“We Are Also Working On Some Casual Games Aside From Esports Games” Vishwalok Nath From ESPL At Talkesport Interact

With the resounding success of the Esports Premier League (ESPL) 2021, we finally got a chance to talk with the Director of ESPL, Mr. Vishwalok Nath. In our latest Talkesport Interact episode with sit down with the man behind the success of ESPL 2021 and talk about the future of the ESPL IP and India Today Gaming.

ESPL 2021 was India’s first Franchise based Free Fire tournament where more than a million teams registered and generated more than 100 million views. While the tournament only featured one game, Mr Vishwalok hinted that the future iterations of the ESPL tournament will feature more games and platforms.

Talking with Talkesport, Mr Vishwalok expressed that his team is working hard to expand the platform and add more games aside from competitive esports titles. Yes, that’s right, India Today Gaming is working on some casual games and has already launched one casual game on the android platform. While Mr Vishwalok didn’t reveal the name of the game, he happily reported that his team was very happy with the response the game is getting and is closely watching the progress of the game. In future, the team plans to add more content to the sole title and work on launching more casual games.

“We have launched one casual game also and we are not marketing or talking about it at this point in time. We have kinda launched it and kept it on the Play Store while closely monitoring the reviews. The tech team is looking at the game response for bugs and content requests and so far are happy about the game. Once we are convinced about the game, we plan to do a mega campaign and market the game. We plan to come up with more casual games, while not at Free Fire and BGMI level, but they are gonna be more casual games.”

While the team is working on casual games, it doesn’t mean that the focus from competitive games will deter. As per Mr Vishwalok, Esports will remain the biggest slice of the pie they will be working towards. His team is working on adding support for Desktop and Console platforms and will include more popular titles in future events.

Vishwalok Nath talks about ESPL milestones and its history

Esports Premier League has successfully concluded as one of the major Free Fire events in India. The organizers launched this event as a trailer of ESPL events and the response from community has been overwhelming so far. The tournament has reached several landmarks in its journey and Mr. Vishwalok Nath emphasized on them at the TalkEsport Interact interview series.

The director of ESPL, Vishwalok Nath, had a long conversation on ESPL, its several aspects and its future at TalkEsport Interact and revealed several key points regarding this tournament. He mentioned some of the feats and one of them is that ESPL is the world’s first franchised league tournament for Free Fire.

This achievement is also backed by many other highlights such as ESPL crossed more than one million registrations in its first ever season and the video views crossed the 100M threshold. This start has inspired the organizers to arrange ESPL on a much larger scale for the next year.

According to Mr. Nath, the registrations and views have increased ten times as compared to their first ever tournament called Free Fire India Today League. The registrations for this tournament reached a peak of 125,000 registrations and 12 million video views within a span of 1.5 years.

The organizers have taken this big jump as a positive sign and are looking to diversify ESPL in to different game genres and platforms in the upcoming years. Mr. Nath confirmed that they are planning to host ESPL for PC as well as Console titles but no definite names were suggested.

The next ESPL season of Free Fire will be action packed as similar to the IPL, it will have franchised teams supporting different cities. One of the franchised team has already been sold by the organizers and they are currently planning a layout through which the rest of the teams could be open for bidding before the tournament begins.

ESPL director sheds light on Govt. Officials’ involvement in ESPL

India Today Gaming has rose the bars of Indian esports by successfully hosting a major Free Fire tournament called Esports Premier League. This tournament enjoyed success on multiple fronts and one of the key factors affecting its success is large marketing and strong support. Sports Ministers from several states endorsed this event and Mr. Vishwalok Nath explained how they brought such influential personalities onboard to support an esports event.

India is still in the its preliminary stages of growth for esports industry. The gaming is still not widespread even though its is quite popular. Many times, the concept is misunderstood by many as a form of gambling and hence, India has a slight stigma related to gaming industry.

Due to such diversified issues, it must have been a difficult task to bring government officials onboard to support an esports event and Mr. Nath explained the same on Talkesport Interact. In this session, Mr. Nath said that many ministers already knew about the esports industry and offered a hand to support this event but the organizers struggled to bring some of them onboard.

Some ministers mistook gaming or esports as gambling and real money games where people are betting on the performance of other players. Mr. Nath went on to explain that they went in depth to explain the officials that both concepts are different and how esports industry is growing around the world.

They made their case based on some facts like esports has secured a place in Asian Games and might be added to Olympics as well in the future. This paved a path a officials including themselves in ESPL and attending several events like team announcements and other things.

Although India has not officially recognized esports yet, efforts by organizers like India Today Gaming is clearly making some impact towards achieving that goal.

When will the server transfer feature go live?

