Valorant Franchising Teams Will Be Revealed Next Week

0

Previously, we had seen Riot Games revealing the roadmap for next year’s Valorant Champions Tour. In case you haven’t had the time to check it out yet, VCT 2023 will feature three regional leagues that only a select few ‘partnered teams’ will be able to compete in, with the first International Split starting in March 2023.

Today, on the final day of Valorant Champions 2022, President of Esports for Riot Games John Needham has confirmed that the list of all partnered teams will be revealed by the company next week.

Riot will be partnering with 10 teams from each region, which means that there will be a total of 30 teams officially partnered throughout the globe.

During the interview, Needham also revealed Riot’s plans to host an upcoming event in Japan.

Currently, there hasn’t been any confirmation on the list of teams that have managed to secure partnerships with the company.

Teams that failed to secure partnerships with Riot Games can still participate in the upcoming Valorant Challengers Circuit 2023 to stand a chance to participate in the VCT 2024 season.

To know more about Valorant franchising and the number of teams that initially applied for partnership, fans can check out this article

VALORANT Mobile Images Leaked; Spotted Testing On Google Play Store

0

Ever since hints of a Valorant Mobile Game surfaced, the community has gone berserk thinking about the possibility of playing Valorant in your mobile phones. Yesterday, the internet was taken by surprise when screenshots of Valorant Mobile getting private tested on Google Play Store appeared.

Private Testing allows Google accounts with permission to access the beta and test it out before it drops for everyone. Popular mobile game data miner @DannyINTEL posted the screenshots on Twitter, followed up by a video showing how to access the private beta.

Valorant Mobile was teased way back but nothing as convincing as this surfaced in a long time. Now for sure we can assume that the game is close to completion and in a few months of time, we will be able experience the same on our mobile phones.

The private beta for obvious reasons is covered under a NDA, and as it read: “Thank you for joining the VALORANT Mobile F&F weekend! We’re excited to share the game with you! This is a work-in-progress prototype and you are under NDA to not share any information with anyone outside of Riot or the other F&F participants. Good Luck, have fun!“.

Form the many leaks, a Jett gameplay in Bind surfaced, where we get the first visual impression of how the game looks on the small screen. As convincing as it is, the game is still in its beta stages which means a lot of improvements will meet the game once it drops for the public.

Now that the beta has surfaced, it is safe to say that the full game will be a few months away and more such leaked content will make it to the us as time passes. With the game looking extremely good on mobile, Riot has a scope to build an esport out of it, given mobile games attract an equally large audience.

Loud wins Valorant Champions 2022

After an intense and action-packed showdown between LOUD and OpTic in the grand finals of Valorant Champions 2022, the former has managed to come out on top.

In case you missed the action that went down today in Istanbul, Turkey, we have you covered. Here is a full recap of the Valorant Champions 2022 Grand Finals played between OpTic Gaming and LOUD.

Map Veto

1. LOUD ban Pearl
2. LOUD ban Fracture*
3 LOUD pick Ascent
4. OpTic pick Bind
5. LOUD pick Breeze
6. OpTic pick Haven
7. Icebox was leftover

OpTic started Ascent on the right foot despite losing the pistol round on their defense. With straight 6 rounds in their bag, they managed to close the first half 7-5 but fell short to their opponents as Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi annihilated the North Americans with a deadly 32-kill rampage.

Sacy’s heroics saw LOUD from charting a comeback to forcing overtime over Pujan “FNS” Mehta and his troops and running away with their map pick.

*LOUD previously had an advantage over the Map Veto as they marched onto the Grand Finals from their Upper Bracket run.

The first half of Bind was an exact replica of what OpTic pulled off over in the first map, securing a healthy lead over the Brazilians. Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker was the person who lead the onslaught while donning Chamber. A comeback attempt by LOUD was denied by the North Americans as the latter were able to close out the game post their 17th-round win.

Following LOUD’s overtime victory on the first map, Ascent, OpTic managed to tie the score with a convincing victory on their map pick, Bind. The action continued in game 3 with LOUD’s map pick, Breeze.

OpTic started the map with a head start after winning the pistol round behind a 3K by Victor “Victor” Wong, and converted the following round successfully without leaving any room for error.

While the following round seemed to be in favor of LOUD for a moment, an amazing lurk from Austin “crashies” Roberts on the Sova which was then converted into a neat 3K enabled OpTic to easily retake the site from their South American opposition.

