League of Legends Patch 13.1 Patch Notes

League of Legends is getting major updates in more areas than one right as we walk into the new year where a new season for the game unfolds with new elements for gamers to enjoy, being more than a decade old, LoL is still going strong whilst boasting a solid player base.

The new patch is introduced right in time for the new season as players get enough time to get used to the several changes that will get implemented in the game. This allows the developers to make necessary improvements if players find something that needs to be adjusted or nerfed.

Patch 13.1 will make the beginning of a new season with a new Ranked split and a brand new year for the MOBA. The Rod of Ages update is coming in this patch, along with the Jax mini-rework. So let’s start talking about all the changes coming to League of Legends at the start of a new season.

Release Date

League of Legends Patch 13.1 will likely be released on or around January 10th, 2023. Season 13 will start with the new Ranked Split around that date.

Jax

Q – Leap Strike

  • AP Ratio: 60% >>> removed
  • Icon Update

E – Counter Strike

  • Damage: 55-155 (+50% bonus AD) physical damage >>> 55-175 + 4% max health (+100% AP) magic damage
  • Damage bonus plus attack dodged: 20% of all total damage >>> 20% of base damage.

R – Grandmaster’s Might

  • Passive:
    • Damage: 100/140/180 (+70% AP) >>> 100-150 (+60% AP)
    • Added VFX and SFX when the passive attack is ready.
  • New Active (With new animations and VFX)
    • Jax swings his lantern around him, dealing 150-300 (+100% AP) magic damage to nearby enemies. If he hits an enemy champion, he gains 10-40 (+.1 bonus AD) armor and magic resist, plus 14-22 (+.1 bonus AD) per champion hit for the next 8 seconds.

  • Mana to healing conversion increased from 20% to 25%.
  • Max healing per cast increased from 15 to 20.
  • Bonus Movement Speed increased from 25% to 35%
  • Bonus Movement Speed duration increased from 2 seconds to 3 seconds.
  • The Movement Speed threshold was reduced from 250 to 200.

Catalyst of Aeons

  • Damage to Mana conversion reduced from 8% to 7%.
  • Mana to healing conversion increased from 20% to 25%.
  • Max healing per cast increased from 15 to 20.

ARAM Champion Nerfs

These nerfs are coming mostly to Juggernauts and Assassins, who are taking advantage of the fast-paced games and achieving success that way.
