel rooms if they tested positive, PGL doesnt allow players to do that as the Major is an arena event set to take place inside the Aviici Arena with a crowd.

All these mandates and regulations must be followed by teams, as any laziness by them could put others at risk of contracting the virus as well as putting  PGL in jeopardy, as they had to fight tooth and nail with the Swedish Government to make sure that the event could take place in Stockholm.

PGL Major Stockholm starts on 26th October, with the New Challengers Stage.

CSGO Servers Are Down Right Now 22nd October 2021

On October 22nd, CSGO players across the Globe reported outages of the game servers. It’s still unclear what caused the outage, but it could be due to a number of reasons.

The first and common cause of server outages is a new update. When a new update is shipped to the game, the servers can go down for a short while. However, in case of an update, the servers can be up quite quickly.

Another reason behind server outages may be a technical fault in Valve’s servers. This is very unlikely to happen but has happened on more than one occasion in the past.

In case you’re finding yourself unable to launch CSGO or join a game, you can check for yourself if CSGO servers are down.

Peacekeeper Elite League is the official Chinese league of the “Peacekeeper Elite” a Chinese rebranded version of the famous mobile game “PUBG Mobile“. PEL Season 4 is going on with the best Peacekeeper Elite teams of the region. We have our top 20 Chinese teams that will be playing in the Peace Elite League (PEL) 2021 Season 4.

PEL 2021 Season 4 is scheduled to start from today, 21st October 2021. It will be a five-week-long event where the teams will be competing for a massive prize pool and PMGC qualification. The PEL S4 Regular Season will be played for 5 weeks where the top 15 teams will qualify for the finals.

The PEL Season 4 finals is scheduled to take place from November 25th – November 28th, 2021. Each team will play a total of 20 matches (5 matches each day) which will determine the PEL Season 4 champions.

PMGC 2021 Qualfication

In each season of Peacekeeper Elite League 2021, the top eight teams from each event will earn Championship Points. The Championship Point values increase with each season’s multiplier effect. After the completion of all seasons, the top two teams with highest CPs will qualify for PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021.

Here are the top three teams that have the maximum championship points after the completion of PEL Season 3 finals.

The ninth season of Call of Duty Mobile is around the corner where the players will be celebrating the gruesome holiday in a big way. The new season brings two new maps, the return of Undead Siege, the Trick or Treat-themed event, a brand-new Battle Pass, and much more.

The players need to gear up for Halloween Standoff and Hovec Sawmill in Multiplayer and celebrate the return of Undead Siege with a new Halloween theme, go door to door in the Trick or Treat event. Call of Duty Mobile Season 9 will bring the worst nightmare to the life which will go live on October 21 at 5 PM PT. 

New Rewards in the Nightmare Battle Pass

Season 9 is packed with horror-themed content in a brand-new Battle Pass, including free and premium items like new Operators, a new functional weapon, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, Charms, Call of Duty Points, and more.

Trick or Treat! Themed Event

Knock-knock. Trick or treat! Go door to door and try your luck. If you’re tricked, complete an in-game task to get your candy; if you’re treated, get the candy right away. Candy awards event XP, progressing you through the event track with milestone rewards along the way. Set your own room to trick or treat, and visit your friends’ rooms, too.

Undead Siege Returns, Plus Other Limited-Time Halloween Modes

Prepare to fight off the undead once again when Season 9 returns with a new Halloween-inspired Undead Siege on Isolated. Face off against more zombie types in casual mode, like the Warden, the Heavy Gunner, and the Pulverizer, and try your luck in the new daytime escort quest. Also, compete in 10v10 Pumpkin Confirmed and in the Battle Royale experience Isolated at night, plus new zombie scares in Blackout.

New Multiplayer Mode: Drop Zone

Get ready for mayhem. In this new mode, first introduced in Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare 3, teams battle for dominance over a designated drop zone that rotates throughout the match. The only way to earn Scorestreaks is by holding the zone, prompting care packages to drop onto the map, offering a variety of armaments. Your team also earns more points for each player in the zone, so stack up…but watch those incoming grenades.

New Seasonal Challenges and Featured Events

New challenges bring new rewards like the Thumper, the next weapon in the Launcher class, and the Flash Drone, a tactical drone that blocks the enemy’s vision. Watch for the new Pumped Battle Royale class coming in a featured event — your Operator gains a jet pack, giving you new ways to navigate the map and engage in combat.

Clan Wars Updates

Season 9 doesn’t have a brand-new Clan Wars season, but it does come with a variety of important changes to the system. First, currency will be reset to zero and Store items, as of this season, will start to rotate out! But don’t worry, we’ll be making items easier to obtain this season and in upcoming ones with significantly increased Clan Wars currency rewards.

We’ll have more updates coming alongside new Clan Wars rewards in Season 10, but for now dive into the revamped system and earn unique rewards like Farah – Jinn.

PUBG: New State to reportedly release on 11 November

PUBG New State, the successor of popular battle royale game PUBG Mobile, is reportedly launching worldwide on 11th November 2021. According to PlayerIGN, this news was apparently going to be revealed tomorrow but due to a small mishap, it was revealed a day earlier.

PUBG: New State is a technologically advanced version of PUBG Mobile with same core mechanics but improved gameplay and graphics. This game will take place in a futuristic world and hence, the equipment available will be technologically advanced as well. Many features have been kept secret for now but they will be unleashed once the game is launched.

This new title was under development for a long time and despite several leaks, the developers did not confirm its release until a recent announcement. This game was termed as PUBG Mobile 2 or Project XTRM as per the early quotations but it was termed as PUBG: New State during the official launch announcement.

A short trailer was also leaked alongside this announcement. The clip shows in-game characters lined up in the new map called Troi. Details about various modes or features were not included in the video.

As per the leak, the official announcement is expected to be made very soon and players might get to enjoy a very technologically advanced PUBG Mobile on 11th November 2021.

Riot Games and Mercedes-Benz reveal Worlds Championship 2021 rings

Riot Games, the American video game developer, publisher, and esports tournament organizer in collaboration with German automotive giant Mercedes-Benz have revealed a championship ring for the ongoing 2021 League of Legends World Championship.

Riot Games and Mercedes-Benz came together to present each member of the 2021 World Championship winning team with one of the custom-fitted championship rings. This ring will be provided in addition to the prize pool of the event.

The rings will be made with the blue and silver colour palette that is associated with the Summoner’s Cup, Riot Games’ signature trophy for the World Championship introduced in 2012. Each ring is made from 18 karat white gold and sapphire.

LOL Esports announced this partnership by tweeting, “The pinnacle moment for #Worlds2021 just got bigger! @riotgames and @MercedesBenz joined forces to create bespoke rings that will be awarded to each team member of our 2021 Champions during the Trophy Ceremony presented by Mercedes-Benz.”

Riot Games Global Head of League of Legends Esports Naz Aletaha said, “Championship rings are a storied tradition in sports, synonymous with the highest achievements and unmatched excellence.”

The 2021 World Championship is the biggest League of Legends esports event of the year. The tournament features 24 teams from all regions of the game in a months-long race for the Summoner’s Cup. The playoffs are scheduled to take place from October 22nd – 25th, October 30th – 31st and November 6th 2021 and feature a massive prize pool of $2,225,000 USD.