It wasn’t until the sixth round that LOUD managed to get their first win on the board, but OpTic swiftly retaliated in round 7 to shatter LOUD’s momentum.

However, LOUD weren’t done just yet. The org managed to punish OpTic’s overly aggressive plays and converted the next eight rounds in a row behind some stellar individual performances from the players.

The two teams then continued trading rounds back and forth as the game went into three overtimes before LOUD sealed it with two round wins in a row.

LOUD kicked off OpTic’s map pick Haven with three consecutive round wins before the latter secured a thrifty round equipped with Stingers and Guardians.

The teams then went back and forth till the first half concluded at 7-5 in favor of LOUD. The second half was pretty much dominated by the Brazilian squad.

The fifteenth round saw LOUD’s Felipe “Less” Basso get an amazing ace to shut down a possible retake from OpTic, which then paved the way for LOUD to win the rest of the rounds to close out the game 13-5.

OpTic vs. LOUD breaks Valorant Esports viewership record

0

While OpTic Gaming and LOUD battle in the grand final of VCT Champions 2022, the final episode in this year’s top VALORANT rivalry broke the peak viewer record with ease.

Over 1.4 million concurrent viewers watched map two of the grand final after LOUD won map one in overtime. This number surpasses the previous top concurrent viewership figures for Champions 2021 and both Masters Reykjavik tournaments by a significant margin.

According to Esports Charts, both surpassed 1 million concurrent viewers but didn’t reach 1.1 million.

The main English feed of the Champions 2022 grand final will attract more than a quarter of a million viewers on Twitch. Other popular streams include the Tarik co-stream, the Portuguese Twitch and YouTube broadcasts, the English YouTube stream, and fps shaka’s official Japanese broadcast and co-stream.

Champions 2022 is the most-watched VALORANT and VCT event ever, having smashed the total hours seen record the day before. In addition, the event will come to a close with an average viewership of more than 500,000 viewers spread out over a total of 112 hours of airtime.

It is also a major milestone for the players and brand of OpTic, as they are now the only VALORANT team to have three separate matches reach one million concurrent viewers. These matches include this final against LOUD, the final of Reykjavik 2022 against LOUD, and the lower final of Champions 2022 against DRX.

If LOUD and OpTic are able to take this match all the way to map five, the final concurrent viewer milestone for this event could wind up being higher than 1.5 million.

GTA 6 Gameplay Supposedly Leaks Revealing Robbery and More

0

Rockstar is now ready to go on to Grand Theft Auto 6, having waited nearly a decade after the release of their previous game. Rockstar’s forthcoming game is in active production, although nothing is known.

Within the past few months, there have been a number of Grand Theft Auto leaks. GTA 6 will not have three playable characters, and Rockstar is aiming for photorealism, according to trusted sources.

On the other hand, this most recent video might be the leak with the most credibility up to this point. The video was apparently obtained from a hacker with a history of breaking into Uber. The latest GTA 6 leak looks more real than any other.

The video that is now being broadcast above has garnered a lot of attention very rapidly. A number of viewers have remarked that the leak appears to have a high level of plausibility, particularly when compared to previous occurrences. In this video, we see a female character robbing a cafe, and we also get some gameplay footage of shooting and driving.

Unsurprisingly, a significant portion of the assets appears to be in the first stages of the development process. According to the video, the game won’t be released for at least a year or two, but the way things are right now, players won’t be too disappointed. To say that the shadows and landscapes seem amazing is an understatement.

The gameplay’s speech and music, meanwhile, have strong echoes of the Grand Theft Auto series in their inspiration. The conclusion is that this particular GTA 6 leak is the most credible one to date.

However, you should take this information with a grain of salt because it might not be accurate. In the past, a number of seemingly credible leaks turned out to be fabrications. It’s best to wait for confirmation from more reliable sources.

For years, everyone in the industry has been talking about how excited they are for Grand Theft Auto 6. Many have been waiting for Rockstar’s next installment, but official gameplay seems doubtful anytime soon. For the time being, the veracity of this latest leak is in dispute; yet, the gameplay appears to be highly convincing.

The most prominent footage shows the reported Bonnie and Clyde-like duo (apparently named Lucia and Jason) robbing a diner and exercising crowd control before the authorities arrive. A second video shows a figure strolling with a pistol in their hand and a rifle on their back, suggesting Rockstar will use the Red Dead Redemption 2 inventory system that only lets you carry two weapons.

Previous GTA games let you carry an arsenal in an unseen pocket, but not this one. Another video shows one of Rockstar’s secret tools in use, adding to the leak’s believability. One video in a strip club shows very dense crowds for the game.

