BGMI Emulator: How to play BGMI on PC?

Battlegrounds Mobile India is one of the most trending battle royale games in the world. It was a replacement to PUBG Mobile in India and before the latter was banned, it had a relatively bigger player base on Emulator. Players used to play PUBGM on PC and those who are missing it can do the same by using third-party emulators to play BGMI on their PC.

Krafton Inc. has not provided any official emulator to play BGMI on PC as the game is meant to be enjoyed on mobile itself. Players can still enjoy it on their computers by using applications like Bluestacks and NOX Player.

The procedure given below can be used on Windows and Apple computers alike as the installation part is quite similar. Players can use the emulator of their choice to do so. This is how to play BGMI on PC using Bluestacks or NOX Player:

  • Install the Bluestacks or NOX Player emulator on your computer.
  • Launch it and search for BGMI from the emulator search bar.
  • Install the game and login with your account.
  • After a successful installation of this emulator, players can enjoy the game on their PC.

Remember that BGMI is only meant to be played in India and hence, the international players would need to download PUBGM on their PC to enjoy the game. Also, PUBG Mobile had different matchmaking for emulator players and a similar can be expected in BGMI as well.

Pokimane is still looking for an apology from Ninja and Jessica Blevins

0

Pokimane accused Ninja of helping Jidion ‘hate raid’ her which Ninja and his wife Jessica Blevins answered back by threatening a defamation lawsuit.

Jidion hate-raided Pokimane where his viewers flooded her chat and spammed “L+Ratio” to pester her. The “hate raid” ended up in Jidion getting banned for 14 days which was later converted into a permanent ban.

Pokimane in her stream shared some harsh opinions about Ninja, where she called him out for casually referring to female streamers as “bitches” and tried using his Twitch connections to help Jidion evade a ban after the latter harassed Pokimane.

“(JiDion) was faster to apologize to me than Ninja and Jessica Blevins,” Pokimane said with a laugh but she may have to let it go given Jessica Blevins will most likely step down as Ninja’s manager in coming days.

“We are considering everything defamation of character at this point,” “You are spewing lies to tens of thousands of people,” said Jessica Blevins.

Following the drama, Pokimane conceded that Ninja may have pretended to text given she was no way to prove otherwise.

With Jessica stepping down and Ninja not remotely accepting what Pokimane has accused him of, she might never get the apology she was looking for.

Tarik Calls Valorant Easier Than CSGO After nitr0’s Return

Professional CSGO player Tarik ‘tarik’ Çelik hosted a watch party to watch the first CSGO event of 2022, BLAST Premier Spring Groups. During his stream, he was avidly watching the games of his former team Evil Geniuses as well as other NA CSGO teams in the tournament, i.e. Team Liquid and Complexity.

Team Liquid’s IGL, Nick ‘nitr0’ Cannella returned to CSGO after spending a year and a half in Valorant with 100Thieves. He had left CS in 2020 and was an integral part of 100 Thieves’ early success in Valorant. His return was inspired by watching the CSGO Major – PGL Stockholm, combined with some problems in the 100 Thieves Valorant roster, as he said himself on Reddit.

In January 2022, he played his first official game of CSGO and found it difficult to hit his stride.

“nitr0 was farming these Motherf*****s in Valorant, now he comes over to CS, and he’s having a hard time. At that point, I’d consider going back if I were him. Motherf**kers in Valorant weren’t shooting back,” Tarik said.

This was in a clear criticism of the level of difference in CSGO and Valorant, both the games being First-person shooters.

Nitr0 has been struggling in CSGO ever since his return and during BLAST Premier Spring Groups he had a rating of 0.80, which is well below par, as well as a 0.65 K/D ratio.

Tarik himself has been Streaming Valorant non-stop on his Twitch Channel, and his YouTube channel to feature only Valorant content lately, with the last CSGO video being from November 2021.

Back in July 2021, he wasn’t afraid to call CSGO harder than Valorant on Twitter, whether he was just farming impressions or actually meant what he said, only he knows.

Recently he also baited CSGO players by saying “bro lowkey cs is kinda boring now valo has effects n shit” ensuring balanced appreciation and criticism.

IS VALORANT HARDER THAN CSGO?

The two first-person shooters have always been compared, mainly because of the similarities in the two games.

But Valorant, since its release, has gone in a different direction than it’s counterpart. Valorant introduces new agents, with their own unique abilities while in CSGO everyone has the same character and player model.

The utilities in Valorant are also way different than CSGO, as CSGO relies on the simplistic approach of Smokes, Molotovs, Flashbangs and HE Grenades while Valorant has different utilities altogether such as Sova’s dart and Killjoy etc.

While it is true that ex CSGO pros that couldn’t find their place in the upper echelons of CSGO have moved to Valorant and are at the top tier there.

