VALORANT Mobile officially launched in China on August 19, 2025, turning rumors into a reality. The game launched after extended beta testing and pre-release campaigns, developed in partnership with Lightspeed Studios, a gaming house with extensive experience creating mobile FPS games.
Initial impressions suggested that Riot has managed to bring an extremely similar experience to the mobile version, sparking global interest, which got the community hyped about having a mobile version, but only to get total silence from the developers ever since.
When Is the VALORANT Mobile Global Launch?
A year has passed since the game launched in China, but the rest of the world is still waiting to have the game in their pockets. While Riot has not officially confirmed a release date, popular community figures predicted it would be released in 2026, with no official word yet as of August.
Latest rumors suggest that we will get an announcement from Riot before the end of the year, and if we are lucky, the game might hit the App Store and Play Store ahead of 2027.
PUBG PC was the first major esports title that saw a mobile version, which led to a parallel esports title that now pulls more viewers than the PC version.