Is Soul Goblin retiring from competitive BGMI events?

BGMI has been one of the biggest mobile gaming esports that has led to the rise of various big talents throughout the region. One of them is Harsh Paudwal aka Soul Goblin from Team Soul. Goblin has seen his rise from semi-pro player to pro player in a short span after being associated with Team Soul.

While the players were looking to become the leading professional player in the BGMI esports. On July 28, 2022, the Indian Government banned the game by taking it down from Google Play Store and App Store. Thus, once again putting the dreams of many players on hold.

Since the ban, there have been no tournaments featuring the game. Adding to it, Soul Goblin announced his temporary retirement from the BGMI competitive events. In one of his recent live streams, he talked about his present situation in the game.

He said, “I am leaving competitive for now. Will come back once the game will be back. It is a temporary retirement.”

The retirement announcement was a hoax

After his statement on the retirement, Goblin once again came back to clear the air on the issue. He said, “The news spreading on my retirement is not true. It was just a prank. I just said that I will be retiring and be back once the game will be available to play. Don’t take it the wrong way. I am not leaving competitive.”

In the event that you are unsure about which graphics card:

To run the command prompt, use the Windows key and R. (this will open up a “Run” window).

After entering dxdiag, press the Enter key.

“All the good players are in Counter-Strike”: Wardell

0

After leaving TSM in March, the Canadian Valorant pro Matthew “Wardell” Yu is now a free agent. Wardell is undoubtedly one of the best Operator players in the world. He is well-known for playing Jett and Chamber.

Wardell now streams Valorant on Twitch and has more than 1 million followers. Apparently, becoming a Valorant pro player isn’t that hard for the former CSGO pro. Recently, Wardell also mentioned that being a Valorant pro doesn’t mean anything.

Being a pro in this game is nothing. This game is nothing. Because all the good players are in Counter-Strike. In this game, I fear nobody.

Matthew “Wardell” Yu

The comparison between Valorant and CSGO is quite contentious. Previously, Team Vitality’s apEX mentioned the game as “Shitlorant”, while Shroud said that CSGO is quite easy.

This is a never-ending battle between the two esports titles. Which one do you think is better? Valorant or CSGO? Let us know in the comment section below.

Top 5 BGMI players in India right now

BGMI was a trending game in India before it was banned and the competition was only flourishing with time. Despite the game being banned in India, the players have made international appearances for a couple of times. Here are our top five picks on the best BGMI players in India right now.

Top 5 BGMI Players in India

1. Goblin

soul goblin

Goblin is the first on this list and he does not need an introduction for the fan base. Goblin is currently the star player in Team Soul roster and has an incredible fire power that is at par with most BGMI pros in India.

He is still a budding player who lacks experience when it comes to LAN tournaments and many other things but his simple mechanical prowess makes it up for other shortcomings. Goblin is often seen going into battles without second thoughts and while the condition works in his favour some times, it may go wrong at any moment as well.

2. Sc0ut

Sc0ut from Team XSpark is known to be an international player that has put India’s name on the global roadmap. He recently proved his worth yet again as he had a chance to play for India at PMWI Afterparty event.

He was playing from Team 7Seas and even though they were unable to keep up with the competition, Sc0ut had his shining moment as he secured a chicken dinner at the international stage yet again.

3. Omega

Omega is the leader of Team Soul who manages to bring out the best from his team in every tournament they play. He is one of the oldest players in India and started his journey from Team 8Bit to run a full circle before coming back to S8UL.

He was recently commended at PMWI as his decision making was impeccable as Team Soul was seen in the center of zones almost every map. They were unable to win because of their lack in fighting power but apart from that, Omega and his calls really made it easy for the team to win and hence, he is currently one of the best in India.

4. Jonathan

Jonathan can never be missed when one talks about the best BGMI players in India or even around the world. Jonathan is a player that was termed as hacker in his early days. He was so good at the game even before players were able to comprehend that such mechanical mastery can exist in a mobile game.

Jonathan has been in a slump period for quite some time now but his engagement in the game has not decreased even a little bit.

5. Shadow

Shadow is currently the IGL for Team GodLike and was an interesting addition to the team. He was able to bring out the best out of this team and making them competitive again after going downhill for quite some time.

Shadow has been making a name for himself as the new leader of GodLike but since the game is banned for quite some time now, these players are unable to make any impact or play in major tournaments.