The likes of Scream, TenZ, Shazam, FNS, swag etc. have found their calling in CSGO. nitr0, autimatic, Nivera and perhaps Jampii were the only tier 1 pros to have moved to Valorant during the height of their careers.

Non-Prime Cheaters Matched Up Against Prime CSGO Players?

CSGO introduced Prime status after it went Free to Play, back in December 2018. Existing users would get a free Prime status upgrade while new players had to either buy the Prime Status for $15 or grind up to Level 21 through XP to get the Prime Status upgrade for free.

But in June 2021, Valve decided to remove this and the only way to get Prime Status in CSGO would be by paying from the upgrade.

In the CSGO Prime update, Valve said “Ranked matchmaking has been restricted to Prime players only. However, Non-prime players will be able to enjoy every other game mode like Casual, Workshop maps, Deathmatch, or the newly implemented ‘Unranked’ mode.”

Now, reports have surfaced of Prime CSGO players being matched up with cheaters with Non prime CSGO accounts. This was thought to not be possible as non-prime players couldn’t play competitive ranked games until and unless they bought the prime status upgrade.

WHY ARE PRIME PLAYERS FACING NON PRIME ACCOUNTS?

It is well known that even Prime accounts with high steam levels and expensive inventories can be cheaters, so it isn’t too big of a leap to find out that a non-prime account may be cheating.

But non-prime accounts aren’t allowed to play regular ranked matchmaking so it begs the question why are Prime CSGO accounts facing non-prime cheaters.

The only possible explanation for this is that non-prime players are queueing up with prime players. Since prime players CAN play ranked MM, and if a non-prime player joins the party then it may be possible to queue for a CSGO matchmaking game.

This has become a headache as Prime CSGO players have to deal with Prime accounts hacking but now non-prime accounts have joined the fray too.

This CSGO Bug on Mirage Can Get You Killed From Nowhere

A new game-breaking CSGO bug has been found on its iconic map, Mirage, and many players are trying their hardest to glitch their game in hopes of replicating it.

The bug enables Terrorists to see through an otherwise solid object, and can easily catch a CT off-guard as he can get killed from seemingly nowhere.

As explained in a Reddit post by a CSGO player who encountered this bug, the carts near mid on Mirage would often become see-through, enabling him to get a clear one-way view into Catwalk.

While there is no certain way to be able to replicate this bug, many CSGO fans have been trying to figure out the cause of this issue in the comments. Some claim that the bug is completely random, while others hold the opinion that this can be replicated by alt-tabbing in and out of the game.

Regardless, CSGO fans would be hoping for Valve to fix this issue at the earliest. Till then, players might want to avoid peeking mid from Catwalk as a CT.

While this bug may not be as nasty as some others we’ve seen in the past, if you do encounter this bug, make sure not to abuse it since it can potentially get you banned from the game.

How many people play CSGO in 2022?

Nine years after its release, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive still matters! New stats show growth in active CSGO player count in 2022.

Fresh rivals may have impaired some of CSGO’s popularity, but Valve’s shooter is recovering quickly. The classic shooter game continues to attract new players, despite a lengthy slump triggered in 2021. According to steam charts, counter-strike is regaining the lost numbers in 2022.

What’s active CSGO player count in 2022?

According to the steam charts, CSGO peaked at 991,625 players in January 2022. This is the highest in the last eight months, proving that things are looking up for CSGO in the new year.

The exact average numbers for CSGO are unknown, but according to credible tracker active player, the game is set to average 35 million monthly players in 2022. Just in January, CSGO saw its biggest increase in the unique player count, with 55,762 players logging into their steam accounts. This addition brings CSGO closer to the 1 million mark.

In 2021, CSGO saw its most significant player decline consistently for six months. After hitting the 1 million milestone, the online format struck CSGO like lightning, shredding 16.75% of its player count. PGL Major Stockholm helped regain some of the lost count, but no consistent surge was observed. However, CSGO is off to a great start in 2022.

What’s a peak CSGO player count?

CSGO reached its all-time peak in April 2020 with 1,305,714 concurrent players. This massive boost died in the very next month when the game dropped 10% of its players. Valve’s shooter quickly regained the 1 million mark in November 2020, and it seems to be edging closer to it once again.

Is CSGO dying in 2022?

CSGO’s popularity has taken a significant hit, but the numbers stay strong. Despite a slump, Valve’s shooter remains one of the most talked-about games in 2022.

On Steam, the game retains its number spot with a packed player list. The watched hours on Twitch also testify that it’s still relevant and entertaining. According to Twitch metrics, CSGO is the eighth most-watched game in February 2022 with 47,372,905. These stats prove that players are still hooked to CSGO’s realistic visuals and deadly arsenal.

The numbers of CSGO are expected to skyrocket in 2022. Valve has already announced one major for the first quarter, and another may happen by the end of the year. These two tournaments should positively impact the game’s popularity, bringing in new players in 2022.
