NS RedForce Star Hyunbin Goes Straight Back to PUBG Mobile Grind After 12-Hour Trip From BMIC 2026

NS RedForce won BMIC 2026 at the Dome, SVP Indoor Stadium in Mumbai on November 1, and after a 12-hour trip home to South Korea, Hyunbin went straight back to PUBG Mobile. NS RedForce head coach Janchi shared a photo on his Instagram story of Hyunbin at his desk in the team house, phone in hand.

“12 hours from Mumbai to our team house in Korea and Hyunbin is already gaming,” Janchi wrote. “He said he was just going to set up his gear. This guy is a different breed.”

From DUKSAN and DRX to NS RedForce: Hyunbin’s road to Mumbai

Hyunbin is Jeon Hyun-bin, a South Korean PUBG Mobile player who joined NS RedForce on January 22, 2026. Before that, he spent about a year and a half at DRX, having moved there in June 2024 after a six-month spell at DUKSAN Esports.

Indian fans already knew his name. He was the MVP of BMIC 2025 in Delhi, where DRX won the title and he recorded 44 finishes across 18 matches. He then won PUBG Mobile Pro Series 2026 Season 1 (PMPS 2026 S1) with NS RedForce in May, and took the MVP award there too.

So he arrived in Mumbai as the defending BMIC MVP in a different jersey, and by the end of the weekend he had the trophy in his hands once again.

NS RedForce ran away with the BMIC 2026 final day

NS RedForce produced one of the most one-sided final days in BMIC’s short history. After two days, they and Dplus KIA were locked together at the top on 100 and 99 points, but NS RedForce then scored 133 points across the last six matches, won three of them and finished 82 points clear of the field.

Hyunbin’s teammates took the individual awards this time. XZY was named MVP and also won the Grenadier award. SOEZ, who moved from DRX to NS RedForce with Hyunbin, was named Best IGL.

BMIC 2026 ran from October 30 to November 1, with 16 teams from India, South Korea and Japan playing 18 matches in a single lobby. Alongside the PMGC place, the title was worth ₹30 lakh from the ₹1 crore prize pool, and the full match-by-match standings are on our BMIC 2026 wiki page.

What Hyunbin’s first night home says about Korean team houses

NS RedForce live and practise together in a team house, as Janchi’s caption makes clear, and team houses are a familiar part of Korean esports. When your bedroom, your desk and your teammates are all in one place, the gap between “travelling” and “training” gets very small. You walk in, you set up, and the next scrim is already on someone’s calendar.

That’s the side of the Korean scene Indian fans saw up close in Mumbai. NS RedForce arrived as the team everyone feared, and the Day 3 numbers showed why. The same team also found time for fun in Mumbai, as you can see in their midnight visit to Jonathan’s house after the win, proof that the squad knows when to switch off as well.

It’s fair to say Indian players put in the hours too. Gladiators, Outrage and K9 took fourth to sixth at BMIC, and Gladiators won three chicken dinners, as many as third-placed Dplus KIA. Even so, they missed out on a PMGC place by seven points, the heartbreak at the centre of our BMIC 2026 winners and losers piece. What Mumbai showed was a gap on the final day, and closing it will come down to the kind of routine Janchi’s post captured.

Hyunbin and NS RedForce head to PMGC 2026 in Türkiye

Winning BMIC sent NS RedForce straight to the Gauntlet of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2026, which will be held in Türkiye with a US$3 million prize pool. Runner-up DRX took BMIC’s other PMGC place in the Group Stage, while India will also be represented by Team SouL, who qualified directly as BGMI Showdown 2026 champions. Dates for the event have not yet been confirmed, but as the season-ending world championship of PUBG Mobile esports, it will be the last and biggest stop of NS RedForce’s year.

A Global Championship title is still missing from Hyunbin’s record. He finished sixth at both PMGC 2024 and PMGC 2025 with DRX, and he now heads to Türkiye with a team that has already won PMPS 2026 Season 1 and BMIC 2026 this year.