While the feature is present in update 1.03, the devs have decided to roll out the feature in a phased manner starting with the Utopia world first, in the AP Southeast region. Devs will monitor transfers in this world, and if anything out of the ordinary occurs the team will manually intervene and fix the issues. If all goes well, the devs will turn on the feature for the rest of the AP Southeast region, and continue monitoring it abit more. Valkyrae Skincare Drama Explained

0

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few days, chances are that you’ve come in touch with the recent drama involving popular YouTuber Rachel “Valkyrae” Hofstetter and RFLCT, a range of skincare products designed to protect your skin from blue light.

Through an announcement on October 19th, Valkyrae launched her very own range of skincare products known as RFLCT. The products have been described to offer a “new kind of screen protection” and are claimed to benefit “everyone who uses a screen.”

“After 2 years, it’s here!” Valkyrae announced on her Twitter. “I wanted to create something that would help not just myself, but everybody with a life in front of screens!”

https://twitter.com/Valkyrae/status/1450498051013943297?s=20

“It’s the skincare collection for everyone who uses a screen,” Valkyrae says in the RFLCT announcement video. “It’s designed to protect your skin from blue light that is emitted from all digital screens.”

However, it seems like a good portion of her followers on social media aren’t too excited about the launch of this new product. Several people have pointed out that there’s a significant lack of scientific evidence to prove that blue light has a negative impact on our skin.

According to the company, RFLCT includes a unique mix of ingredients known as “Blue Light Prevention Factor” to “boost your skin’s defenses” against blue light as well as repair damage that has already been done.

“It’s like SPF, but for the screen,” the

 RFLCT website claims.

“Rachel, there is no, peer reviewed literature, clinically assessing the damaging effects of blue light on the skin, and certainly none presented by RFLCT,” a Twitter user comments on Valkyrae’s post. “Your company designs trademarks aimed to fool the average consumer into believing that the product is based on genuine science. “

“I don’t believe a blue light is destroying your skin in the way the RFLCT product presents itself,” popular Twitch streamer HasanAbi said during a livestream

“It’s just f**king soap. This blue light sh*t is bullsh*t.”

Within a few hours of fans raising questions about the authenticity of her products, Valkyrae issued a response on her Twitter.

“I was told to wait until tomorrow to speak,” Valkyrae posted on her private Twitter account ‘itsraechill.’ “I’m also very confused.”

However, the tweet was deleted shortly afterwards. No further response has been made by Valkyrae or the RFLCT team as of yet.

Free Fire Code FFICJGW9NKYT – How to Redeem It?

Free Fire is the multiplayer battle-royale mobile game with softer graphics that do not depict the hardcore survival genre but has its own perks. The developers tend to focus on its cosmetic side and hence, players can enjoy a variety of different in-game skins and player characters that make the game stand out than the rest.

Players can get their hands on these skins by spending money and using diamonds but one of the simpler ways is by getting time limited or permanent gifts by using redeem codes.

Redeem codes are basically gift vouchers that players can redeem to get some free in-game items or in-game currency as the redemption gift. These coupons sound very lucrative but are not very easily available. Garena holds some giveaways for these coupon codes for very limited occasions and players have to be very quick to avail these rewards.

Recently, Garena concluded the finals of Free Fire India Championship and similar to every tournament, it had a viewership milestone. After reaching that point, players were receiving a redeem code which could be used to ultimately earn many rewards.

The FFIC special redeem code is as follows: FFICJGW9NKYT

The list of rewards earnt by this code are:

  • Pickup Truck – Fancy Ride
  • Custom Room Card
  • Mag-7 Executioner
  • FFIC Gold Token.

HOW TO REDEEM FREE FIRE COUPON CODE?

If you do not know how to use redeem codes, follow the steps given below:

  • Visit the Reward Redemption center of Garena Free Fire. Click here to visit.
  • Log in with your Free Fire account. One must have either Facebook or Google ID signed in as a Guest account does not work.
  • Enter the code and get free rewards in your in-game item vault.

Make sure to check that the available Free Fire coupon is 12 characters long, with a string of numbers and capital letters mixed. Also, remember to use the coupon before it gets expired to avail the rewards.

KrutikaPlays account accidentally terminated, YouTuber requests pardon

0

Popular BGMI streamer Krutika Ojha aka Krutika Play’s YouTube channel was terminated following an accidental display of nudity on a live stream.

All live streaming platforms have strict community guidelines against explicit content, specifically against nudity and for good reason, the likes of Krutika Plays are visited by viewers from all age groups, and guidelines are placed to help protect underage children online.

Although, what shows up on the live stream is under the control of the streamer but it gets out of their hand at times, like in the case of the said streamer.

During a meme review session where she was going through submissions on her discord, she came across an explicit video, which, for obvious reasons did not sit right with the community guidelines resulting in her channel getting terminated.

Meme reviews on a live stream can often result in such accidents, the likes of xQc and many top streamers were victims of the same. There’s enough precedent to suggest that her channel will be reinstated once YouTube does a proper review of the situation.

Several top streamers and personalities have come together to support her in these troubling times. A termination on a channel that boasted a steady growth is a big blow and we hope YouTube takes a look into resolving it as soon as possible.
