SouL, Godlike Trail in BMPS 2025: Can They Make a Comeback? Two Days Left

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2025 (BMPS 2025) Semi Finals Week 2 has reached its halfway point, and two of India’s most beloved BGMI teams find themselves in precarious positions. After Day 2 concluded on 20th June, 2025, iQOO Soul sits at 13th place with 41 points, while Hero Xtreme Godlike languishes even further down at 16th position with 35 points. With only the top 8 teams qualifying for the Grand Finals in Delhi, both organizations face an uphill battle.

The overall leaderboard after 12 matches shows Gods Omen leading with an impressive 83 points, followed closely by OnePlus Gods Reign at 82 points. Meanwhile, Soul and Godlike’s positions highlight their struggles in this crucial stage. Soul managed to accumulate 41 points across their first eight matches, while Godlike could only muster 35 points, placing them dangerously close to elimination territory.

Both teams had disappointing starts on Day 1, where they were positioned at 18th and 19th places respectively with just 15 points each. While Soul managed to climb slightly up the rankings on Day 2, their progress remains insufficient given the fierce competition.

Can iQOO SouL and Hero Xtreme Godlike Stage a Comeback?

With 16 matches total per team and only 8 matches remaining over the coming two days, both Soul and Godlike need exceptional performances to break into the top 8. The format allows each team to play 4 matches per day, providing limited opportunities for redemption.

The mathematics are unforgiving. Teams like Team Insane Esports (6th with 61 points), Mysterious 4 (7th with 56 points), and Volcano Esports (8th with 55 points) currently occupy the bottom three qualification spots. Soul needs to gain at least 15-20 points to secure their position, while Godlike faces an even steeper climb.

Both organizations boast massive fan followings and have recently performed well in major tournaments. Their supporters are hoping for miraculous turnarounds in the remaining matches scheduled for 21st and 22nd June.
