Pita leaves NiP; THREAT joins as head coach

Björn “THREAT” Pers has replaced Faruk ‘pita’ Pita as the head coach of Ninjas In Pyjamas.

Recent times saw NIP go through major changes from establishing new headquarter to appointing new executives. With latest reports hinting Patrick ‘f0rest’ Lindberg leaving NIP for Dignitas, the news of pita’s departure cannot be tagged as unexpected.

Pita expressed his feeling about NIP and wished them luck for future endeavors.” And now knowing that I won’t stand there beside them is really rough because I know they will win one day, they are good people and good things happens to good people. Also, they are warriors and warriors do not give up. I’m going to miss every single one of them as well as I’ve missed all the other players I’ve had the opportunity to work with these two years. ” said pita in his TwitLonger post.

THREAT previously joined NIP as an assistant coach to aid pita and now he has been appointed to fill pita’s shoes as head coach.

His foray as head coach will take place in Blast Premier on 31st January 2020 and with recent rumours floating around, their squad thus far stand as:

  •  Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg
  •  Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson
  •  Simon “twist” Eliasson
  •  Fredrik “REZ” Sterner
  •  Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez Zamora
  • Björn “THREAT” Pers (coach)
